Most Beloved Guru Mahārāja,
His Divine Grace Jayapatākā Svāmī,
Please accept my most respectful obeisances unto Your lotus feet, where Your mercy is tangibly felt and the shade of relief from material sufferings is bestowed.
Our beloved Guru Mahārāja, we witness in you an incredible spiritual reservoir of strength and determination in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, simply by observing how you are always striving to fulfill all of Śrīla Prabhupāda’s desires in service to Śrī Kṛṣṇa.
You are a fountain of immense strength, and your determination triumphs over all conditions of this material world. As your spiritual children, we gain deeper conviction each day by watching how you teach us to traverse the difficult and obscured paths of life—simply by staying firmly fixed in our determination to follow your example.
Guru Mahārāja, I have millions of words within me, yet none can truly express the gratitude I feel or describe the security I experience even amidst the endless disturbances that arise in this material existence. I know that by taking full shelter of you, all these things will pass—just as waves rise and fall in the ocean.
As the time approaches to leave this material world, it seems that more and more obstacles arise. Yet, by simply going day by day—without grand plans and by living each moment as it comes—it becomes easier to endure life’s harshness. Still, my true inspiration lies in seeing how you, Guru Mahārāja, so gracefully handle everything.
Thank you, dear Guru Mahārāja, for your unlimited mercy upon this fallen, conditioned soul who is perpetually getting lost in this world of illusion.
I humbly and respectfully pray to remain just a particle of dust at your lotus feet, where I can serve you in any possible way—especially by sharing this transcendental knowledge of Kṛṣṇa consciousness with everyone I meet.
Thank you for always keeping my head above the waves and for giving me shelter during moments of difficulty and distress.
Guru Mahārāja, you have always lifted me above every obstacle in my life. I bow down to your lotus feet, the source of all strength for those who fully surrender unto your divine shelter.
Thank you millions of times over for accepting me in your refuge.
Yours in service,
Your eternal servant,
Līlāvilāsinī Devī Dāsī
