Dear Spiritual Father,
With deepest respect, many prayers, and heartfelt love for my Guru Mahārāja,
Please accept my obeisances—koṭi-koṭi praṇāma at your divine lotus feet.
Though I have not yet received dīkṣā from you, nor formal caraṇāśraya, on Śrīla Prabhupāda’s appearance day I received the desire for your shelter in my heart (caraṇ-ākāṅkṣā). I am the only one practicing this path of devotion in my home, and thus, externally it may not have been possible to receive dīkṣā yet. But I know that one day, by your mercy and the mercy of Śrī Gaurāṅga, it will be possible.
Even though I have not formally received dīkṣā, I know that the moment I accepted you in my heart as my dīkṣā-guru—my spiritual father—you accepted me as your spiritual daughter.
Please bless me so that I may develop my bhakti in such a pure and sincere way that you will never feel any regret in accepting me as your spiritual daughter.
Śrīla Guru Mahārāja, I want you to always stay with me. I make so many mistakes. I don’t know anything. I often hurt others, knowingly or unknowingly—so please, scold me. Correct me.
All I want is to serve you, Guru Mahārāja. Please, please, please—give me your service. Give me the opportunity to serve you and the Vaiṣṇavas.
I am begging for your mercy.
Your aspiring servant and spiritual daughter,
Isha Adhikari
