Hare Kṛṣṇa, Guru Mahārāja,
Please accept my humble obeisances.
I am writing for your Vyāsa-pūjā for the first time. I had my first darśana of you during your 75th Vyāsa-pūjā. When you came on stage, the first thing you did was show concern for the devotees. You asked whether prasādam had been arranged for all the devotees, what items were included in the prasādam, and whether there was enough for everyone. You even had the prasādam brought to the stage to check it yourself.
A few days ago, when you were in the ICU, the doctors advised you to rest, but instead of taking care of yourself, you held meetings with the leaders. Guru Mahārāja, you are extremely merciful. On December 21, 2024, during the JSSS meeting, devotees shared how you used to go on morning walks with them and take nīma tablets. When devotees asked about it, you lovingly called them "gulāb-jāmun prasādam" and shared them with everyone, along with warm go-mūtra.
During parikramā, whenever mātaījīs and prabhujīs lagged behind, you would slow down by reading advertisement boards along the way so that they could catch up. You always took care of all the devotees. I have also seen your old kīrtana videos and listened to them—your kīrtanas are incredibly beautiful. Guru Mahārāja, you are extremely kind and compassionate.
Śrīla Jayapatākā Swāmī Guru Mahārāja kī jaya!
