His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda kī jaya!
Daṇḍavat praṇām! With all the respect and consideration we have for Your Divine Grace and your
gigantic work, we have not a single word to address to your eminent personality. But as custom
requires, we can only say thank you to sum it all up.
Indeed, at a very advanced age you took the risk of throwing yourself into the water (an
impossible thing for our generation) to free us from our respective conditionings. I offer you my
respectful homage! You were in Vrindavan (at Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Dāmodara temple), and lacked noth-
ing. You were old like most of the other sādhus preparing to leave their bodies whom we meet in
Vrindavan today.
Who reassured you that you would succeed in your mission to America? You may not have
known it yourself, but one thing was in you: faith in your spiritual master and the conviction that
Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa and Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu would not let you down. As you yourself wrote
on Friday, September 10, 1965, in your travel journal somewhere on the Atlantic, aboard a steamer
sailing toward America:
Today the ship is plying very smoothly. I feel today better. But I am feeling separa-
tion from Sri Vrindaban and my Lords Sri Govinda, Gopinath, Radha Damodar. The
only solace is Sri Chaitanya Charitamrita in which I am tasting the nectarine of Lord
Chaitanya’s Leela. I have left Bharat Bhumi just to execute the order of Sri Bhakti Sid-
dhanta Saraswati in pursuance of Lord Chaitanya’s order. I have no qualification, but
I have taken up the risk just to carry out the order of His Divine Grace. I depend fully
on Their mercy so far away from Vrindaban.
Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda, I offer you my respectful homage again and again for your faith in your
spiritual master. Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda, I am writing this offering to you personally from the
bottom of my heart. Please, if I have any talent within me that will allow me to help my spiritual
master fulfill his mission, please bring it out. Help us better serve and guide these people who are
so thirsty for your teachings but who know nothing of the process. Again and again, I offer you
my respectful homage!

Our dearest Śrīla Prabhupāda,
Please accept our most humble obeisances at your divine lotus feet. All glories to Your Divine Grace.
On this most auspicious occasion of your 130th Vyāsa-pūjā, we, your insignificant servants at ISKCON Pandharpur, gather with hearts filled with gratitude to offer our humble homage unto your lotus feet. By your causeless mercy, we are able to engage in your divine mission, and it is only by your inspiration that even our smallest efforts bear fruit.
With great joy and humility, we present a brief report of your mission’s progress in the holy land of Śrī Pandharpur Dhāma.
Transcendental book distribution: During this year’s marathon, your dedicated devotees distributed 18,259 transcendental books, along with two complete sets of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam. Your vāṇī continues to transform lives, illuminating countless hearts with Kṛṣṇa consciousness.
Bhūvaikuṇṭha temple construction: The construction of the grand ISKCON Bhūvaikuṇṭha Pandharpur temple is steadily progressing by your blessings. We are pleased to report that the ground floor has now been completed, marking a significant milestone in manifesting this divine project. For the promotion of Śrīdhāma Pandharpur, and especially the Bhūvaikuṇṭha temple project, we hosted a convention of press reporters from Maharashtra State – counting around 1,200 reporters.
Bhūvaikuṇṭha Sevā Nidhi (BSN): To expand participation in your mission, we have launched the Bhūvaikuṇṭha Sevā Nidhi scheme, encouraging mass involvement through small hundi collections, allowing everyone to render service according to their capacity.
Chandrabhaga guest house development: By your mercy, this facility has expanded significantly and now accommodates 110 rooms, along with enhanced service quality, offering devotees a peaceful and spiritually uplifting stay. Also, we were successful in getting drainage and the road sanctioned by the government, and the work is now almost completed.
Jagannath mandir guest house: Additional rooms have been added, bringing the total to eleven rooms, further supporting the growing number of visiting devotees.
A flourishing brahmacārī ashram: Our ashram is now home to more than fifty sincere brahmacārīs, who are dedicated to a life of discipline, study, and devotional service, strengthening the spiritual backbone of the temple.
Daily harināma-saṅkīrtana: Devotees go out for harināma-saṅkīrtana daily at various places to distribute the choicest gift of hari-nāma to countless souls. Also, all brahmacārīs come together and read your books.
New bhakta training: We are blessed to have six new devotees undergoing structured training, preparing them for a life of committed devotional service under your shelter.
Youth preaching expansion: Along with ongoing youth initiatives, we have now started preaching at MIT Alandi, reaching new young minds and inspiring them in Kṛṣṇa consciousness.
