Dearest Śrīla Prabhupāda!
Please accept our humble obeisances at your lotus feet. All glories unto you on this most auspi-
cious day of your appearance!
I was asked to write this offering on the evening before the deadline, so it will be very sponta-
neous – straight from my heart.
Śrīla Prabhupāda wrote to Bhūrijana Prabhu: “Unless there is loving feeling, how is it possible
for you to always make offerings to me? The spiritual master is always instructing his disciples and
they in turn are always trying to serve their spiritual master. It is a reciprocal relationship of love.”
And from a letter to Śravānanda Dāsa’s mother: “Yes, our Society is depending on love and
respect; we are bound by love.”
Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda, this worldwide ISKCON society, with all its temples, Deities, book
production and distribution, and varieties of preaching projects, is your offering of love to your
spiritual master and Lord Kṛṣṇa. Thus your brainchild has made – and continues to make – a last-
ing impact on the world. Your monumental task to travel alone to America, over the ocean and in
your old age, with only a trunk of your first volumes of the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam you translated, to
start a preaching movement and spread bhakti all over the world, leaves us ever in awe.
Thank you, dearest Śrīla Prabhupāda, for the sacrifice you made. Thank you for being an
ocean of mercy and letting us take shelter of your lotus feet. Thank you for all the love, devotion,
patience, and tolerance with which you started this movement and trained your disciples. Thank
you for giving us the refuge of your temples. Thank you for giving us beautiful Deities to worship.
Thank you for the amazing treasure of your books full of transcendental knowledge that you gave
us. Thank you for giving us the ever-protective shield and sweetness of the holy name. Thank
you for the worldwide company of spiritual brothers and sisters to serve and celebrate Kṛṣṇa and
our joyful life in Kṛṣṇa consciousness with. Thank you for saving us from the ever-worsening
onslaughts of Kali-yuga and giving us a pure, enlightened, and meaningful life. Thank you for
giving us Kṛṣṇa, and for placing the seed of bhakti in our hearts.
I once saw a video recording of one of your lectures. Somebody asked you a question, to which
you answered: “You have to learn to love Kṛṣṇa in His absence.” That answer somehow stuck in
my mind, and I meditate on its meaning every now and then. We can actually feel and experience
Kṛṣṇa’s presence everywhere. His divine spirit is penetrating everything in the universe – He’s in
all of creation. Without His divine spirit, nothing can come to life or exist. He is with us always as
the Supersoul in the heart, and a small atomic particle of Him is our own individual soul within
us. However, we might be longing for Kṛṣṇa’s personal company – the company the devotees had
when He was present here on earth in His strikingly beautiful, two-armed form. He promises us
in the Bhagavad-gītā that if we surrender unto Him, He will take us back to His spiritual world
to be with Him. We are fully dependent on His mercy. He can also reveal Himself to us while we
are still here on earth. We simply have to have faith in Him and increase our love and longing for
Him.
Hari Śauri Prabhu, who traveled with you a lot, Śrīla Prabhupāda, and who has a close, loving
relationship with you, told us how in Bombay in January 1977, you spoke to him regarding our
preaching task in ISKCON: “You should always remember that You have taken a very, very dif-
ficult task. Manuṣyāṇāṁ sahasreṣu kaścid yatati siddhaye. It is not a very easy task, but one thing is
sure: if you be successful or not successful, it is your victory. Because you try for this, and Kṛṣṇa
will be very much pleased.” (The Bhagavad-gītā verse is chapter 7, text 3: “Out of many thousands
of men, one may endeavor for perfection, and of those who have achieved perfection, hardly one
knows Me in truth.”)
Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda, we now face the challenge of upholding and carrying the Almvik
Ecovillage project into the future. It is a complex but attractive project, with potential but also a
currently deteriorating old temple building, beautiful Pañca-tattva deities, cows to protect, and
a surrounding forest, land, and a lake – and a village on the temple grounds filled with devo-
tees. At present we are raising funds to finance the necessary renovations for the temple building,
although we dream of a new, nicer temple in the future.
Please bless us with the determination, strength, and innovative, cooperative spirit to keep up
and develop this peaceful spiritual oasis for ISKCON’s preaching mission, despite any impedi-
ments that come our way.
Hari Śauri Prabhu gave us this statement by Śrīla Prabhupāda: “Your love for me will be tested
by how, after my departure, you maintain this institution. We have glamor, and people are feeling
our weight. This should be maintained.”

On this sacred occasion of your 129th Vyāsa-pūjā, we, the devotees and well-wishers of ISKCON
Amravati, humbly offer our heartfelt obeisances at your lotus feet. We express our deepest
gratitude for your unparalleled contribution to spreading Kṛṣṇa consciousness across the globe,
fulfilling the mission of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu with unwavering determination.
