My Dearest Guru Mahārāja,
Please accept my most humble obeisances at your lotus feet.
All glories to His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Śrīla Prabhupāda!
All glories unto Your Divine Self!
I understand that today is the final day to prepare for your Vyāsa-pūjā celebrations. Amidst various disturbances, I have sat down to write to you.
After nearly twenty-two years of not following the regulative principles and criticizing Vaiṣṇavas with my tongue, I have resolved to stop such behavior once and for all. For the past six years, I have been going to sleep early and waking at 2:00 a.m. so that I can chant my sixteen rounds, plus two additional rounds for your health.
I also chant “Ugraṁ vīraṁ” to Lord Śrī Nṛsiṁhadeva for your continued good health and as a means to obtain victory over my offenses against the holy name of the Lord. I sincerely hope you are receiving the full spiritual benefit.
Since relocating from Gaurāṅgadeśa to Śrī Māyāpur-dhāma, I have also been endeavoring to attend maṅgala-ārati daily. I am truly sorry for the mistakes I have made and humbly beg for your forgiveness for all offenses committed thus far. I have also minimized social interaction to avoid committing further offenses.
I offer my heartfelt prayers for your continued success in fulfilling the mission of Śrīla Prabhupāda in spreading this divine movement.
I have resigned from my service as the Office Manager in your Māyāpur office and am presently in Canada with my daughter. Upon my return to Māyāpur at the end of July 2025, I will be traveling to Chennai to bring my 85-year-old mother back to Māyāpur. Thereafter, I plan to join the Bhaktivedānta National School in Māyāpur.
On your Vyāsa-pūjā, I offer my heartfelt wishes for your well-being and your ever-victorious service to Śrīla Prabhupāda.
Thanking you,
Your eternal servant always,
Rāmananda Gaura Dāsa