Congregation preaching growth: To bring devotees closer to the temple and enhance their engagement, several new nāma-haṭṭa (satsang) centers have been established in nearby areas, including Degaon, Bhose, Takali, Manisha Nagar, and Akluj, strengthening the local devotional community.
These offerings are but a tiny attempt to serve your unlimited mission, Śrīla Prabhupāda. Every step forward is a reflection of your mercy and vision, and we remain ever dependent on your guidance.
On this sacred day of your Vyāsa-pūjā, we sincerely pray that we may continue to serve your instructions with sincerity, unity, and determination. May we always remain instruments in your hands, dedicated to spreading the holy names and teachings of Śrī Kṛṣṇa to every town and village. Jaya Śrīla Prabhupāda!

Most worshipable Śrīla Prabhupāda,
Please accept our most humble obeisances unto the dust of your divine lotus feet.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, time and again you instructed your disciples to tax their brains for how to
increase the sales of your books. You will be pleased to know that we have accepted these words
of yours as our heart and soul and have plunged ourselves into the mission of book distribu-
tion. Our efforts are not just bearing fruit; they are bearing golden fruit. Our Jai Nitai Task
Force (Youth Team for Boys) and Damayanti group (Youth Team for Girls) as well as our con-
gregational members have made book distribution their only ambition and meditation. Not just
during Gītā Jayantī or the Bhadra Pūrṇimā campaign, but throughout the year, these devotees are
engaged in – and rather attached to – book distribution.
Almost every Sunday they go out on book distribution. Most remarkably, last year they distrib-
uted books all night during the four days of Durgā-pūjā, starting from shasti to navami. Countless
books were distributed.
You taught us that we are also like that Mahiṣāsura buffalo demon, as we consider ourselves the
enjoyer of Kṛṣṇa’s property – a very demoniac mentality. And Devī Durgā, the external energy of
Kṛṣṇa, punishes us by striking us with her trident, which signifies the threefold miseries. To save
the ignorant from the assaults of the external energy, the devotees of ISKCON Panihati will dis-
tribute your books during Durgā-pūjā profusely.
Our efforts are specifically channeled to distributing Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam sets during the Bhadra
Pūrṇimā campaign, and by your causeless mercy we distributed 424 sets last year. The greatest
contribution to our achieving this target most importantly goes to the Harivasar group, under the
able guidance of His Grace Sumitra Kṛṣṇa Prabhu.
Also, every Sunday afternoon the boys of our Jai Nitai Task Force go out on nāgara-saṅkīrtana.
They sing and distribute books as well. Thus we have saṅkīrtana with mṛdaṅga as well as with the
bṛhad-mṛdaṅga.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, we have also arranged a special program every Ekādaśī where we invite
devotees to come to the temple and chant sixty-four rounds for the pleasure of Kṛṣṇa. We give
them free prasādam, and we get a good response. Also on Ekādaśīs, we hold twelve-hour kīrtanas.
In this way the devotees receive substantial spiritual nourishment.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, you will be pleased to know that the Abhay Charan television serial, which
was created and produced by your dearest disciple, His Holiness Bhakti Chāru Swami Mahārāja,
has been translated into Bengali. This epic series will now be watched by Bengali audiences, who
are sadly unaware of your unparalleled achievements. Making this happen was a special initiative
of ISKCON Panihati. We translated all forty-five episodes – each is thirty minutes long – into
Bengali, then put them onto a specially designed 60 GB pen drive. Both the devotees and the
nondevotees, after buying the pen drives and watching the serial, are becoming enlightened by
your teachings and the philosophy of Kṛṣṇa consciousness. They are getting to know a lot about
the sacrifice you voluntarily underwent to deliver us from the prison house of this material world.
