Vyāsa-pūjā 2025

Shweta Indirala (Sydney - Australia)

Hare Kṛṣṇa, Dear Guru Mahārāja,

Please accept my respectful obeisances at your divine feet. All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda! All glories to you, Śrīla Gurudeva!

Guru Mahārāja, I had the pleasure of seeing you in Māyāpur last month and listening to your divine lectures on the Lotus rooftop. What a joy it was to see you face-to-face and witness your enthusiasm to bless all your devotees despite so many constraints. On a day when you had long meetings and dialysis, you still gave a class in the evening—teaching us what unwavering dedication and commitment to serving the Guru’s instructions looks like at every moment of life. Despite your own pain and challenges, you continue to keep us motivated and enthusiastic in Kṛṣṇa consciousness.

By your mercy, I have recently completed the Bhakti-vṛkṣa course and, with your continued blessings, I hope to soon enroll in the Bhakti-śāstrī course under the guidance of Anandamaya Gopīnath dāsa Prabhu and Śrīguru Bhakti-devī dāsī Mātaji.

Guru Mahārāja, I am struggling a lot to manage my daily sādhana. I often feel that when I focus deeply on one task, I end up rushing through others, not delivering my duties sincerely, and I find it difficult to manage my time effectively. Please bestow your mercy upon me so that I may carry out my daily devotional service properly and efficiently.

By your mercy, and the guidance of my mentors, I have started teaching children and singing kīrtanas within our Bhakti-vṛkṣa groups and Dāmodara home programs—services I never thought I would have the courage or ability to do.

With your blessings, Guru Mahārāja, I have also ventured into preparing many new recipes and cuisines for Bhakti-vṛkṣa devotees and Chappan Bhoga offerings. I am constantly learning and experimenting in various areas of Kṛṣṇa consciousness to serve you, dear Guru Mahārāja, and the divine Lordships in newer and more meaningful ways.

Listening to your transcendental lectures has inspired me to read Śrīla Prabhupāda’s books daily and reflect on my behavior and mindset through the lens of your teachings. I especially felt your strong presence while I was in India, surrounded by non-devotee relatives who were confused and sometimes unhappy with my strict eating habits. During that time, my young children ensured I always had your photo in my purse wherever I went. That photo was our shield, your presence a protective force that gave us strength. With your mercy, we were able to avoid unfavorable situations and remain steady in our Kṛṣṇa conscious path, staying united as a family and transcending mundane distractions.

Guru Mahārāja, thank you for always blessing us and continuously bringing us closer to Kṛṣṇa. My heartfelt prayers are always offered to Lord Narasiṁhadeva for your divine protection, health, and well-being.

Your lazy but sheltered disciple,
Shweta Indirala
