Vyāsa-pūjā 2025

Priyanshi mishra (Mayapur - India)

oṁ ajñāna-timirāndhasya jñānāñjana-śalākayā
cakṣur unmīlitaṁ yena tasmai śrī-gurave namaḥ

All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!
All glories to you, our beloved Guru Mahārāja!

First of all, I would like to offer my heartfelt congratulations to you on this most auspicious occasion of Vyāsa-pūjā.

I am truly amazed to witness your tireless service in fulfilling the mission of Śrīla Prabhupāda. You have given so much to ISKCON and to all of us. Your efforts in the Śrīdhāma Māyāpur temple project, Śrīpāṭha development, and Vraja-maṇḍala yātrās are monumental in spreading this movement and touching the hearts of countless souls.

In my small way, I try to contribute to your mission by helping others in society and introducing them to Kṛṣṇa consciousness.

When I was new to this Hare Kṛṣṇa movement, I went through a period of distraction and mental stress. But your kind and dedicated disciples held my hand during those difficult times and brought me back. It is only by that mercy that I am here today, connected with ISKCON.

Your preaching has reached even the remote areas of India, places where few knew about ISKCON before. You are truly doing so much for the upliftment of humanity.

I know your health is not as strong as it used to be, but I chant and pray daily for your recovery. May you continue to preach the message of Śrīla Prabhupāda to every corner of the globe. You have already done so much, and still, you continue to inspire.

A humble poem for you, dear Guru Mahārāja:

Hum yaha andhere meṁ,
Āp prakāś ban āye.
Har gire hue jīva ko,
Hāth pakad kar uṭhāye.

Guru ke rūpa meṁ,
Jñāna-jyoti pradān kiye.
Ek pitā ke rūpa meṁ,
Prema kā sāgar bahāye.

Oh! Jagannātha ke arcaka āp,
Us Guru ke suta ho.
Saṅkīrtana ke prabhāva se,
Jagat ko jagāte chalo.

Hare Kṛṣṇa Hare Kṛṣṇa
Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Hare Hare
Hare Rāma Hare Rāma
Rāma Rāma Hare Hare

In conclusion, I simply want to say:
Get well soon, Guru Mahārāja.
I am deeply thankful to have someone like you in my life.
Daṇḍavat praṇāma at your lotus feet.

Your servant,
Priyanshi Mishra
