Vyāsa-pūjā 2025

Gaṇāśraya Nitāi Dāsa and Gītāñjalī Jāhnavā Devī Dāsī (Nottingham - United Kingdom)

Dearest Guru-deva,

Please accept our respectful obeisances at your lotus feet.
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.
All glories to you, Guru-deva, and all glories to your auspicious appearance day.

On the auspicious occasion of your 76th Vyāsa-pūjā, we humbly offer our heartfelt prayers to Śrī Śrī Pañca-tattva, Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Mādhava Aṣṭa-sakhī, Śrī Śrī Narasiṁha-deva, and Śrī Śrī Jagannātha, Baladeva, Subhadrā Mahārāṇī, beseeching Them to protect and strengthen our beloved Guru Mahārāja from all illness.

Currently, we are serving in Nottingham, where we conduct a weekly Nāma-haṭṭa program, children’s programs, Food for Life distribution, and outreach initiatives. As part of our outreach, we visit people's homes to engage them in kīrtana and Kṛṣṇa-kathā.

Last year, my wife, Geethāñjalī Janavā-devī dāsī, and I enrolled in the Bhakti-śāstrī course organized by Viśāl Gaurāṅga Prabhu through the Māyāpur Institute, which we will complete in two months. These sessions have been incredibly enriching, and we are grateful for your encouragement, Guru Mahārāja.

We regularly visit ISKCON Leicester, ISKCON Stoke-on-Trent, and occasionally Bhaktivedānta Manor and Soho Street Temple in London, especially during festivals. Whenever possible, I attend your Caitanya-līlā classes, which are always spiritually uplifting.

For the past few years, I have been daily reciting the Nṛsiṁha-kavaca, the 108 names of Lord Narasiṁha-deva, and the Ugraṁ vīram prayers for your health, Guru Mahārāja. Additionally, I circumambulate Tulasī Mahārāṇī four extra times and chant two extra rounds daily for your well-being. My wife also follows these practices whenever she is not working, although her long shifts sometimes prevent regularity.

By your divine blessings, we successfully organized Nottingham’s first-ever Ratha-yātrā last year. Expecting around 400 attendees, we were overwhelmed when more than 1,400 devotees participated, receiving the mercy of Lord Jagannātha and honoring prasādam. This year, by your grace, we have secured June 8th for the Ratha-yātrā again. Kindly bless us so that we may organize it successfully and glorify the Lord on an even greater scale.

We continue to pray fervently to Śrī Śrī Gaura-Nitāi for our beloved Guru-deva’s long life and good health.
We are begging Gaura-Nitāi to bless our Guru-deva with a very long life.

Your most insignificant servants,
Gāṇaśraya Nitāi dāsa Ācārya & Gītāñjalī Jāhnavā-devī dāsī
