Vyāsa-pūjā 2025

Naṭavara Gopeśa Dāsa ( - India)

Hare Kṛṣṇa!
Daṇḍavat Praṇāma, Guru Mahārāja!

Please accept my humble obeisances unto your lotus feet.

All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!
All glories to Guru and Gaurāṅga!

Guru Mahārāja,

I am unfortunate for not realizing how fortunate we are to receive your mercy. It was only in Dvāpara-yuga that Lord Kṛṣṇa Himself appeared, and just after that, in Kali-yuga, 500 years ago, Lord Caitanya descended. More recently, Śrīla Prabhupāda and his disciples set up everything for us, and you accepted me as your disciple.

What a golden opportunity I have before me to execute devotional service—it is unimaginable. It is only because of your hard work and sincerity that our good fortune arises. We chant, hear, and read, but we remain alive in Kṛṣṇa consciousness because you continuously pray to Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Mādhava for us.

You have endured unbearable pain beyond our imagination, yet you never wavered. You are unstoppable. But when you see others in distress, your heart melts, showing how much concern you have for us. You always make yourself available to everyone—even late at night, without hesitation. Whenever I hear your lectures and pastimes, I feel enthusiastic and gain strength to progress in my spiritual life.

Once, H.G. Bhadracaru Prabhu brought a Sanskrit scholar who composed eight beautiful verses glorifying you, Guru Mahārāja. As he was reciting the verses, you were drinking water and wiping yourself with a tissue. The scholar wondered whether you were listening or not. When he finished, you said, "There was a mistake in the fifth verse where you mentioned that I am ready to take the sins of my disciples. Please correct it to say that I am ready to take the sins of the whole world." The Sanskrit scholar was shocked by this.

This shows that your compassion knows no limits, and you are equal to everyone.

Despite being so fortunate to receive your mercy, I am still not doing enough to help you spread this movement. I beg for your forgiveness for not doing more to please you. Please pray for me so that I may remain enthusiastic and determined and share your mercy with others. Otherwise, I have no qualification to convince anyone.

Praying for your good health at the lotus feet of Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Mādhava, Pañca-tattva, and Lord Nṛsiṁhadeva so that you may continue to uplift fallen souls like me.

Your insignificant servant,
Natavara Gopeśa Dāsa
