Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,
Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to you on this divine day of your appearance.
A criticism that comes up again and again in different generations of Lord Caitanya’s move-
ment is that the devotees seem sentimental, not thoughtful or reflective. Here in Trinidad and
Tobago, for many years the devotees would be invited to functions to chant and lead the attend-
ees in kīrtana. One year we were asked to put together a group of devotees to have kīrtana with
one organization; however, we thought we have much more to offer than ecstatic kīrtana – we
also have a deep philosophy that is practically unmatched. We therefore asked the organizer for a
few minutes to make a presentation at their program. They reluctantly agreed, but at the end they
remarked that for so many years they had known the Hare Kṛṣṇas to be just a group of persons
who chanted and danced in the streets and had had no idea that we had any philosophy. They
subsequently invited us to do a full presentation with them, and this relationship still exists today.
In reflecting on you and your contribution to the world, we thought of Śrīla Jīva Gosvāmī and
his contributions, and how you are his modern-day representative.
Literary contribution: It is estimated that Jīva Gosvāmī wrote and compiled at least 400,000
verses in his own works. He was even instrumental in getting paper for the books to be printed
on. Not only did he produce the books of the Gosvāmīs along with his own books, he arranged
for them to be distributed.
You received the instruction from your own spiritual master to publish books. Armed with the
First Canto of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, you came to the West in 1965 and, until your departure in 1977,
you contributed at least sixty volumes, with original artwork – books that would be given high
praise by scholars around the world.
Leadership: Jīva Gosvāmī lived at an important turning point in the history of our sampradāya,
just after the departure of Lord Caitanya. He served to consolidate the movement after Lord
Caitanya’s departure and establish a foundation upon which it would spread.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, you also established a foundation upon which the movement would spread
by building on the work that was begun by Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura and then furthered by
Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura.
Establishment of a legal framework: Jīva Gosvāmī was able to navigate the political climate of the
Mughal rule in India. He received legal guarantees from that government through his alliances
with the Rajput kings that the property of the Gosvāmīs would always remain in the hands of the
Gosvāmīs and their descendants.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, you saw that the first step in establishing a worldwide preaching movement
was to establish it legally. This day is marked on our calendar as the “Incorporation of ISKCON.”
You also did not waver in your determination when devotees were taken to court to defend the
authenticity of ISKCON, or when unscrupulous persons tried to cheat you out of land, such as in
Bombay.
Teaching: Jīva Gosvāmī was instrumental in teaching the next generation of devotees, who
would go on to establish Lord Caitanya’s movement in Bengal, Purī, and other parts of India.
Similarly, Śrīla Prabhupāda, you taught your disciples by your example and instruction how to
continue the mission both in your presence and after your departure.
It is easy to find a person who excels in one or even two of these areas, but it is rare to find a
person who is superlative in a multitude of them. Śrīla Prabhupāda, you are indeed a person who
deserves the title ācārya. You demonstrated thoughtfulness, tenacity, and excellence in so many
significant areas that it set a solid foundation for us to carry your mission forward.
We pray to you on this occasion of your appearance that we may at least develop competence
in one area of need to continue to spread and consolidate your mission.

Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Your Divine Grace!
On this most auspicious occasion of your Vyāsa-pūjā, I wish to offer my deepest gratitude at
your lotus feet. You are the beacon of transcendental wisdom, the ever-compassionate guide, and
the savior of fallen souls like myself. Without your mercy, I would be completely lost in the dark-
ness of material existence. By your boundless compassion and the matchless gift of Kṛṣṇa con-
sciousness that you so tirelessly distributed, my life has found true meaning.
Your books are the foundation of my spiritual journey. The first time I read Bhagavad-gītā As
It Is, it was as if my soul had been awakened from a long slumber. Your words were not merely
explanations – they carried the power of divine realization. Through your purports, you revealed
Kṛṣṇa’s teachings in their purest form, and by your mercy I began to understand that life’s ulti-
mate goal is to surrender unto the Supreme Lord, Śrī Kṛṣṇa.
As I continued to read your books – The Nectar of Devotion, Śrī Īśopaniṣad, The Science of Self-
Realization – each page deepened my understanding of bhakti-yoga. Your instructions are not
abstract philosophies but living truths that guide every aspect of my life. You taught that devo-
tional service is the essence of real happiness and that chanting the holy names of the Lord is the
most effective way to purify the heart. By following your teachings, I have personally experienced
the transformational power of Kṛṣṇa consciousness.
