Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,
Please accept our humble obeisances at the dust of your divine lotus feet. Please allow us to make an attempt to glorify you, as far as our humility and qualifications permit.
Reflecting on life, we become increasingly convinced of how boundless the Lord’s mercy can be! And His mercy consists of sending us such compassionate, exalted souls as yourself so that we can cross the ocean of material suffering, called the material world. Your glory will spread from age to age, despite the darkening hues of Kali-yuga, and sincere souls will be able to take advantage of the boat you have left for us. It is described in Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam (10.2.31) that ācāryas, being compassionate saints, cross the ocean of material existence and reach the spiritual world. However, they do not simply leave. Rather, they leave behind a boat – their teachings, sacred scriptures, and spiritual practices – so that sincere souls seeking the Supreme Refuge can also cross over to the other shore.
By leaving the boat of your teachings, you give every person the opportunity to safely cross the material ocean, even though you are no longer physically present in this world. Your mission in this world is invaluable: just as a pious mother cannot evaluate her child, so spiritual values manifested by you cannot be measured. Without your mission, the lives of all conditioned souls have no meaning. You have given people light and hope for a truly bright future, which flows into eternity, full knowledge, and bliss, in the infinite happiness of love in relationship with the Lord.
Our endless gratitude to you for this and for the opportunity to try to become an instrument in the hands of the guru, who is an instrument in your hands.

Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda! Please accept our obeisances in the dust of your lotus feet.
This year we celebrate the sixtieth anniversary of ISKCON and the fifty-fifth anniversary of your arrival in the USSR. At birth, you were given the name Abhay, meaning “fearless.” With this name the Lord wanted to show us one of your transcendental qualities. After all, to come to the Soviet Union at that time, you had to be truly fearless, even though they tried to dissuade you, trying to convince you that it was dangerous and there was almost nothing to eat. But thanks to your boundless faith in Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa, you came anyway and planted the seeds of devotional service here. Thanks to your disciples, these seeds sprouted and growth continues to this day. Your seeds of bhakti are spreading throughout the world, as stated in the Caitanya-caritāmṛta: “In every home and in every village, people will chant the holy name.” In our city, too, this seed has sprouted.
It is our duty, though we can never fully repay our debt to you, to continue your mission here in Lipetsk, a small city in Central Russia. Although we lack spiritual qualification and maturity, we draw inspiration from the books and lectures you graciously left us, as well as from the examples of your disciples who, despite difficulties, continue to spread Kṛṣṇa consciousness throughout the world.
Thanks to your mercy, a temple has been built in Lipetsk. Deity worship continues, book distribution is underway, Sunday programs, harināma, and Ratha-yātrā are held. Educational programs are held regularly as well as various public programs that introduce people to the chanting of the holy name and the philosophy of Kṛṣṇa consciousness.
In this festive year, I would like to ask for your blessings to grant us the strength and wisdom to maintain the service we carry out, as well as to improve and expand it, to please you, your disciples, and the spiritual teachers in ISKCON.

Please accept our most humble obeisances at your divine lotus feet. All glories to Your Divine Grace on this most auspicious appearance day, in this sixtieth anniversary year of the incorporation of your beloved ISKCON.
Our hearts are filled with gratitude for everything you have given to this fallen world. By your inconceivable compassion, you fulfilled the desire of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu by establishing His saṅkīrtana movement throughout the world. In particular, you desired that His teachings be firmly established in London, and to fulfill this divine purpose, you sent your courageous disciples – three couples, one with a baby – to begin your mission here.
By your personal presence, you established the temple at 7 Bury Place and installed the most beautiful Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Londonīśvara, who continue to enchant the hearts of all living beings. You resided there, gave your transcendental classes, and bestowed your association upon the fortunate souls of London.
With great humility, we submit this offering at your lotus feet, both in gratitude and in an attempt to report how, by your mercy alone, we are endeavoring to serve your mission in London.
Since the time we wrote last year’s Vyāsa-pūjā offering, by your causeless mercy many wonderful and historic developments have taken place. Most significantly, the original home of Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Londonīśvara at 7 Bury Place was put up for sale in November 2025. Understanding the sacred nature of this place – further sanctified by your personal presence, instructions, and pastimes – the devotees felt deeply that it must be reclaimed as your holy tīrtha.
What had seemed impossible for so many years was made possible solely by your mercy. Through the heartfelt sacrifices and generosity of devotees and well-wishers from across the world, this sacred property was secured. Witnessing this, the entire community was struck by excitement.