They are appreciating our initiative very much.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, another initiative we’ve developed is to get the book, The Glorious History of
Panihati, translated into Hindi. In this way, even non-Bengali-speaking people can get to know
the glories of Panihati-dhāma. Our dream is to translate the book into all the languages on earth
and attract people from all over the world to Panihati so we can serve them the mercy of Lord
Nityānanda in the form of chipped rice and yogurt prasādam.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, you will also be pleased to know that one of our senior devotees, His
Grace Govindānanda Prabhu, whose contribution to the growth of ISKCON Panihati has been
significant, has recently received sannyāsa initiation from His Holiness Jayapatāka Swami in
Māyāpur on the auspicious occasion of Gaura-Pūrṇimā. His sannyāsa name is His Holiness Bhakti
Sāra Govindānanda Swami. Mahārāja is still serving relentlessly to further the spiritual prosperity
of our temple.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, just as when you arrived in America you considered yourself a mere puppet
in Kṛṣṇa’s hands, so we are placing ourselves before you as your puppets. The achievement is
yours only, Śrīla Prabhupāda, and all praises must flow to you. We are not preachers; we are not
the doers. We are neither preaching nor doing anything. We are merely distributing your books
and acting as peons, and it is you who is preaching through your books. We can do something
for Kṛṣṇa’s service only because you empower us. You are pulling the strings, and we are simply
moving like puppets. Please empower us more and more to act like your puppets and spread your
glories far and wide to every nook and corner of this world.

Most worshipable Śrīla Prabhupāda,
Please accept our most humble obeisances unto the dust of your divine lotus feet.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, your divine vision and prediction about Panihati are gradually manifesting before our eyes. You mercifully said that the ISKCON center in Panihati would become a very important center, because it is connected to the waterways. Today, we are witnessing how your words are proving true by your causeless mercy.
Devotees from all parts of India and many countries across the world are coming to Panihati to receive the blessings of this sacred dhāma. As the glories of Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu and Lord Nityānanda Prabhu’s transcendental pastimes in Panihati are spreading everywhere, more and more devotees are becoming attracted to visit this holy place.
Many exalted GBC gurus and ISKCON sannyāsīs are frequently visiting Panihati and showering their blessings upon the temple and its devotees. Their presence further inspires devotees of ISKCON Panihati temple to increase their service mood and deepen their commitment to your instructions.
To facilitate this growing service, arrangements are being made for proper accommodation for visiting devotees and senior Vaiṣṇavas. Land is being acquired and flats are being purchased so that devotees coming from around the world may stay comfortably and engage in devotional service. At the same time, devotees who desire to reside near ISKCON Panihati temple and dedicate their lives to serving the exalted visiting Vaiṣṇavas are also being given opportunities to stay close to the temple and assist in your mission.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, you would also be overjoyed to know that many young devotees are now determined to dedicate their lives fully to Kṛṣṇa consciousness and are preparing to join the ISKCON Panihati temple as new brahmacārīs. These enthusiastic young devotees are eager to surrender their lives in your service.
You will also be pleased to know, Śrīla Prabhupāda, that during the Bhadra Pūrṇimā campaign, the devotees of ISKCON Panihati distributed 495 sets of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam. During the recent Gaura-Pūrṇimā festival in 2026, many sets of Caitanya-caritāmṛta were also distributed. Your books are entering countless homes and hearts, carrying your transcendental message and transforming lives. The devotees of ISKCON Panihati are determined to keep the mercy of Lord Caitanya flowing continuously and to widen the smile on your divine face by sincerely serving your mission.
Our book, The Glories of Panihati, is also steadily gaining wide appreciation and heartfelt admiration throughout the ISKCON community and even beyond. Devotees and seekers alike are becoming deeply inspired by the sublime pastimes of Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu and Lord Nityānanda Prabhu revealed in this sacred place. To expand its reach and spread the glories of Panihati on an even grander scale, the book is now being published through Golden Age Media Publishers so that this transcendental message may enter more homes, hearts, and lives across the world.
After being translated into Bengali and Hindi, the book is also now translated into Tamil, and very soon it will be rendered into more languages. With the ambitious desire to carry the glories of Panihati Dhāma to every nook and corner of the world, this humble effort seeks to ensure that the mercy of Lord Caitanya and Lord Nityānanda reaches hearts across all borders, languages, and cultures.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, whatever little service is taking place here is only by your causeless mercy, your blessings, and your divine arrangement. We have no qualification of our own; we are simply trying to become instruments in fulfilling your desire.
Please continue to guide, protect, and bless ISKCON Panihati so that this center may flourish more and more as a powerful center of Kṛṣṇa consciousness, distributing the mercy of Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu and Lord Nityānanda Prabhu to the entire world. We pray that we may always remain united in your service, faithful to your instructions, and engaged in widening your smile by sincerely serving your mission life after life.

Please accept my humble obeisances.
This year in France we celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the installation of your dearest Kṛṣṇa-Balarāma Deities at New Māyāpura Dhāma. May they grant us spiritual strength so that we can overcome our anarthas, be fixed up in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, and cooperatively serve your mission in France.