Your divine mission to spread the glories of the holy name has inspired me in my service as
a preacher. As the president of ISKCON Lucknow, I strive to uphold your vision by spreading
Kṛṣṇa consciousness in every possible way. Through book distribution, kīrtana, lectures, and
prasādam distribution, we are reaching many sincere souls who are yearning for true spiritual con-
nection. I see firsthand how your teachings are transforming lives, just as they transformed mine.
Your emphasis on nāma-haṭṭa and the power of saṅkīrtana has been a guiding force in our
efforts. I have witnessed the miraculous effect of the holy names in purifying hearts and awaken-
ing dormant devotion. It is solely by your mercy that we are able to engage in these preaching
efforts and offer something in service to you and Lord Caitanya’s mission.
Your concern for the suffering of humanity extended beyond philosophy; you demonstrated
practical compassion through initiatives like prasādam distribution and community welfare.
Inspired by your instructions, we have undertaken various service projects, including food relief
programs, medical camps, and educational outreach to share Kṛṣṇa’s mercy with those in need.
Your teachings remind us that true service to Kṛṣṇa also means serving His devotees and all living
beings in a spirit of selflessness and love.
Despite my many shortcomings and imperfections, I pray that you will always keep me
engaged in your service. I know that my only real shelter is in your instructions and in following
the path you showed. On this sacred day, I rededicate myself to your mission, praying for the
strength to serve with sincerity, humility, and unwavering faith.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, I offer my heartfelt obeisances at your lotus feet. Please bless me so that I
may never deviate from your teachings. May I always remain your humble servant, life after life.
Your servant,
Aparemaya Shyām Dāsa, president

Dearest Śrīla Prabhupāda,
Please accept our most humble obeisances at the dust of your lotus feet. All glories to Your
Divine Grace.
Dearest Gurudeva, we wish to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making such won-
derful arrangements in our temple, ISKCON Málaga. Even though we were unfortunate not to
be in your physical presence, we feel your presence in your mūrti form every single minute, every
single hour, every single day. You have been guiding us in our management of one small particle
of your huge body, ISKCON.
Last year was a very difficult year for us regarding the management, and we expressed it in our
letter. You made such wonderful arrangements, which have given us huge relief. Here is a short
poem, written by a local devotee, to express our gratitude to you:
O blessed Gurudeva, beacon in the night,
you came from the East with a transcendental light.
Your words, like nectar, awaken the soul,
opening the path to the eternal goal.
Through your mercy, ignorance fades away,
the holy name in every heart now sways.
You revealed that life’s true aim
is a journey toward love for God’s name.
In your books, the Supreme Truth shines bright,
you taught us love as our guiding light.
Through your sacrifice the world has grown,
and Kṛṣṇa’s message is now well-known.
O Prabhupāda, sacred shelter divine,
may your legacy forever shine.
From this heart,
I offer my life to serve and never part.

Dearest Śrīla Prabhupāda,

On this most auspicious day of your Vyāsa-pūjā, dear Śrīla Prabhupāda, we feel most fortunate to be engaged in the service of ISKCON Málaga and to have this opportunity to glorify you.
You have indeed created a marvelous society with the most wonderful Vaiṣṇavas across the globe. We have been connected with our local center in Málaga for more than forty years, and through this temple, our entire family, though it is scattered across the world, from the Far East to the United States of America.
Upon the slightest willingness on their part to hear about Lord Kṛṣṇa and His glories, we take great joy in introducing them to Kṛṣṇa consciousness and speaking of your marvelous work – the immense sacrifice, determination, and struggle you undertook to establish temples and spread Lord Kṛṣṇa’s holy names throughout the world.
As we ourselves approach the age at which you single-handedly began this movement, we already feel the tiredness, weakness, and a lack of enthusiasm sometimes. Every single day we get the realization of your extraordinary achievements at the age of seventy, when most people in the world would retire from active life.
Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda, you single-handedly and without economic support or help from your godbrothers fearlessly crossed the Atlantic Ocean to preach to the Western countries. You reached the port in Boston and brought forth a spiritual revolution that transformed countless young teenagers’ hearts, making them from hippies to happies!
