Hare Kṛṣṇa
Daṇḍavat praṇāma, Gurumahārāja
Kindly accept my humble offering.
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.
All glories to Śrīla Gurudeva.
Dear Gurumahārāja,
I am not capable enough to say anything, but still, I will try.
Gurumahārāja, wherever I look in my life, you are everywhere, and every part of my life has been shaped by you.
You know very well that my life has been full of hardship and struggle, but it is you alone, Gurumahārāja, who has saved me every time. Not just saved me—you made me a winner every time. I am nothing without you; it is only by your mercy that I am able to stand on my feet. Otherwise, I would have been finished. Every month I have survived—and am still surviving—only because of you.
Whenever things seem impossible, you perform a miracle and make them possible. When there is hardship, you make it look simple. Whenever I pray to you, Gurumahārāja, you always help me. Thank you so much for all of this. You have completed me—otherwise, I would not have survived thus far.
I also want to thank you for the annaprāśana of my daughter and for allowing us to take your darśana and receive your blessings. Even though your time is so precious and limited, you still gave us your association—the most valuable moment of my life—to have your darśana from very near.
I also want to thank my śikṣā-guru, HG Amṛteśa Prabhu-jī, through whom we were able to meet you. Otherwise, it would not have been possible. Thank you, Prabhu-jī, for connecting me with Guru Mahārāja. If I were not under Guru Mahārāja’s shelter, I would not have survived.
Guru Mahārāja, you have given me everything. Now it is my duty to serve you in the best way possible. I promise I will do whatever I can, in the best possible way, to serve you. In today’s lecture, you said that the best way to please you is to preach, so I will do whatever I can to preach to others, that I may please you.
I have committed many aparādhas at your lotus feet. Kindly be merciful and forgive me. I promise I will not repeat them again.
Your insignificant servant,
Ānandamaya Kṛṣṇacandra dāsa
