Vyāsa-pūjā 2025

Sītā Rāma Lakṣmaṇa Dāsa (Perth - Australia)

Dear Guru Mahārāja,

Please accept my respectful obeisances.
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.
All glories to Your Divine Grace.

Another opportunity to glorify You on this most auspicious day, and I am very grateful for Your association and blessings.

One more year has passed, and You have faithfully engaged in the service of Śrīla Prabhupāda and Śrī Gauraṅga Mahāprabhu.
Your unwavering determination and enthusiasm are truly astonishing and deeply inspiring for all of us.
You are setting the perfect example of an Ācārya—one who teaches by example.

Your evening Caitanya-śikṣāmṛta classes are pure nectar, and You never miss an opportunity to glorify Mahāprabhu.

You wish to distribute mercy to everyone, and because of that, You never like to say NO to invitations—whether it be annaprāśana, akṣarābhyāsana, wedding blessings, blessing visiting devotees, and so much more. This list can go on and on…

I saw recently during the ILS (ISKCON Leadership Sanga) that You were scheduled to give a presentation on congregational development, and that day You had fever, yet despite that, You still came and gave the presentation—just to inspire devotees and bless the leaders who had come from all over the world. Even some of Your personal servants were unaware that You had gone to the ILS!

Your deep attachment to fulfilling Śrīla Prabhupāda’s and the previous ācāryas' instructions is truly astonishing. There are so many examples, but I would like to highlight just a couple:

  1. Navadvīpa-maṇḍala Parikramā
You are firmly convinced in the words of Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura, who said that:
"By performing Navadvīpa-maṇḍala Parikramā, the whole world will be benefited."
Because of this conviction, You enthusiastically encourage all devotees to participate in the parikramā.

I remember doing this parikramā in 2006, before You suffered the fatal stroke. Walking alongside You, I saw how You personally cared for all the devotees—checking if they needed medicines, ensuring prasādam was suitable, conducting public programs in the evenings, and staying with the devotees in tents.

    One particular memory stands out:
One night, it rained heavily, and the devotees’ tents were blown away. In the middle of the night, You personally came and helped them.

Now, almost twenty years later, I had the blessing to participate again. The parikramā has now grown into seven groups, and I decided to join the South Indian group. When I mentioned this to You after completion, You immediately asked about my experience—especially about the prasādam!

I was amazed to see how the facilities at the camp sites have greatly improved, and now, in almost all places, we have our own dedicated camp sites. This is all due to Your vision and Your deep desire to fulfill the instructions of the previous ācāryas.

  2. Installation of Lord Caitanya’s Lotus Footprints
Another project You have taken up very seriously is the installation of Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu’s lotus footprints in all the places He visited—fulfilling the desire of Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura.

Last year, I had the great fortune of participating in some of these installations in Vraja-bhūmi. This year, You are doing it in South India, and though I longed to be there, my responsibilities did not allow it.

You are performing this wonderful service so that future generations can remember Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu’s pastimes and receive His unlimited blessings.

Currently, You are traveling in South India, and as You mentioned in Your class, You are personally visiting the devotees to bless them.

Your desire to travel all over the world and distribute the mercy of Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu is very, very strong.

Recently, when I saw You in Māyāpur, You were asking:
"What will the weather be like in Perth in April?"
You also mentioned that You have not visited Australia in nine years and that You are looking forward to seeing the devotees there.

Now, You are embarking on another important project—convincing the GBC and advocating Śrīla Prabhupāda’s instruction to make many ācāryas, so that Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu’s movement can expand unlimitedly and His mercy can reach every corner of the world.

Another important instruction You constantly emphasize is studying Śrīla Prabhupāda’s books.
You are personally leading by example by studying and completing all the exams—receiving Bhakti-śāstrī, Bhakti-vaibhava, Bhakti-vedānta degrees, all with high distinction.

Thank You for engaging me despite my disqualifications and impurities. You have given me an instruction, and I do not know how to fulfill it, but I have strong faith that Your words will never go in vain.

On this most auspicious day, I fall at Your lotus feet and beg for Your mercy
so that I may become a sincere servant of Yours.

Please, please shower Your mercy upon this lowly servant and grant me the intelligence to develop even a drop of faith and a drop of the determination that You have in serving Śrīla Prabhupāda and Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu.

Your insignificant servant,

Sītā Rāma Lakṣmaṇa Dāsa