Now, by your grace, we are no longer restricted to worshiping from outside. We will soon be able to enter those sacred rooms, feeling your presence within those very walls. The upper floors are being carefully refurbished and developed into a Ladies Contemporary Vedic Ashram, where Vaiṣṇavīs will be trained, sheltered, and engaged in your devotional service.
The plan is that the ground floor – where Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Londonīśvara were worshiped and where you personally spoke hari-kathā – will be restored with deep reverence. Every effort will be made to preserve its authenticity and spiritual atmosphere, so that all who enter may tangibly experience the transcendental mood imbued by your presence and come in contact with your eternal legacy. We pray that the ambience of Bury Place may once again be surcharged with devotion, purity, and spiritual intensity, inspiring generations to come.
We humbly pray that we may honor this most precious gift – 7 Bury Place – by always remembering your pastimes there and the sacrifices of your dear disciples who established your mission in London. May we never forget that it is by their surrender, and ultimately by your mercy, that we have received this opportunity for service.
Alongside this offering, efforts to expand your mission continue. Govinda’s restaurant, the central hub of our prasādam distribution, has expanded its service by opening a second location in our Studio 108 building. Whatever success has come is solely due to your divine vision, and we humbly pray that this service may continue to expand for the benefit of all conditioned souls.
Your saṅkīrtana movement, the very life and soul of your mission, continues to flourish in London and has reached new heights. By the unlimited mercy of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, we have been blessed with a successful Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta distribution campaign, through which many full sets have been distributed. At the time of writing, the Bhadra Pūrṇimā campaign is well underway, and the distribution of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam sets has increased significantly. Understanding these sacred books to be your eternal gift to suffering humanity, we are continuing the distribution of the sets, praying that even a small effort in this service may be pleasing to you. Many of these transcendental literatures have been personally distributed on the streets to people from all backgrounds by your sincere followers, who are endeavoring to execute your instructions.
At the same time, we understand that expanding your mission externally must be accompanied by sincere care for your devotees. This culture of Vaiṣṇava care was personally demonstrated by you from the very beginning of ISKCON. By your example, you showed the highest compassion, traveling to the West and giving Kṛṣṇa consciousness to anyone sincere, expressing the need to give “gallons of blood” to make devotees.
Following, in a small way, in your footsteps, we are attempting to cultivate this mood through our Bhakti Steps program. Our Devotee Care team is also striving to support the spiritual lives of senior, sick, and disabled devotees, offering association, kirtan, japa, and prasādam. A dedicated team of devotees has been visiting homes, hospitals, care homes, and arranging temple visits, striving to ensure that no devotee is forgotten. At the same time, efforts are being made to nurture the youngest members of the community through weekly Krishna Club sessions, along with an increasing number of additional programs and opportunities for children.
As part of this effort to strengthen the London community, we are also attempting to recognize and honor the service of Vaiṣṇavīs. Earlier this year, we commemorated the Ladies UK Saṅkīrtana Party, whose dedicated service from 1977 to 1981 contributed significantly to the establishment of your Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa Temple in Soho Street. A commemorative plaque now stands as a reminder of their sacrifice. We have also established a Vaiṣṇavī Ministry to support ladies of all ages and at all stages of spiritual life by providing association, study saṅgas centered on your books, and opportunities for engagement in devotional service.
We humbly pray that these services may continue to develop and expand.
Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda, we remain completely dependent upon your causeless mercy, guidance, and inspiration. Though there is still much to be done to fulfill your desires, you have kindly sent many sincere souls to assist in your mission, for which we are most grateful.
We humbly pray for the strength, sincerity, and purity to serve your instructions without deviation. Kindly bless us that we may become worthy instruments in your hands, able to assist, in some small but united way, in distributing your transcendental knowledge to the suffering souls of this world. On this most auspicious day of your Vyāsa-pūjā, dear Śrīla Prabhupāda, we feel most fortunate to be engaged in the service of ISKCON Málaga and to have this opportunity to glorify you.
You have indeed created a marvelous society with the most wonderful Vaiṣṇavas across the globe. We have been connected with our local center in Málaga for more than forty years, and through this temple, our entire family, though it is scattered across the world, from the Far East to the United States of America.
Upon the slightest willingness on their part to hear about Lord Kṛṣṇa and His glories, we take great joy in introducing them to Kṛṣṇa consciousness and speaking of your marvelous work – the immense sacrifice, determination, and struggle you undertook to establish temples and spread Lord Kṛṣṇa’s holy names throughout the world.
