Dear Guru Mahārāja,
Please accept my most respectful and humble obeisances at your lotus feet.
On this most auspicious day of your appearance, I want to first thank you for all that you have given me. My daily realization is that without you, my life certainly would not be the same.
The very fact that I am engaged in the service of Śrī Kṛṣṇa, connected to Śrīla Prabhupāda’s ISKCON, a manifestation of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu’s saṅkīrtana movement, shows the vast amount of mercy you have given me.
I am so grateful to you, Guru Mahārāja, for the chance to serve you eternally, as we promised you when you very mercifully accepted us as your disciples.
Guru Mahārāja, you have allowed me to come close enough to witness your magnanimous personality.
Your Divine Grace is not only charismatic, knowledgeable, energetic, and affectionate, possessing the qualities of great souls, but you also go the extra mile to help others connect to Śrīla Prabhupāda and Kṛṣṇa. Whoever meets you cannot help but admire your devotional attitude and your commitment to working tirelessly for the Supreme Lord and your Divine Master.
Guru Mahārāja, you are the perfect guru, spiritual father, and well-wishing friend. You have turned us towards Kṛṣṇa, despite our initial reluctance and persistent attachment to material life.
All this is only because of your tireless endeavors to help us advance spiritually. There is absolutely nothing lacking in your role as our spiritual master.
You have engaged me in the service of Disciple Care for Latin America, and I can see how many blessings are included in this service under your instructions. Having the immense fortune to observe you and witness how deeply you care for all your spiritual sons and daughters around the world—where each and every one of us is important to you—reveals your immeasurable mercy.
Guru Mahārāja, it is amazing to see how much effort you put in every single day, despite your health condition, to reach out to all of us—not only through your classes but also in a deeply personal way.
One day, you said:
"One thing is having disciples; another thing is taking care of them."
And that is why Your Divine Grace has created this system of Disciple Care, where all disciples around the world can feel connected with you through your instructions and through service. All this is thanks to your unlimited mercy, Guru Mahārāja.
On this day, I renew my commitment to serve you forever, to assist you in your service to Śrīla Prabhupāda. This is my goal in life.
Please, Guru Mahārāja, kindly accept my honest repentance for all the mistakes and offenses I have committed. If you so desire, please allow me to continue serving you—even life after life.
Your eternal, unworthy aspirant servant,
Gaṇatoṣitā Devī Dāsī
