Hare Kṛṣṇa. Dandavat praṇāma to Guru Mahārāja.
Please accept my humble obeisances at your lotus feet.
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.
All glories to His Holiness Jayapatākā Swami Guru Mahārāja.
I have no qualifications to glorify Guru Mahārāja. I am a fallen soul. I was not aware of hari-nāma and bhakti before receiving shelter. When I listened to the lectures of my śikṣā-guru, HG Amriteśa Kṛṣṇa dāsa Prabhujī, about Bhagavad-gītā, Śrīla Prabhupāda, and Guru Mahārāja, it changed me completely.
It is your causeless mercy that this fallen soul—completely engrossed in material life—came to understand that the real purpose of life is to practice Kṛṣṇa consciousness.
Guru Mahārāja, when I listened to and read your biography, I came to know that you are truly a messenger of the Lord, who descended into this material world to save the patita-ātmās. You are the eternal associate of Gaurāṅga Mahāprabhu.
On the auspicious occasion of your 76th Vyāsa-pūjā, I humbly admit that I have no ability to properly glorify you. Dear Guru Mahārāja, on the day of my initiation, when I met you and received blessings at your lotus feet, I cried deeply, realizing how far I had been from the shelter of spiritual life. Whatever instructions you have given, I am sincerely trying to follow—yet I fall short.
Please, shower your mercy upon me so that I may faithfully follow your instructions and serve at your lotus feet. I continually pray to Lord Nṛsiṁhadeva for your good health and happiness so that I may always receive your guidance.
We receive your messages, and within them, immense love radiates. Despite your health challenges, you continue to chant, teach Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, and guide devotees. After successfully initiating over 60,000 disciples, you are still tirelessly spreading hari-nāma and bringing countless fallen souls to Kṛṣṇa consciousness.
I offer heartfelt prayers at the lotus feet of Lord Jagannātha for your good health and spiritual happiness. Kindly bestow your blessings and mercy upon me, so that I may remain forever your servant, devoted to you and Gaurāṅga, and surrendered to your divine guidance.
Your humble servant,
Hemarūpa Sācīsuta dāsa