As we ourselves approach the age at which you single-handedly began this movement, we already feel the tiredness, weakness, and a lack of enthusiasm sometimes. Every single day we get the realization of your extraordinary achievements at the age of seventy, when most people in the world would retire from active life.
Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda, you single-handedly and without economic support or help from your godbrothers fearlessly crossed the Atlantic Ocean to preach to the Western countries. You reached the port in Boston and brought forth a spiritual revolution that transformed countless young teenagers’ hearts, making them from hippies to happies!
We have not even reached that age, yet we already feel so limited. Reading about your divine life in the Līlāmṛta so beautifully composed by Satsvarūpa dāsa Goswami, inspires us greatly. Your unwavering determination, purity of purpose, and absolute dedication to your spiritual master remain our guiding light.
We pray at your lotus feet to empower us to such an extent that we may preach to more and more conditioned souls and bring them into Kṛṣṇa consciousness.
Guided by your inspiration, we are doing pretty well at our local temple along with the selfless dedication, encouragement, and collaboration of the local resident devotees, who faithfully participate in all the major programs of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness – from the full morning program, beginning with maṅgala-ārati to the Sunday Love feast and grand festivals like Kṛṣṇa Janmāṣṭamī. Even though we are a small center, by your causeless mercy we are able to attract hundreds of local people, especially during our festivals.
We also have weekly kirtans, harināma-saṅkīrtanas, and devotees engage in book distribution as well as sell your transcendental books online along with devotional paraphernalia. All of this we do is in an effort to spread your mission and the glories of Kṛṣṇa consciousness.
Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda, we humbly pray for your mercy. Please bless us with inspiration, strength, and determination so that we may continue serving in your mission. Without your blessings, we are simply a disturbance, but with your blessings, even our small efforts may become meaningful in your service.

On this most auspicious occasion of your Vyāsa-pūjā, we, the devotees of ISKCON Manchester, offer our heartfelt gratitude for your unlimited mercy. By your compassion, the holy name of Lord Kṛṣṇa has reached this important city of Manchester, and we have been given the opportunity to engage in devotional service.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, whatever service we are able to perform is only by following your instructions and taking shelter of your teachings. You have given us a complete process for spiritual life through your books, by your example, and in the society you established. We are simply trying, in our own imperfect way, to assist in your mission.
Inspired by your emphasis on congregational chanting, we regularly come together to chant the holy names. Each month, devotees participate in public chanting and book distribution, trying to share your teachings with sincerity. Remembering your instruction, “Book distribution is the most important activity in our Society” (letter to Rupanuga, 28 December 1974), we continue this service with whatever capacity we have. By your mercy, this past year many people have received your books, and we have been able to distribute approximately 5,000 copies. We also distributed around 2,000 devotional calendars, hoping to bring remembrance of Kṛṣṇa into people’s daily lives.
For the first time, we were able to participate in the “Be a Gardener” campaign and, by your mercy, exceeded our pledge in distributing sets of Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta. We are also taking part in the Bhadra campaign and are steadily progressing in that service.
Understanding the importance you placed on education, we offer a Bhakti Śāstrī certificate course, where devotees study your books in a systematic way. At present, around twenty devotees are enrolled. Alongside this, regular study groups, mentorship programs, and courses such as the ISKCON Disciple Course are helping devotees deepen their understanding. As you instructed, “These books are the basis; our preaching is the essence,” (letter to Hamsaduta, 3 December 1968) – we are trying to keep this foundation central to all our efforts.
By your mercy, several devotees have taken further steps in their spiritual lives and accepted initiation, strengthening their commitment to devotional service. We pray that we may remain faithful to your instructions and continue progressing under your guidance.
Our temple programs, including regular Sunday gatherings and weekly morning classes, are centered on hearing and discussing your books in devotee association. In a spirit of cooperation, devotees serve in various ways, supporting festivals and assisting other communities when opportunities arise, following your instruction that our love for you will be shown by how much we cooperate to keep this institution together (letter to Karandhara, 18 October 1973). We are especially grateful for the sincere efforts of the many volunteers who help organize and support these programs.
As the congregation grows, many festivals are held in hired venues to accommodate increasing participation. Each year, we celebrate Ratha-yātrā and other festivals, giving many people the opportunity to take part in kirtan, hear your teachings, and receive spiritual benefit. By your mercy, many thousands have also received prasādam over the past year.
