My dear spiritual father His Holiness Jayapatākā Swami Guru Mahārāja,

I offer my respectful obeisances unto your lotus feet on the auspicious occasion of your 76th Vyāsa-pūjā celebration. All glories to your lotus feet! All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!

My dear spiritual father, it’s only by your causeless mercy I am able to practice spirituality daily. I am very indebted your causeless mercy to accept me as your disciple.

Dear Father,

As a fallen soul, I often struggle to maintain a balance between my devotion (Bhakti) and material responsibilities. I frequently find excuses for my inability to deepen my connection with you and continually fall short as a disciple—failing to follow your instructions and imbibe the spirit of service and the divine qualities you embody.

Though the services I render are but a mere drop in the vast ocean, I still let pride creep in over these insignificant efforts. You are a glorious master, yet I have chosen the path of an unchaste disciple.  Still, it is your powerful lectures and unwavering dedication to fulfilling Srila Prabhupada’s mission that continue to inspire this worthless soul to persevere on the path of Krishna Consciousness.

You showed me how compassionately you reciprocate with the desires of your disciples. This was on October 2nd, 2023, when you were in Bangalore, giving initiation at the Narasimha Giridhari Mandir temple. I had arrived at the temple early, eager just to catch a glimpse of you in person. But the crowd was immense, and I could only get your darshan from a distance, standing among many others.
So many of your beloved sons and daughters were near you, serving closely, and deep within my heart I longed for the same—when would I get a chance to be that close and offer some personal service?

I returned home that afternoon with a tinge of disappointment in my heart. But to my surprise, by evening I received a call from my mentor asking if I could take up the night service during your stay. My heart leapt—I was overwhelmed with joy and gratitude.

That night became one of the most cherished moments of my life, Guru Maharaja. I had the fortune to stand by your side, serve you dosas, hang your clothes to dry, and massage your lotus feet. That experience etched a deep realization in me—that sincere spiritual desires, when offered with a humble heart, are always reciprocated in time.

Dear Father,
By your blessings, I was able to offer a small Gita Course this year at an apartment complex, and by your mercy, it has now grown into a Bhakti Vriksha group. I humbly seek your continued guidance and mercy so I may sincerely follow your instructions and contribute in some small way toward making Bangalore a Krishna Conscious city.

Please bless me so I can follow your shining example in serving one’s spiritual master. It would be my greatest fortune if I could render even an insignificant fraction of the service to you that you offer to Śrīla Prabhupāda with such love and dedication.

Please accept my humble apologies for all my mistakes Guru Mahārāja,

I’m placing all my prayers at your lotus feet and Kindly accept it.
