Dear Śrīla Gurudeva,
On this most auspicious occasion of your 76th Vyāsa-pūjā, I offer my most humble obeisances unto your lotus feet, which are the only shelter for the fallen souls of this Kali-yuga.
You are the true representative of Śrī Vyāsadeva, for you speak the truth of the scriptures with deep realization, but even more, you embody the mercy of Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu. Your heart is filled with boundless compassion.
Though we are most unqualified and sinful,
you extend your mercy without discrimination. Like a loving father,
you tolerate our ignorance, correct our faults, and gently guide us on the path of bhakti. Your compassion is not limited by time, distance, or circumstance— You reach even the darkest corners of our hearts, illuminating them with the light of service and surrender.
You have accepted great hardship for the welfare of others. You travel tirelessly, speak endlessly, and bless continuously,
all so that we may find our way back to the lotus feet of Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa.
Because of your mercy, we have hope.
Because of your compassion, we continue on the path, desiring only to serve you and please you.
On this auspicious day, I pray-
May I become a sincere servant of your mission, May I develop even a fraction of your compassionate nature, And may I always remain under your shelter, birth after birth.
Your insignificant servant,
Padmagandha Syama DD (diksha disciple)
