On behalf of the Minnesota temple and our Kṛṣṇa conscious community here, we feel grateful for another year under your shelter. Your presence continues to guide us in ways we often don’t even realize until later.
One of the most meaningful moments for us this year was hosting ISKCON Minnesota’s first Ratha-yātrā. For our community, it was a deeply emotional and joyful experience. Seeing Lord Jagannātha, Baladeva, and Subhadrā Devī come out and bless the streets of Minnesota felt like a moment we had been waiting for, and it touched our hearts in a way we will never forget.
Throughout the year, we saw your teachings quietly touch people. During our weekly kirtans, new guests stayed longer than they expected, especially many college students who were curious and searching for something deeper. Their openness, their questions, and the way they connected with the chanting showed us how naturally Kṛṣṇa consciousness can reach people when it’s offered with sincerity. The children’s enthusiasm during kirtan and service also brought a warmth to the temple that lifted everyone’s spirits.
In this Age of Kali, we see how stressed, anxious, and overwhelmed people are. Many feel lost or are unsure where to turn. But when they come in contact with your teachings – even briefly – something softens in their hearts. We see it in their eyes, in their questions, and in the relief they feel during kirtan. Your message gives people hope, clarity, and a sense of direction that is hard to find in today’s world.
Our university outreach at the University of Minnesota also gave us hope. Students were open, curious, and genuinely trying to understand Kṛṣṇa consciousness and your mission. Their sincerity reminded us that your teachings continue to reach new people, even in places where we might not expect it.
Inside the temple, we’ve tried to strengthen our services – festivals, Deity worship, and caring for one another. There were times when things felt challenging, but returning to your instructions on humility and cooperation helped us stay steady. Again and again, we felt guided back to what truly matters.
As a community, we feel inspired to do more. We genuinely want to serve more, to reach more people, and to share Kṛṣṇa consciousness in a way that touches hearts. There is so much more we hope to offer – through outreach, festivals, prasādam, kirtan, and simply being available for anyone who is searching. Our prayer is to grow in sincerity and dedication so we can contribute more meaningfully to your mission.
We are grateful to serve under the guidance of His Holiness Romapāda Swami, whose instructions help us stay aligned with your mood and mission. His reminders about sincerity, patience, and genuine care keep us grounded as we try to carry forward even a small part of your vision.

On behalf of our Minnesota temple and Kṛṣṇa conscious community, I consider myself pro-
foundly honored to pen this Vyāsa-pūjā offering – a humble gesture of gratitude for the trans-
formative blessings of the Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement in our lives. This sacred mission has
become a guiding light amidst the turmoil of Kali-yuga, providing clarity, purpose, and joy in
service.
The thought of your courageous journey to the United States, armed only with a typewriter, a
few books, and your unshakable trust in Kṛṣṇa’s plan, fills us with awe and reverence. The power-
ful image of you chanting under the tree in Tompkins Square Park is a constant source of inspira-
tion, reminding us of the beauty and strength of surrender to Kṛṣṇa’s divine will.
Your teachings continue to guide and illuminate our path. These are not merely philosophical
principles but living truths that you embodied with every step, word, and action. Through your
example, we learned that to serve Kṛṣṇa is to serve others, and sharing His glories brings the
greatest joy and fulfillment. Your immense sacrifice and compassion have changed countless lives,
and we are eternally grateful to be among the blessed recipients of your legacy.
In our small attempts to honor your vision, under the guidance of my spiritual master, His
Holiness Romapāda Swami, the ISKCON Minnesota community has taken meaningful steps to
share Kṛṣṇa consciousness. We organized our first university program for students at the Uni-
versity of Minnesota, joyfully planting the seeds of Kṛṣṇa’s message among young hearts. Our
Monthly Saṅkīrtana program brings the holy name to our local community, spreading joy and
spiritual upliftment. We also encourage children to participate in kīrtana and temple activities,
nurturing their spiritual growth and fostering a deep connection to Kṛṣṇa from an early age. Wit-
nessing their enthusiasm fills our hearts with hope and gratitude for the future of this movement.
Personally and as a community, we feel truly blessed to have found spiritual shelter, guidance,
and purpose within the movement you created. We humbly pray for your blessings, Śrīla
Prabhupāda, that we may carry this mission forward with faith, determination, and devotion. May
we honor your legacy in every thought, word, and deed, and may our collective efforts contribute
to the fulfillment of the beautiful mission you envisioned – a world united in Kṛṣṇa’s loving ser-

feet in deep gratitude and reverence. You are the empowered messenger of Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa and
Caitanya Mahāprabhu and the dedicated and sincere servant of your spiritual master, His Divine
Grace Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura Prabhupāda. You are the most compassionate
deliverer of the fallen souls. You brought the message and mercy of Nitāi-Gaura all over the
world!
By your matchless devotion, courage, and unwavering faith in guru and Kṛṣṇa, you fulfilled
the prophecy of Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura and the instructions of your spiritual master, His
Divine Grace Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura Prabhupāda by carrying the holy name
and the message of Śrī Kṛṣṇa and Lord Gaurāṅga across the oceans. You founded the Interna-
tional Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), offering the entire world the shelter of the

