Gratitude to our Guru Mahārāja:
When I came to Qatar, I first saw the Kṛṣṇa-kathā-deśa (KKD) devotees giving classes to all the assembled devotees. After seeing that, I was very impressed and inspired to ask more about it. Since then, I have been continuously associating with them. By that mercy, I eventually received the opportunity to chant the holy name, recite the mantra, and take initiation.
Once, when we were in Bahrain, Guru Mahārāja was giving special blessings to everyone. Guru Mahārāja said, “Whoever chants at least one round, come forward and aspire for initiation.” We all received his mercy. Guru Mahārāja even called my daughter and personally gave her his blessings.
On the auspicious day of my Harināma initiation, I felt it was one of the most sacred and blessed moments in my life. By your causeless mercy, Guru Mahārāja, I have received a kind and generous spiritual master like you.
Personal Realization:
By the blessings given to me by Guru Mahārāja, I was able to inspire my mother to chant the mahā-mantra. This was a moment of immense mercy and fulfillment for me.
Commitment:
Before I received initiation, I had already spoken to someone about Bhagavān. I then came and sat to pray in front of Guru Mahārāja, and he immediately showered his blessings upon me.
I spoke to two family members about Kṛṣṇa consciousness, and by your mercy, they also started chanting, reading scriptures, and performing deity worship.
Vow:
Now that I have again started participating in Bhakti-vṛkṣa (BV), Guru Mahārāja, I humbly beg your blessings. As devotees advance in their understanding of Kṛṣṇa, I would like to connect them to my śikṣā-guru and help them grow further.
Prayers:
gurudeva!
kṛpā-bindu diyā, koro’ ei dāse,
tṛṇāpekṣā ati hīna
sakala sahane, bala diyā koro’,
nija-māne spṛhā-hīna
Gurudeva, give to this servant just one drop of your mercy.
I am lower than a blade of grass.
Please give me the strength to tolerate everything,
And let me become free from all material desires.
Your servant,
Lalita Mādhava-priyā Devī Dāsī
