Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,
Please accept our humble obeisances at the dust of your divine lotus feet. Please allow us to make an attempt to glorify you, as far as our humility and qualifications permit.
Reflecting on life, we become increasingly convinced of how boundless the Lord’s mercy can be! And His mercy consists of sending us such compassionate, exalted souls as yourself so that we can cross the ocean of material suffering, called the material world. Your glory will spread from age to age, despite the darkening hues of Kali-yuga, and sincere souls will be able to take advantage of the boat you have left for us. It is described in Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam (10.2.31) that ācāryas, being compassionate saints, cross the ocean of material existence and reach the spiritual world. However, they do not simply leave. Rather, they leave behind a boat – their teachings, sacred scriptures, and spiritual practices – so that sincere souls seeking the Supreme Refuge can also cross over to the other shore.
By leaving the boat of your teachings, you give every person the opportunity to safely cross the material ocean, even though you are no longer physically present in this world. Your mission in this world is invaluable: just as a pious mother cannot evaluate her child, so spiritual values manifested by you cannot be measured. Without your mission, the lives of all conditioned souls have no meaning. You have given people light and hope for a truly bright future, which flows into eternity, full knowledge, and bliss, in the infinite happiness of love in relationship with the Lord.
Our endless gratitude to you for this and for the opportunity to try to become an instrument in the hands of the guru, who is an instrument in your hands.

The devotees of the New Navadvīpa community in Kyiv

Our dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,
Please accept our humble obeisances.
oṁ ajñāna-timirāndhasya jñānāñjana-śalākayā
cakṣur unmīlitaṁ yena tasmai śrī-gurave namaḥ
On this sacred occasion of your Vyāsa-pūjā, we, your children, grandchildren, and great-
grandchildren, humbly offer our heartfelt obeisances unto your lotus feet. You are the embodi-
ment of the mercy of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu and an empowered representative of the
Brahma-Madhva-Gauḍīya-sampradāya.
Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda, your unparalleled dedication to spreading the teachings of Kṛṣṇa
consciousness, as it is revealed in the Bhagavad-gītā and Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, has transformed the
lives of countless souls worldwide. Your Divine Grace has awakened humanity to the true pur-
pose of life: to develop pure love for Kṛṣṇa and serve Him with devotion. As the founder-ācārya
of ISKCON, you have selflessly worked to establish a global community of devotees, providing
a shelter for those seeking spiritual growth and enlightenment. Your remarkable achievements,
despite facing numerous challenges, stand as a testament to your unwavering faith, compassion,
and wisdom.
You have given us all we need to know and do to have a fulfilled and successful Kṛṣṇa con-
scious life. Your teachings and examples are our guiding light, and whoever follows them will
surely go back home, back to Godhead.
On this 129th Vyāsa-pūjā celebration of your divine appearance in this mortal world, we are
recommitting ourselves to making the best use of all that you have given us, and we pray for more
of your divine blessings, love, and guidance in all that we do to maintain and expand your mis-
sion and legacy.

Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,
Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to you.
Recently, at a North American leadership meeting, we were asked a profound question during
a breakout session: What motivates us most deeply in our hearts to serve in ISKCON? As we
reflected, two distinct answers emerged.
The first was our deep sense of indebtedness to you, Śrīla Prabhupāda. The second was our
heartfelt desire to help others.
Upon deeper contemplation, we realized that these two answers are, in essence, one and the
same. You envisioned spreading Mahāprabhu’s flag far and wide, manifesting the global flood of
love of Godhead – like that Sherwin-Williams logo you once appreciated. You brought this vision
to life through your missionary activities, which were a natural expression of your own ecstatic
love for Kṛṣṇa.
We have all been swept up in that flood and are profoundly grateful to you. In appreciation,
this year and every year, we rededicate ourselves to carrying forward your mission – blessing the
world with His Divine Grace.

Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,
Please accept my humble obeisances in the dust of your lotus feet. All glories to Your Divine
Grace!
We, your servants at Vraja Ecovillage in the Philippines, would like to express to you our deep-
est gratitude on this most auspicious day of your appearance. We pray for your continued mercy
in our lives, for without it we would struggle with the challenges of this dark age.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, your unwavering perseverance and dedication teach us to move forward in
all circumstances. We are grateful for your teachings, which cover the following important points:
1. Translation and writing: Your efforts to translate and write scripture have enabled us to share
these sacred texts with people around the world, making spiritual knowledge accessible to all.
2. Establishing temples and communities: You laid the foundation for temples, communities, and
educational institutions globally, fostering spiritual growth and connection.
3. Outreach: By traveling the world you set a remarkable example of sharing Lord Kṛṣṇa’s
teachings, creating opportunities for others to engage in service and deepen their spiritual
practices.
4. Promoting bhakti-yoga: Your emphasis on practicing devotional service has encouraged count-
less individuals to cultivate a meaningful relationship with Kṛṣṇa.
5. Prasādam distribution: You emphasized the significance of sharing prasādam and educational
programs, which cultivate compassion and unity among devotees.
Without your books and the diaries of your disciples, which chronicle your kindness in spreading
Lord Caitanya’s mission, we would be lost in darkness and ignorance. Your teachings, your devo-
tees, your temples, and the spiritual wisdom you impart provide us with shelter and guidance.
We humbly ask for your continued mercy to help us glorify you together and to embrace
Your Divine Grace. May our farm community have the opportunity to actively participate in the
saṅkīrtana movement in your honor!
With deep respect and devotion,
The servants at Vraja Ecovillage

Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,
All glories to Śrī Guru and Gaurāṅga. All glories to you, Śrīla Prabhupāda.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, we are happy to celebrate your appearance day, the most auspicious day in
the life of the ISKCON devotees.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, only by your causeless mercy are we here, trying to become devotees.
ISKCON Latur, Jagannātha Dhāma, really feels proud to be part of your movement. Only by
your mercy can we distribute books, prasādam, harināma, and make our lives successful.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, we are thankful at your lotus feet for giving us Guru and Gaurāṅga and
introducing Kṛṣṇa into our fallen lives.
We are trying to offer a big Jagannātha temple so we can introduce and propagate ISKCON
philosophy to the people of Latur city and its surroundings. Here, there are so many students,
working people, and an educated population. Please be merciful upon us so we can unitedly do
this noble job of preaching at your lotus feet.
We have one cow, Kālindī, and her calf, Balarāma, so we pray we can expand our goshala and
try to please Nitāi-Gauracandra.
Every Sunday we do nāgara-saṅkīrtana, with a very nice response from about thirty devotees in
different areas of the city. People welcome Nitāi-Gaurasundara by coming out on the road to join
us, accepting books, harināma, and prasādam.
Please be merciful to us and forgive us our faults. Please engage us in transcendental loving
service at your lotus feet.
Yours obedient servants,
ISKCON Jagannātha Dhāma

Śrīla Prabhupāda kī jaya! All glories to Guru and Gaurāṅga.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, you are widely recognized for the monumental efforts you made to introduce the wisdom of the Gauḍīya paramparā from India to the global stage. In just over a decade, you transformed a small following of hippies in New York City into a worldwide spiritual movement – from hippies to happies.
Here is a summary of the significant religious and cultural work you accomplished.
You translated and commentated Vedic literature: Śrīla Prabhupāda, your most enduring legacy is your literary contribution. You translated and provided extensive Bhaktivedanta purports (commentaries) for several foundational texts of the Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇava tradition. Bhagavad-gītā As It Is is one of the most widely read and distributed versions of the Gītā in the world and has been translated into seventy languages. Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, currently printed in eighteen volumes, is an encyclopedia of spiritual knowledge. Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta is a multivolume biography and philosophical study of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu’s life and teachings.
You established ISKCON: In 1966, at the age of 70, you founded the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). It began in a storefront on the Lower East Side of Manhattan and grew into a global network that today includes over 600 temples and cultural centers, dozens of ecovillages and farm communities, and educational institutions for adults and schools for children.
You developed the Food for Life program: You emphasized that no one within a ten-mile radius of a temple should go hungry. This philosophy led to the creation of Food for Life, which has become the world’s largest vegetarian food relief program, serving millions of free sanctified meals (prasādam) to people regardless of their background.
You inaugurated cultural exchanges and global festivals: You are credited with bringing the Ratha-yātrā (Chariot festival) out of India and into the streets of major Western cities such as London, San Francisco, and New York. This allowed millions of people to experience Vedic culture and music (kirtan) firsthand.
You established the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust (BBT): To ensure the continued distribution of spiritual knowledge, you established the BBT in 1972. It is currently the world’s largest publisher of books concerning Indian religion and philosophy.
Summary of your impact: Śrīla Prabhupāda, your work is often praised for its “uncompromising” presentation of our tradition. You did not dilute the teachings to fit Western trends; instead, you invited the world to adapt to the principles of bhakti (devotion), focusing on character, vegetarianism, and the chanting of the mahā-mantra.
I was very fortunate that I had your association sometimes in 1976 in Vrindavan while Tamal Krishna Mahārāja was your personal secretary. I came to you, Śrīla Prabhupāda, with an invitation from Vāsudeva Prabhu to make a beautiful special residence for you in Lautoka, Fiji. We wanted to invite you to stay and complete your Bhāgavatam writing in a very quiet and peaceful atmosphere. I still remember that you sent your blessings to us through Tamal Krishna Mahārāja.
By your blessings, Śrīla Prabhupāda, our Kṛṣṇa-Kāliya temple in Lautoka and all other Fijian temples are expanding. By your blessings, we in Fiji are still continuing our services to you and Kṛṣṇa-Kāliya. Please bless the whole world so that everyone can taste Kṛṣṇa consciousness in this lifetime.
With lots of love to you, Śrīla Prabhupāda.