At the age of 69 you embarked on an unprecedented journey to the West, carrying the order
of your spiritual master, Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura, within your heart. In the most
challenging circumstances, you single-handedly ignited a spiritual revolution, firmly establishing
ISKCON as a global beacon of kṛṣṇa-bhakti. Your mission was not just to construct temples but to
transform hearts by distributing the holy names of Kṛṣṇa. You gifted us the Bhagavad-gītā, Śrīmad-
Bhāgavatam, and Caitanya-caritāmṛta, not merely as books but as the guiding light for millions.
Your transcendental literature continues to nourish and sustain ISKCON, keeping it eternally
vibrant in the face of time.
You are the jagad-guru, the world’s foremost spiritual teacher, rescuing conditioned souls from
the ocean of material suffering. Like a fearless spiritual warrior, you planted the seeds of bhakti
worldwide. Today, ISKCON stands as a testament to your boundless mercy, sheltering millions
under its branches.
Here at ISKCON Amravati, we recognize ourselves as but one small leaf on this great tree,
striving to serve your mission. Inspired by your instructions to spread Kṛṣṇa consciousness in
every town and village, we remain committed to preaching, book distribution, and youth engage-
ment. The spiritual foundation of our efforts is the congregational chanting of the holy name,
which you emphasized as the yuga-dharma:
Hare Kṛṣṇa Hare Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Hare Hare
Hare Rāma Hare Rāma, Rāma Rāma, Hare Hare
This mahā-mantra resonates within our temple walls, uniting devotees in the bliss of kīrtana. It is
through harināma-saṅkīrtana, prasādam distribution, and Vaiṣṇava saṅga that we share Kṛṣṇa’s
mercy with others. Our Sunday feasts, home programs, and bhakti-vriksha gatherings allow more
people to experience kṛṣṇa-bhakti in a structured and supportive environment.
Preaching Efforts in Amravati and Maharashtra
Śrīla Prabhupāda, you once wrote to His Holiness Lokanath Swami Mahārāja: “Our Lokanath
Swami is just like Saint Tukaram. The whole of India and specifically your Maharashtra are
enthused with Krishna. Now, you have to revive their Krishna consciousness. This is Tukaram’s
country, but now they are becoming bad politicians.” (Letter to Lokanath Swami, Vrindavan, July
30, 1977).
Inspired by your prophetic vision, we continue to spread Kṛṣṇa consciousness in Maharashtra.
Recognizing the spiritual heritage of this land, we strive to counteract impersonalism and materi-
alism, ensuring that pure Vaiṣṇava teachings illuminate every heart.
Silver Jubilee Celebration – ISKCON Amravati (1999–2024)
This year, ISKCON Amravati celebrates twenty-five years of service to your mission. We humbly
offer the following key milestones as our service at your lotus feet:
• Book distribution: Recognizing your books as spiritual time bombs, we actively distribute
them, ensuring they reach seekers hungry for Kṛṣṇa’s message.
• Harināma-saṅkīrtana: We regularly organize harināma-saṅkīrtana in Amravati and nearby
talukas, spreading the holy names far and wide.
• Prasādam distribution: Through our free prasādam distribution programs, we aim to spiritu-
ally nourish thousands, bringing them closer to Kṛṣṇa.
• Temple-based outreach: We conduct weekly bhakti-vriksha programs and home gatherings,
strengthening devotee communities.
• Youth engagement:
Ten dedicated youths from Amravati are actively serving through Māyāpur’s
Bhaktivedanta Academy for Culture and Education (BACE), chanting sixteen
rounds daily and following the four regulative principles.
Thirty engineering students are engaged in Kṛṣṇa consciousness through our Dis-
cover Yourself (DYS) course.
Our Gita for Youths initiative gathers fifty college students every Sunday, of whom
twenty have started chanting sixteen rounds daily.
• Land donation for preaching expansion:
By your mercy, ISKCON Amravati has received a generous donation of one acre in
Achalpur, which will serve as a future preaching hub.
Dearest Śrīla Prabhupāda, we humbly acknowledge that our efforts are insignificant, yet we pray
for your continued mercy to serve your mission with greater sincerity and determination. Please
bestow upon us the strength to uphold your teachings, resisting distractions and deviations; the
intelligence to work cooperatively, ensuring that ISKCON’s growth remains aligned with your
mood and mission; and the purity to become true representatives of your instructions, keeping
the flame of bhakti burning brightly in Amravati.
