Dear Guru Mahārāja,
I am a very insignificant and disqualified person, unfit to sufficiently glorify your divine qualities. I am like a small bird attempting to empty the vast ocean by carrying mere drops of water to the shore.
As stated in Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 4.22.47—"yair īdṛśī..."—this verse aptly describes my inability to properly express gratitude for your divine mercy, for giving me shelter at your lotus feet.
Since the time of my initiation, I have tangibly felt your causeless mercy at every step of my spiritual journey.
Despite facing immense health challenges, you never stop preaching the glorious message of Gaurāṅga Mahāprabhu. Every breath of your life is offered in dedication to fulfilling the dream of your Guru Mahārāja, Śrīla Prabhupāda. Through your unbounded compassion and mercy, you have transformed the lives of countless fallen souls. Truly, you are an ocean of inspiration for all of us.
I beg for your forgiveness for all offenses I have committed at your lotus feet.
I solemnly promise to follow all the divine instructions you mercifully gave me at the time of initiation—until my very last breath—and to assist in fulfilling your mission to the best of my ability.
On this most auspicious occasion of your 76th Vyāsa-pūjā, I pray at the lotus feet of Lord Jagannātha, Baladeva, Subhadrā Mahārāṇī, and Sudarśana Mahārāja to bestow you with good health and immense strength, so that all your transcendental desires may be fulfilled.
I humbly beg for your mercy, so that I may become an instrument in helping to accomplish your divine mission.
All glories to Guru Mahārāja!
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!
Your insignificant humble servant,
Nīlācala-candra Jagannātha Dāsa