Your books, written with the purity of a surrendered heart, continue to transform lives, illumi-

tion and to practice unity in diversity. May we always remain faithful instruments of your divine

On this most auspicious occasion of your Vyāsa-pūjā, the devotees of ISKCON Mississauga offer our heartfelt gratitude and reverence unto you.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, you are our eternal guide, our ever well-wisher, and the compassionate savior of this age. By your causeless mercy you crossed the ocean at an advanced age with nothing but the order of your spiritual master and full faith in the holy name of Lord Kṛṣṇa.
Because of you, we have the priceless gift of Kṛṣṇa consciousness. Because of you, the holy name is being chanted in homes, temples, and hearts across the world – including here in Mississauga. Because of you, our lives have found meaning, direction, and shelter.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, you gave us everything – your books, your teachings, your temples, your devotees, and most importantly, your example. Your life is a living commentary on surrender, determination, humility, and unwavering devotion to guru and Kṛṣṇa.
In our small community here, we are trying to follow your instructions to chant sincerely, serve cooperatively, and share Kṛṣṇa consciousness with others. Though we are imperfect and often struggling, we take hope in your words that even a little endeavor on this path is never lost.
Here are some highlights from our activities, which we offer at your lotus feet:
- August 10, 2025 – celebrated our first anniversary on Balarāma Pūrṇimā.
- Fifteen festivals celebrated in 2025 – Nityānanda-trayodaśī, Gaura-Pūrṇimā, Rāma-navamī, Nṛsiṁha-caturdaśī, the chida-dahi festival, Ratha-yātrā, Balaram Pūrṇimā, Janmāṣṭamī, Vyāsa-pūjā, Rādhāṣṭamī, the Mississauga Festival of Joy, Govardhan-pūjā, Gītā-jayantī, a Gītā Contest for Children, and a New Year’s Day celebration.
- We have a Sunday School for children ages 5–17, a Krishna and Balaram Group for Ślokas, Stories from the Vedic Purāṇas, two classes conducted by screened and safety-trained teachers from ISKCON.
- Increase in congregational members – we have 50–90+ devotees regularly attending our Sunday feast. Every week we have one or two families as newcomers. Trying our best to retain them to become regular members.
- Department heads and departmental meetings on Tuesdays to address challenges and how to improve.
- Deities – scheduling pūjārīs for ārati, planning and executing festivals.
- Decoration – every Sunday, setting up the table for the Deities and a grand setup for festivals.
- Garland making – purchasing flowers, maintaining and making garlands each week
- Prasādam – a group of volunteers preparing one or two items at ISKCON Mississauga, and the rest at home.
- Setup and Windup – setting up chairs, tables, the mike, the projector, etc. on a weekly basis.
- Purchases – buying disposable items and other items as and when required.
- IT – ISKCON Mississauga’s security, website, and updating our social media; recording āratis and classes, preparing flyers for the regular Sunday programs and festivals, etc.
- Communications – letters to invite VIPs, recommendation letters to His Holiness Bhaktimārga Swami Mahārāja for initiations, communicating with various city officials as per requirements.
- Sunday School – philosophy presented in simplified stories.
- Vedic discourse – scheduling weekly speakers.
- Kirtans – drawing up a schedule for who will sing the āratis and closing kirtans or lead bhajanas once for the next two months.
- Saṅkīrtana – book distribution at temples, grocery stores, festivals and kirtans, etc.
- Mississauga Festival of Joy (MFOJ) – preparing for this big event through weekly meetings, budgeting, finalizing location, etc.
- Vaiṣṇava Care (started in September 2025) – caring for devotees in need by providing them with prasādam and other help.
- Accounting – developing Sunday Feast and festival sponsors; encouraging monthly donors – at the moment, we have fifteen families.

Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Your Divine Grace.
With hearts full of gratitude, we want to offer this humble report of our services at ISKCON
Miyapur over the past year. With boundless support and blessings from senior Vaiṣṇavas and our
sincere devotees, we have been able to carry forward your mission to spread Kṛṣṇa consciousness
in numerous ways.
This past year, one very grand festival we celebrated was Śrī Kṛṣṇa Janmāṣṭamī Mahotsava. It
was held with great spirit and devotion, attracting thousands of devotees, who attended maṅgala-
ārati, nonstop kīrtana, the Bhāgavatam discourse, a number of cultural programs, and other events.
Many children recited Gītā ślokas, which gave us hope that the next generation will continue to
carry your mission with great devotion.
Another glorious and successful event was our Jagannātha Ratha-yātrā, during which the
streets resounded with the chanting of the holy names and devotees eagerly pulled the chariot,
offering their heartfelt prayers.
Our Food-for-Life program has been successfully going on. We distribute kṛṣṇa-prasādam to
those in need, praying that no one in the temple’s radius goes hungry – not just for lack of food
but also lack of Kṛṣṇa’s mercy. During each auspicious festival we distributed more than one lakh
of free meals, ensuring that many people receive Kṛṣṇa’s blessings in the form of mahā-prasādam.
Our ISKCON Youth Forum is a place of transformation for young minds, who come to learn
the wisdom of the Gītā, participate in beautiful kīrtanas, and develop a sense of purpose. Many are
actively participating in all Kṛṣṇa consciousness activities with so much trust and joy. Our weekly
harināma-saṅkīrtana and book distribution has spread the holy names to the areas surrounding
ISKCON Miyapur, reminding us always that chanting the Lord’s names along with distributing
books in the streets is priority one and meant to please you and Lord Gaurāṅga.
During the Bhadra Pūrṇimā festival, we encouraged devotees to take a Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam set
into their homes. It was heartwarming to witness so many families happily accepting this great-
est treasure, which will connect them much closer to the Supreme Lord. With your mercy, Śrīla
Prabhupāda, and your blessings, we distributed 150 sets.
During the Gītā marathon we distributed 108 sets of the Caitanya-caritāmṛta, 9,000 small
books, 150 medium books, 600 big books, and 2,500 mahā big books. Every book we sold felt
like a small offering at your lotus feet. We pray that these books have reached sincere souls and
will transform their hearts to help them take shelter of Kṛṣṇa. We wish, Śrīla Prabhupāda, that
you bless the entire ISKCON Miyapur team so that we can continue distributing more and more
books.
ISKCON Miyapur also participated in the Kumbha Mela at Prayagraj, and we distributed 5
lakhs of free meals to the pilgrims as well as held ecstatic harināma-saṅkīrtana. We also distributed
more than 50,000 books.
Serving in various ways at Prayagraj reminded us all of how you tirelessly traveled and distrib-
uted transcendental knowledge, ensuring that every soul got the chance to reconnect with the
Supreme Lord.
Every Sunday, there will be a special class by a senior Vaiṣṇava on the Bhāgavatam, Bhagavad-
gītā, Caitanya-caritāmṛta, and on special spiritual concepts. In this way many devotees have been
regularly attending every Sunday and getting the blessings of Śrī Gaura-Nitāi. Nearly one hun-
dred devotees have begun chanting sixteen rounds a day, and many more are gradually becoming
inclined to practice Kṛṣṇa consciousness.
Whatever we have achieved is only due to the divine inspiration and strength that you have
given us through your books, instructions, and the association of your devotees. We pray for and
seek the blessings of Guru and Gaurāṅga that we continue to serve with sincerity and enthusiasm,
never forgetting that your mission is your gift to the world.

Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,
All glories to Your Divine Grace, Śrīla Prabhupāda! On this auspicious day of Vyāsa-pūjā, I
offer my humble obeisances at your lotus feet, expressing my deepest gratitude for your unparal-
leled mercy and guidance.
In the serene coastal town of Mombasa, where the Indian Ocean meets the African shores, your
teachings have illuminated the hearts of many. Through your books, lectures, and the establishing
of ISKCON centers, you have brought the light of Kṛṣṇa consciousness to this part of the world.
I recall the first time I encountered your books. The words leaped off the pages, resonating
with a truth I had always sought. Your translations and purports opened the doors to a deeper
understanding of the Bhagavad-gītā and Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, offering a clarity and wisdom that
transcends time and space.
Your unwavering commitment to spreading the holy names of Kṛṣṇa has inspired countless
souls in Mombasa to chant the mahā-mantra with sincerity. The simple yet profound practice of
chanting has brought peace and solace to many hearts, transforming lives and fostering a commu-
nity bound by devotion.
Your divine yātrā to Mombasa, on September 8–13, 1971, makes the place a dhāma (pilgrimage
site). At that time, you told Brahmānanda Prabhu, “Mombasa is Svargaloka now.” I feel your
words manifested in the form of the New Dvārakā-dhāma temple here. You also mentioned in a
letter written July 23, 1975, that there should be two temples in Mombasa. Now, by your divine
blessings, we have two fully fledged temples here, one in Ganjoni and the other near the Nyali
beach. We also have a Hare Krishna Community Center in the heart of Mombasa for the students’
preaching programs. Students also stay at the center.
I am particularly grateful for the establishing of ISKCON Mombasa. The temple has become
a sanctuary for devotees, a place where we gather to worship, learn, and grow together in Kṛṣṇa
consciousness. The festivals, prasādam, and kīrtanas – all are manifestations of your love and
mercy, nurturing our spiritual lives.
In moments of doubt and difficulty, your teachings have been a beacon of hope. The practice
of sādhana, the association of devotees, and the study of your books have provided strength and
direction. Your example of dedication and service continues to inspire me to strive for greater
devotion and humility.
As I offer this homage, I pray for your continued blessings. May I always remain under your
shelter, serving with sincerity and dedication. May the light of your teachings continue to shine
brightly in Mombasa, guiding all souls towards the lotus feet of Lord Kṛṣṇa.
