Vyāsa-pūjā 2025

Gaura Bhakta-jīvana Dāsa (West Bengal (all) - India)

Hare Kṛṣṇa Guru Mahārāja,

Please accept my most humble obeisances. All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.

Dear Guru Mahārāja,

I have attained this human form of life after millions of births, and it is my great fortune that Kṛṣṇa has given me shelter under your divine lotus feet. You are mercy personified. You have taken the mission of Lord Caitanya to every nook and corner of the world. Despite facing countless challenges, you never gave up.

As I embark on this great service, I am beginning to realize how many challenges you have undertaken for our deliverance. You are unlimitedly compassionate and merciful. You have given this fallen Kali-yuga creature shelter. This is your causeless mercy.

As Lord Gaurāṅga's eternal associate, you always speak of Lord Gauracandra. You always keep Śrīla Prabhupāda's instructions in your heart. We have heard about prema-bhakti, but when we see you speak about Śrī Śrī Pañca-tattva, Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Mādhava, and Śrīla Prabhupāda, despite so many physical challenges, with so much love and affection, we realize what prema-bhakti actually looks like.

Even in this diseased body, you are preaching tirelessly, enduring so much suffering—only for the pleasure of Śrīla Prabhupāda and for the benefit of the entire world. The purpose of your advent in this material world is to reduce the material fever and distribute the love of Godhead.

Narottama dāsa Ṭhākura has sung that one needs to bathe in the Gaṅgā to become purified, but simply by the darśana of a pure devotee, one becomes completely purified. You reside in the heart of Lord Govinda, and Lord Govinda also declares that you are always in His heart. You have kindly descended to take us all back to Godhead, but due to my dull-headedness, I am not able to serve you properly. Please kindly relieve me of this material fever and engage me in the glorious service of Lord Caitanya's and Lord Nityānanda's saṅkīrtana party.

"jogyatā-vicāre, kichu nāhi pāi, tomāra karuṇā-sāra
karuṇā nā hoile, kāndiyā kāndiyā, prāṇa nā rākhibo āra"
(Gurudeva! Kṛpā Bindu Diyā)

My dear Guru Mahārāja, please forgive me for any offenses I may have committed unto your lotus feet, and please engage this fallen conditioned soul in your divine service.

Hare Kṛṣṇa.

Your insignificant spiritual son,
Gaura Bhaktajīvana dāsa (dīkṣā)
Jaigaon, India