By casting your merciful glance on France, you offered us both the gradual and the fast track processes for purification: “One can gradually become purified by seeing, touching, and worshiping temple Deities, places of pilgrimage, and holy rivers. But one can attain the same result immediately simply by receiving the glance of exalted sages.” (Bhāgavatam 10.86.52)
We may not have received your physical glance in this life, still, we can experience your divine presence in your books, recorded lectures, conversations, letters, and in your mūrti form. We can feel how deep is your compassion by hearing your pastimes from the lips of your sincere disciples and followers.
As far as we in Paris are concerned, the government is increasingly embracing the Indian culture. Last month, a new Indian cultural center opened in the heart of Paris, next to the Eiffel Tower. We were invited for the inauguration, and devotee artists from Belgium are now having an exhibition there for a few months. In the Paris region, a big temple from the Swami Narayan community is about to open at the end of 2026. We are also connected with them and hope to hold kirtans and classes there.
Meanwhile, your beloved Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Parisīśvara are kindly tolerating our lack of experience and maturity. You wrote, “I am also glad to hear that in your temple no one misses mangala arati and that everyone is becoming steady and peaceful in their service. It sounds as if you are taking care of your men very nicely. This is first class management. Please continue in this kind of management.” (Letter to Kurusrestha, Bombay, 28 December 1974)
Sorry for not being up to this level yet. Also, I feel deeply ashamed to see such a poor facility for both the Deities and the devotees. Still, Rādhārāṇī’s lotus hand is delicately pouring mercy upon us all to push on the mission, and attracting more and more souls to take shelter in Kṛṣṇa consciousness.
Even if we struggle to reach the standard They deserve, our attempt to follow your instructions is improving the situation day after day. We are still a small team of ten to twenty devotees living in the temple or close by. Our congregation is growing in number and maturity, but unfortunately, we must admit that we hardly attract locals to the temple. We try our best to reach out with harināma, book distribution, programs at the temple, home programs, kirtan events, and online programs … only by your mercy will these attempts bring a change in people’s lives.
My dear Lord Nṛsiṁhadeva, I see that there are many saintly persons indeed, but they are interested only in their own deliverance. Not caring for the big cities and towns, they go to the Himalayas or the forest to meditate with vows of silence [mauna-vrata]. They are not interested in delivering others. As for me, however, I do not wish to be liberated alone, leaving aside all these poor fools and rascals. I know that without Kṛṣṇa consciousness, without taking shelter of Your lotus feet, one cannot be happy. Therefore I wish to bring them back to shelter at Your lotus feet. (Bhāgavatam 7.9.44)
After regularly touring in Paris for few months, our saṅkīrtana party unfortunately has stopped these past months. We are sorry for that. You wrote, “To manage a sankirtana party nicely is more precious than all other activities. That is the verdict of Bhagavad-gita and the mission of Lord Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.” (Letter to Tamala Krishna, Bombay, 13 November 1975)
Book publication is finding a second breath also, with dedicated devotees patiently investing their time and energy in BBT-related services. New titles are about to come, including a reprint of Bhagavad-gītā As It Is. You wrote, “Our first important business is to hold Sankirtana as many times as possible. The next important business is publication work.” (Letter to Krishna Dasa, Los Angeles, 28 July 1969)
Book distribution is still going on, but less intensely compared to past years in terms of scores, but more and more devotees are entering the dance on a regular basis. Having said that, while finding ever fresh happiness in the preaching field, it is heartbreaking to see practicing devotees leaving your divine ISKCON boat in the hope of finding greener grass … in vain. Please kindly forgive our shortcomings and enlighten us not to commit the same mistakes.
One of your faithful disciples recently told me that we need more than better facilities for the Deities; our first priority should be to take care of the devotees. Indeed, how long can we continue preaching to newcomers without caring for the practicing devotees? How long can we distribute books without developing relationships with the people? How long can we neglect the needs of senior devotees, who dedicated their life and soul to your mission?
Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda, if you feel I can be of any help in this regard, please engage me. With the blessings of my spiritual master, our GBC leaders, some senior devotees, and my wife, I decided to step aside from work – at least temporarily – to step back into deepening relationships, explore new areas of preaching, and dedicate more time to your mission. My only hope in this attempt is to please you and Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Parisīśvara.
Please kindly guide us, and please kindly keep us on the bona fide path of Kṛṣṇa consciousness.
An unqualified servant of your servant,
Jīva Praṇa Dāsa
On behalf of the management team of Rādhā-Parisīśvara Mandir