We are also trying to support nearby congregations in surrounding towns around Manchester through participation in local programs, mentorship, and devotional education, helping to encourage their development in Kṛṣṇa consciousness.
In a spirit of loving cooperation, devotees from Manchester annually take time to assist in cooking for the Birmingham 24-hour kirtan festival. Devotees also travel together, filling several coaches, to participate in the London Ratha-yātrā as a joyful opportunity to serve and be part of the wider mission.
We are also trying to reach newcomers and the local community through our Sacred Lounge program in the city center, where people are invited to experience Kṛṣṇa consciousness through chanting, spiritual discussion, and distribution of prasādam. By your causeless mercy, new people are gradually becoming interested and connecting with devotional life. Regular youth preaching programs are also being conducted at the university in our town, and by your grace many students are becoming interested in Kṛṣṇa consciousness through these efforts.
As our congregation continues to grow, we are fully aware of the need to better accommodate the devotees and expand opportunities for service. With this understanding, we are actively working toward securing a larger temple facility, while also exploring how the current temple may be expanded. We pray for your guidance and mercy so that these efforts may be carried out in a way that pleases you and supports the continued growth of your mission in Manchester.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, although we are limited in many ways, you have kindly engaged us in your mission. We pray that we may always remain your servants, following your instructions without deviation, and working together to spread Kṛṣṇa consciousness for your pleasure. On this most auspicious day of your Vyāsa-pūjā, we, your followers in Moscow, Russia, offer our most humble obeisances at your lotus feet. All glories to Your Divine Grace.
Today we celebrate the sacred day of your appearance in this world. For us, this day holds a special, historical significance, as this year marks a double jubilee – the fifty-fifth anniversary of your arrival in Moscow and the fifty-fifth year of the formation of the Vaiṣṇava community in Russia and the CIS countries.
In 1971, you visited Moscow for a few days – a journey that was both risky and incredibly difficult. Upon learning of your plans, some devotees tried to dissuade you, suggesting a vacation in Hawaii to engage in book translations. They sent messages that the mango season was beginning. Śrīla Prabhupāda, your reply was immortal: “Preaching in the snows of Russia is far sweeter than any mangoes!”
Fifty-five years ago, fulfilling the order of your spiritual master, you fearlessly stepped onto Moscow’s soil. At a time when spiritual inquiry was forbidden, you brought here the greatest treasure – bhakti, pure devotional service to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Śrī Kṛṣṇa. You planted a seed of faith that, against all obstacles, has sprouted and grown into a mighty saṅkīrtana movement of Lord Caitanya, its branches now spread throughout Russia.
By your mercy and the tireless efforts of your disciples and followers, that seed has grown into a thriving Vaiṣṇava community. We gratefully remember your visit to Moscow and look with sincere gratitude at every available picture from your time here. Today, the Bhagavad-gītā, Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, and all your books are easily accessible throughout Russia. We are proud that during the last visit of the President of Russia to India, he was gifted a copy of Bhagavad-gītā As It Is in Russian language by the Prime Minister of India. The picture of Mr. Modi presenting the Gītā to President Putin was shared worldwide.
Because of your purity, you were able to attract thousands of conditioned souls to the path of pure devotional service. You were always humble and gentle in dealing with others. You gave the medicine by which suffering humanity can be cured – the Hare Kṛṣṇa mahā-mantra.
You gave us not just a philosophy, but a practical path to spiritual life based on chanting the holy names:
Hare Kṛṣṇa Hare Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Hare Hare
Hare Rāma Hare Rāma, Rāma Rāma Hare Hare.
Today we proudly witness the fruits of your preaching. Throughout Russia – from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok – ISKCON temples and centers stand where thousands of devotees gather to glorify the Lord. Millions of your books in Russian have found their readers, igniting the fire of knowledge and love of God in people’s hearts. Your teachings have become an integral part of our country’s spiritual culture.
You often stated that as long as book distribution goes on, you would live forever. Through your Bhaktivedanta purports, you continue to preach to the conditioned souls. Like Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu, you have converted so many atheists and impersonalists to the path of devotional service. As Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura stated, a Vaiṣṇava is recognized by his preaching work. Your books will continue to preach for the next ten thousand years.
We pray for a drop of your mercy. Please engage us in pure devotional service without any tinge of karma or jñāna. Allow us to become humbler than a blade of grass and more tolerant than a tree.
On this auspicious day, we pray for your causeless mercy so that we may always remain fixed in executing your divine instructions and helping to propagate Lord Caitanya’s saṅkīrtana movement.