Our pledge on your Vyāsa-pūjā day: On this sacred occasion, we, the collective devotees of
ISKCON Amravati, solemnly renew our commitment to follow your instructions with unwavering
faith; prioritize preaching and book distribution as our primary duty; expand our bhakti-vriksha

Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,
Hare Kṛṣṇa. On behalf of the devotees of Amsterdam, please accept our humble obeisances.
All glories to your divine lotus feet.
Although unqualified, we would like to present you this humble offering for your wonderful
appearance day. We are truly blessed that you offered us the chance to be part of your ISKCON
family, which is saving us from being attracted and attached to the distractions that the material
world brings forth to us. You once mentioned that Amsterdam is a very good place for your
movement. During your visit to Amsterdam, you were pleased when you saw so many cows in
the country. But you also saw a lot of frustrated young people in the streets. Being merciful and
compassionate toward them, you advised the Amsterdam devotees at that time to let them chant
with us. Go on saṅkīrtana, you said, and that will for sure purify them. And if they are interested
in philosophy, sell them books.
Inspired by your instructions and trying to help you fulfill your desire to spread Kṛṣṇa con-
sciousness everywhere, in a humble way we made some endeavors to attract people to the Hare
Kṛṣṇa mahā-mantra. Although very small compared to your accomplishments, we hope it will be
pleasing to you, and we’d like to offer this to Your Divine Grace.
For a few years we’ve been celebrating big festivals like Janmāṣṭamī in a big hall or church,
which attracts hundreds of devotees. The program is varied, with kīrtana, dance, drama, ārati,
abhiśekha, and prasādam. Next to that, we organize an annual Kirtan Mela, with kīrtana for the
whole day, again held in a church building close by. And the highlight of the year, the Ratha-
yātrā festival, is growing bigger and more professionally organized each year. With the most
important square of the Netherlands as the venue, the festival attracts thousands of people who
are looking for something worthwhile to live for. In an attempt to spread the holy names to every
town and village we regularly go on harināma, each month in a different city or village close to
Amsterdam itself, of course. In the meantime, we distribute your valuable books, which can save
all humankind from the most miserable and abominable circumstances and situations. And we
run multiple weekly nāmahaṭṭa and monthly large programs in nearby cities, like Alphen aan den
Rijn, Amstelveen, Eindhoven, Hoofddorp, and Uithoorn, where we cultivate families in Kṛṣṇa
consciousness and bring them to the temple for service.
Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda, this would not have been possible without all the efforts you made for
us. We will always remember that whatever we do it is thanks to you and is meant to please you
and Lord Kṛṣṇa, whose names you brought so mercifully to the Western world for us to benefit
from.
Our congregation is still in development, and we still have much to learn. Please bless us that
we stay strong in your service and that we’ll be able to continue serving your lotus feet. For your
pleasure, we are very eager to find a building that will be owned by the temple so that we can
serve you and the devotees in a better way. We have much trust that with your blessings this will
eventually happen.

Please accept our humble obeisances at your lotus feet. On this special occasion of your Vyāsa-
pūjā, we, the devotees at ISKCON Angul, would like to submit our heartfelt offering to you.
Fifteen years have passed since preaching started in Angul City, under the guidance and bless-
ings of His Holiness Bhakti Gaurava Nārāyaṇa Swami. Angul is an industrial hub of central
Odisha. After years of struggle, we received one acre of land near Benagadia Village, and we have
gradually purchased more land adjacent to it. Now we have nearly five acres of land.
A magnificent temple of Śrī Jagannātha, Baladeva, and Subhadrā Mahārāṇī, Śrī Śrī Rādhā-
Śyāmasundara, and Śrī Gaura-Nitāi is now under construction. This year, around mid-April, we
are planning to cast the ground floor slab. There are around eleven cows and bulls in our goshala,
including three milk-giving cows. There is a beautiful flower garden on the temple campus that
produces fragrant and colorful flowers, and we offer fresh garlands to the Lord every morning.
During last year’s Gītā marathon, we distributed about 8,000 Bhagavad-gītās for your pleasure.
This year we will try to distribute 10,000 Bhagavad-gītās. This year we are also planning to expand
congregational preaching, village preaching, youth preaching, corporate preaching, and school/
college preaching to a higher level.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, today we are just enjoying and living a comfortable life in the ISKCON
temples built by your hard labor. Please bless us so that one day we may understand your heart
and imbibe the compassion you had for the suffering material world. Please bless us so we can all
love and serve in a cooperative spirit and make you happy. There are countless suffering souls out
there who are just waiting to receive your mercy in the form of your books. Please empower us so
that we may go out on saṅkīrtana every day to distribute your books.
Finally, we are all listening to your lectures and reading your books each day so we can have
your association, which is our only shelter in this dangerous Age of Kali.
