Hare Kṛṣṇa, Guru Mahārāja,
Please accept my most respectful obeisances unto the dust of your lotus feet. All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda. All glories to Śrīla Gurudeva. All glories to your auspicious appearance day.
On this most sacred occasion of your 76th Appearance Day, I am making a humble attempt to offer this homage at your lotus feet.
I am completely unqualified to glorify you, Guru Mahārāja, but for my own purification, I offer these words.
This homage is particularly special to me, as it is the first one I am offering after my initiation. I feel deeply joyful to address you now as your spiritual daughter.
You have been so merciful upon me, Guru Mahārāja, year after year, by giving me the opportunity to offer homage unto your lotus feet. Even now, though I remain a conditioned soul, I seek your blessings for my continued purification and offer this offering with a prayerful heart.
It is deeply inspiring to witness your unwavering service to Śrīla Prabhupāda. I have often heard you say in your lectures that you are still trying to serve him. Your humility, dedication, and lifelong surrender to your spiritual master moves me deeply. Every moment of your life is dedicated to fulfilling Śrīla Prabhupāda’s instructions. I beg at your lotus feet for your mercy so that I may learn to serve you and Śrīla Prabhupāda in that same spirit, following in your sacred footsteps.
Guru Mahārāja, I would also like to glorify your compassion in distributing the mercy of Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu to all conditioned souls. Your commitment to preaching, even in the face of so many physical difficulties, inspires us all. By your mercy, hundreds and thousands of souls have come to know the glories of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu and taken to Kṛṣṇa consciousness. I am one such fortunate soul. I pray at your lotus feet—please empower me to carry forward your mission and preach the glories of Mahāprabhu for your pleasure and for the satisfaction of Śrīla Prabhupāda.
As per your instruction, I have enrolled in the Bhakti-śāstrī course and, beginning in May, I will be preaching Kṛṣṇa consciousness to children in a local school every Saturday. Guru Mahārāja, I beg for your mercy for this service, so that I may become your humble instrument and connect many souls to you, to Śrīla Prabhupāda, and to our glorious guru-paramparā.
On your glorious appearance day, I also humbly beg your blessings to enter the gṛhastha-āśrama with a spiritual partner, so that together we may serve you and Śrīla Prabhupāda to the best of our ability.
My only desire is that, in every lifetime, I may have the opportunity to serve you as my guru with all my abilities—only for your pleasure, with no material motivations.
On this most auspicious day, I pray at the lotus feet of Śrī Śrī Lakṣmī-Nṛsiṁha Deva, Śrī Śrī Pañca-tattva, Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Mādhava, and Śrīla Prabhupāda to bless you with strong health and continued divine strength so you may go on eternally serving Śrīla Prabhupāda and Lord Gaurāṅga’s mission.
We are offering extra tulasī-pradakṣiṇā prayers for your health, Guru Mahārāja.
Thank you, Guru Mahārāja, for being so merciful and for accepting this most menial offering at the dust of your lotus feet.
Your insignificant servant and spiritual daughter,
Rādhā Sugopikā Devī Dāsī