We have not even reached that age, yet we already feel so limited. Reading about your divine life in the Līlāmṛta so beautifully composed by Satsvarūpa dāsa Goswami, inspires us greatly. Your unwavering determination, purity of purpose, and absolute dedication to your spiritual master remain our guiding light.
We pray at your lotus feet to empower us to such an extent that we may preach to more and more conditioned souls and bring them into Kṛṣṇa consciousness.
Guided by your inspiration, we are doing pretty well at our local temple along with the selfless dedication, encouragement, and collaboration of the local resident devotees, who faithfully participate in all the major programs of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness – from the full morning program, beginning with maṅgala-ārati to the Sunday Love feast and grand festivals like Kṛṣṇa Janmāṣṭamī. Even though we are a small center, by your causeless mercy we are able to attract hundreds of local people, especially during our festivals.
We also have weekly kirtans, harināma-saṅkīrtanas, and devotees engage in book distribution as well as sell your transcendental books online along with devotional paraphernalia. All of this we do is in an effort to spread your mission and the glories of Kṛṣṇa consciousness.
Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda, we humbly pray for your mercy. Please bless us with inspiration, strength, and determination so that we may continue serving in your mission. Without your blessings, we are simply a disturbance, but with your blessings, even our small efforts may become meaningful in your service.
Please allow us to remain engaged in your service, life after life. Hare Kṛṣṇa.
Your humble servant,
Hema Gaurī Dāsī and the devotees of ISKCON Málaga

Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,
Please accept our most humble obeisances at your divine lotus feet. All glories to Your Divine Grace, the founder-ācārya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda.
On this most auspicious occasion of your Vyāsa-pūjā, we, your insignificant servants in Malaysia, offer our heartfelt gratitude for your boundless mercy in bringing the teachings of Bhagavad-gītā As It Is and Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam to the entire world. Currently, ISKCON Malaysia has twenty-four branches/temples across the country, and many nāma-haṭṭas. All of these are carrying out your preaching efforts.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, by your causeless mercy, the Malaysian yātrā has continued to make steady progress over the past year. Whatever little has been accomplished is solely due to your inspiration and blessings.
Temple and congregational development: Regular spiritual programs across Malaysia have been strengthened, including Bhāgavatam classes, Bhagavad-gītā study groups, and vibrant kirtan gatherings. Congregational preaching has expanded, with more families embracing Kṛṣṇa consciousness in their daily lives.
Major events and spiritual gatherings: By your mercy, several large-scale devotional events were successfully organized this year. The annual Hare Kṛṣṇa Convention, held in September 2025, brought together devotees across the country for association, classes, and kirtan. The Kirtan-melā, in June 2025, created a spiritually surcharged atmosphere, immersing participants in continuous chanting of the holy names.
The Vaiṣṇavī retreat, in May 2025, provided a dedicated platform for Vaiṣṇavīs to deepen their spiritual practices and association. In addition, house programs during the Dāmodara month were conducted extensively, allowing many families to host the Lord and engage in devotional service within their homes.
During the Deepavali carnivals, devotees actively participated in outreach efforts, sharing prasādam, kirtan, and spiritual literature with the wider community and introducing many newcomers to Kṛṣṇa consciousness.
Book distribution and outreach: Your transcendental books continue to be distributed throughout Malaysia, both physically and through online efforts. Many conditioned souls have had the opportunity to connect with your teachings through these initiatives.
Festival celebrations: Major festivals such as Janmāṣṭamī, Ratha-yātrā, and Gaura-Pūrṇimā were celebrated with great enthusiasm, drawing large crowds and inspiring many to take up devotional service. It is especially noteworthy that in Malaysia, more than twenty Ratha-yātrās are held annually.
Youth and educational programs: Youth engagement remains a priority, with regular youth gatherings, study sessions, and camps being conducted. Children’s spiritual education programs have also continued to develop steadily.
Prasādam distribution: Prasādam distribution has expanded significantly during festivals, outreach programs, and special events, benefiting many people and spreading your message of mercy.
Deity worship and standards: Efforts have been made to maintain and enhance the standards of Deity worship, ensuring that temple worship remains pure and uplifting. We finally managed to install Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Gokulacandra in the capital of Malaysia.
Challenges and aspirations: Despite these efforts, we remain aware of our many shortcomings. We sincerely pray for your mercy to improve our cooperation, humility, and dedication. Our aspiration is to expand your mission further across Malaysia and bring more souls to your lotus feet.
Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda, we have no qualification to serve you, yet we beg to become instruments in your divine mission. Thank you for giving us Kṛṣṇa, your books, and a life of purpose in devotional service.

Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,
Please accept our most humble obeisances at your lotus feet. All glories to Your Divine Grace.
On this most auspicious occasion of your Vyāsa-pūjā, we, the devotees of ISKCON Manchester, offer our heartfelt gratitude for your unlimited mercy. By your compassion, the holy name of Lord Kṛṣṇa has reached this important city of Manchester, and we have been given the opportunity to engage in devotional service.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, whatever service we are able to perform is only by following your instructions and taking shelter of your teachings. You have given us a complete process for spiritual life through your books, by your example, and in the society you established. We are simply trying, in our own imperfect way, to assist in your mission.
Inspired by your emphasis on congregational chanting, we regularly come together to chant the holy names. Each month, devotees participate in public chanting and book distribution, trying to share your teachings with sincerity. Remembering your instruction, “Book distribution is the most important activity in our Society” (letter to Rupanuga, 28 December 1974), we continue this service with whatever capacity we have. By your mercy, this past year many people have received your books, and we have been able to distribute approximately 5,000 copies. We also distributed around 2,000 devotional calendars, hoping to bring remembrance of Kṛṣṇa into people’s daily lives.
For the first time, we were able to participate in the “Be a Gardener” campaign and, by your mercy, exceeded our pledge in distributing sets of Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta. We are also taking part in the Bhadra campaign and are steadily progressing in that service.
Understanding the importance you placed on education, we offer a Bhakti Śāstrī certificate course, where devotees study your books in a systematic way. At present, around twenty devotees are enrolled. Alongside this, regular study groups, mentorship programs, and courses such as the ISKCON Disciple Course are helping devotees deepen their understanding. As you instructed, “These books are the basis; our preaching is the essence,” (letter to Hamsaduta, 3 December 1968) – we are trying to keep this foundation central to all our efforts.
By your mercy, several devotees have taken further steps in their spiritual lives and accepted initiation, strengthening their commitment to devotional service. We pray that we may remain faithful to your instructions and continue progressing under your guidance.
Our temple programs, including regular Sunday gatherings and weekly morning classes, are centered on hearing and discussing your books in devotee association. In a spirit of cooperation, devotees serve in various ways, supporting festivals and assisting other communities when opportunities arise, following your instruction that our love for you will be shown by how much we cooperate to keep this institution together (letter to Karandhara, 18 October 1973). We are especially grateful for the sincere efforts of the many volunteers who help organize and support these programs.
As the congregation grows, many festivals are held in hired venues to accommodate increasing participation. Each year, we celebrate Ratha-yātrā and other festivals, giving many people the opportunity to take part in kirtan, hear your teachings, and receive spiritual benefit. By your mercy, many thousands have also received prasādam over the past year.
We are also trying to support nearby congregations in surrounding towns around Manchester through participation in local programs, mentorship, and devotional education, helping to encourage their development in Kṛṣṇa consciousness.
In a spirit of loving cooperation, devotees from Manchester annually take time to assist in cooking for the Birmingham 24-hour kirtan festival. Devotees also travel together, filling several coaches, to participate in the London Ratha-yātrā as a joyful opportunity to serve and be part of the wider mission.
We are also trying to reach newcomers and the local community through our Sacred Lounge program in the city center, where people are invited to experience Kṛṣṇa consciousness through chanting, spiritual discussion, and distribution of prasādam. By your causeless mercy, new people are gradually becoming interested and connecting with devotional life. Regular youth preaching programs are also being conducted at the university in our town, and by your grace many students are becoming interested in Kṛṣṇa consciousness through these efforts.
As our congregation continues to grow, we are fully aware of the need to better accommodate the devotees and expand opportunities for service. With this understanding, we are actively working toward securing a larger temple facility, while also exploring how the current temple may be expanded. We pray for your guidance and mercy so that these efforts may be carried out in a way that pleases you and supports the continued growth of your mission in Manchester.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, although we are limited in many ways, you have kindly engaged us in your mission. We pray that we may always remain your servants, following your instructions without deviation, and working together to spread Kṛṣṇa consciousness for your pleasure. Please bless us that we may continue to serve you with sincerity, humility, and determination.
