Dear Guru Mahārāja,
Please accept my humble and respectful obeisances unto your divine lotus feet.
It is my great fortune that I have this opportunity to glorify you, although I am not qualified to speak about your limitless glories.
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!
All glories to Your Divine Grace!
Wishing you the most blessed 76th Vyāsa-pūjā Celebration of your Divine Grace.

Guru Mahārāja, currently, I am working in a software company in New Town, and I completed my engineering last year from Durgapur. During my time there, I had the opportunity to stay in the association of devotees under the guidance of HG Nitāi Candra Nimāi Prabhu. At present, I am fortunate to be in the association of HG Mahadham Vrindavan Prabhu.
I am reading Śrīla Prabhupāda's books, especially Teachings of Lord Kapila, and regularly listening to the lectures of His Divine Grace Śrīla Prabhupāda, your nectarean Saturday lectures, and HG Radheshyam Prabhu. Occasionally, by the mercy of HG Mahadham Vrindavan Prabhu, I go out to distribute Śrīla Prabhupāda’s books. I have also done some follow-up with college students for one-time programs.
After shifting to Kolkata, I have not been able to serve in Mayapur BACE(Durgapur). The devotees from Durgapur have often invited me to give opportunity to serve, but I did not go due to various career desires. I feel I have not been able to fully surrender to them, and I am sorry for that.
I must also admit that I have not made enough effort to hear from you or about you, nor have I been consistent in my chanting and reading. As a result, I have failed to properly understand the mood of Śrīla Prabhupāda and our ācāryas. Even in the association of such exalted Vaiṣṇavas, I find myself committing the same mistakes repeatedly.
Guru Mahārāja, as mercy is always causeless, I must acknowledge that whatever little service I am able to render is only due to the mercy of the Vaiṣṇavas. Yet, I often lack gratitude towards them. At times, I find faults in devotees, try to avoid service and association, and even feel envious when I see others doing more service or having better sādhana than myself. I am a constant offender at the lotus feet of all the Vaiṣṇavas and the Holy Name.
On this most auspicious occasion of your Vyāsa-pūjā, I beg for your causeless mercy so that I may begin to understand your unlimited glories, and thereby increase my appreciation, dedication, and gratefulness towards you.
Your most insignificant servant,
Rishav Das(Sheltered disciple)
