Bambra, Australia

Our dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,

Please accept our humble obeisances at your divine lotus feet. All glories to you, our savior from the repeated cycle of birth and death.

On this most auspicious occasion of your Vyāsa-pūjā, we, the residents of Krishna Valley, in Bambra, Australia, offer our heartfelt gratitude for your boundless mercy and compassion. By your divine vision and tireless efforts, you have given the world the greatest treasure – the chanting of the holy names of the Lord – and a practical way of life centered on devotion, simplicity, and service.

Śrīla Prabhupāda, Krishna Valley exists only because of your desire to establish farm communities, where people can live in harmony with nature, protect cows, grow their own food, and cultivate Kṛṣṇa consciousness in a natural and joyful way. Every tree, every garden bed, every kirtan, and every guest who walks through our gates is a reflection of your mercy.

We especially pray for your blessings as we strive to expand our outreach by welcoming more visitors and tourists to Krishna Valley. We see this not as a material endeavor, but as an opportunity to serve your mission and to give people a glimpse of a spiritually vibrant lifestyle. When guests come here, take prasādam, walk through the gardens, meet the cows, and hear the holy name, their hearts are touched in ways that words alone cannot achieve.

Please empower us to develop this place in such a way that it becomes a beacon of spiritual hospitality, where people from all walks of life feel nourished, uplifted, and inspired to inquire about higher truths. Let our efforts to increase tourism be guided by sincerity, purity, and a genuine desire to serve, not by profit or prestige.

Kindly help us to work cooperatively, selflessly, and enthusiastically, so that Krishna Valley may flourish as a living example of your teachings. May every visitor leave with the seed of bhakti planted in their heart, and may we always remember that we are simply instruments in your divine plan.

We are eternally indebted to you, Śrīla Prabhupāda, for giving us this path, this community, and this opportunity to serve.

Your servants,

The residents of Krishna Valley

Bangkok, Thailand

Hare Kṛṣṇa dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,

Please accept our humble obeisances at your lotus feet. All glories to Your Divine Grace.

As per Your Divine Grace’s desire to train youths in both the material and spiritual spheres and reach out to the local Thai people, we have been running a student center in Bangkok under the guidance of your senior disciples and our śīkṣā- and dīkṣā-gurus, His Holiness BVV Narasiṁha Mahārāja, His Holiness Kavicandra Mahārāja, and His Holiness Jayapatāka Mahārāja, all GBC secretaries of ISKCON Thailand. What follows is an account of some of our activities and outcomes:

  • Resident local Thai youths: Around 10–12 Thai youths stay at the center and perform simple morning/evening Kṛṣṇa conscious programs – japa and kirtan, discussion on spiritual topics, cooking and cleaning. During the day, they study at nearby universities: Assumption (ABAC) University, Ramkamheng University, Stamford University, Kasetsart University, and others, and acquire a material education as per their interest and/or parents’ sponsorship. In the last twenty years since our center was established, a few dozen local and international students have benefitted from this scheme. Most of them have continued their spiritual life and several are initiated, and assist in spreading the mission of Lord Gaurāṅga in Thailand and other parts of the world.
  • Weekly Saturday program: Around 20–30 devotees and others gather and perform kirtan, read and discuss the Bhagavad-gītā, which has been translated into Thai, attend Gaura-ārati, and honor prasādam. The resident youths help organize the program alongside the senior congregation members who live around the area.
  • Outreach programs: We have bhakti-vṛkṣa and children’s programs in the Sukumvit and Sathorn areas. We’ve been conducting these programs for around a decade, mostly on Friday evenings or Sunday mornings, as per the convenience of the host and leading devotees. Harināmas and other kirtans along with book distribution are held at times in nearby parks or areas such as Ramkamheng, Bangkapi, and Lumphini, and sometimes in trips from Bangkok to nearby cities like Pranburi, Suphanburi and Ayutthaya. We also hold yoga and mantra meditation sessions, organized at universities or other schools by the friends and acquaintances of the resident youth or members of our congregation.

Please continue to bless us, guide us, and give us your shelter through the association of senior Vaiṣṇavas – your disciples and granddisciples. Also, may we be able to assimilate more spiritual knowledge by studying your books deeply and may we relish the nectar of the holy names in the Hare Kṛṣṇa mantra. May we continue to be an instrument for delivering the message of Lord Kṛṣṇa and Lord Gaurāṅga to the people of Thailand and worldwide. We hope and wish our endeavors please you and the previous ācāryas.

Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,
Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to you.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, you accomplished the magnificent task of delivering the nectar of Kṛṣṇa
consciousness in a remarkably short period to a humanity engulfed in darkness. You showed
the world the simple path of kṛṣṇa-bhakti. Through your conduct, you taught the lessons of
kṛṣṇa-bhakti.
We see the fulfillment of the prophecy made by Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu through Your Divine
Grace. India, a land sanctified by the thoughts of saints, witnessed numerous invasions that led
to the decline of the culture and faith of the common people. The country was under foreign rule
when, by the will of God, you were born in India.
Initially, various paths to attain God were being preached in India and the world, excluding
kṛṣṇa-bhakti. However, the message of God was not reaching the common people in its pure form.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, you conveyed this pure message of God to the world and triggered a massive
spiritual revolution.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, you were nurtured in kṛṣṇa-bhakti from a young age. Your father desired for
you to become a devotee of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī, so he taught you the lessons of kṛṣṇa-bhakti from
an early age. Similarly, Śrīla Prabhupāda, you established gurukulas to impart kṛṣṇa-bhakti to chil-
dren from a young age. Today, thousands of gurukulas worldwide are sowing the seeds of Kṛṣṇa
consciousness in young minds.
Initially Śrīla Prabhupāda, you wanted to participate in the Indian freedom struggle to free
India from foreign rule. You were influenced by Mahatma Gandhi’s principles of nonviolence and
Satyagraha. However, after receiving your guru’s orders, you undertook the monumental task of
freeing humanity from the clutches of māyā.
The year 1922 holds immense significance in human history, as it was the year you met your
guru, Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura. You were previously undefeated, but you were
vanquished by your guru’s words, and this defeat turned out to be the greatest victory for
humanity.
Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura prophesied that a Vaiṣṇava would be born who would spread the name
of Caitanya Mahāprabhu worldwide and create a buzz of harināma in the Western world. We are
witnessing the fulfillment of this prophecy. Today, the Hare Kṛṣṇa mantra resounds across the
globe in millions of homes, temples, streets, and public meeting places.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, your writings are the greatest treasure for humanity. Your books are like bea-
cons guiding us on the path of kṛṣṇa-bhakti. Before you, Śrīla Prabhupāda, many had attempted
to spread the message, but none had clearly stated that Kṛṣṇa is the Supreme Personality of God-
head. However, you explicitly conveyed this message, and your books have been widely accepted
by people worldwide. So far, nearly 500 million books have been distributed globally.
In the initial days, Śrīla Prabhupāda, you put immense effort into book writing and distribu-
tion. Not a single day passed when you didn’t write. This year, our Baramati center distributed
more than 13,000 books. It is our highest record till now.
Your instruction that no person within a 40-km radius of a temple should go hungry has been
a significant contribution to the well-being of many. Today, millions of people receive free kṛṣṇa-
prasādam. During the COVID-19 pandemic and other natural calamities, devotees serve as many
people as possible, following your instructions.
At the age of five you began the Jagannātha Ratha-yātrā at your home. You were fascinated by
Jagannātha Purī from a young age. After starting your preaching mission in the Western world,
Śrīla Prabhupāda, you were the first to take Jagannātha, Baladeva, and Subhadrā Mahārāṇī out
of India. Today, the Ratha-yātrā is celebrated on a massive scale in many countries, and millions
have received the mercy of Lord Jagannātha. We also started holding Ratha-yātrā in Baramati,
and this has created a joyful atmosphere among the devotees. As in the verse guru-mukha-padma-
vākya, Śrīla Prabhupāda, you accomplished this task with the blessings of your guru and Lord
Kṛṣṇa.
To spread kṛṣṇa-bhakti you had to navigate extremely challenging times. You didn’t receive sig-
nificant cooperation from Indian society, the government, materialistic life, or your godbrothers.
Even before traveling to America, you faced struggles, which continued after your arrival there.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, initially you showered your mercy on those rejected by society – the hippies,
who had only one rule: break all the rules. You educated these young people, who came from the
lower rungs of society, in the scriptures.
Lord Kṛṣṇa says in the Bhagavad-gītā that out of thousands of people, hardly one can under-
stand Him, and out of them, only one rare soul can understand Kṛṣṇa as the Supreme Personality
of Godhead. But by your mercy, millions of people today have accepted Śrī Kṛṣṇa as their every-
thing. We repeatedly offer our humble obeisances at your lotus feet.

Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,

Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Your Divine Grace.

Śrīla Prabhupāda, out of causeless mercy upon the people of Kali-yuga, you descended to this earth by the will of Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa. The prophecy of your appearance is found in the scriptures and in the words of the ācāryas.

Śrīla Prabhupāda, you are an eternal associate of the Lord. By spreading sanātana-dharma across the world, you connected millions of people to Kṛṣṇa consciousness. This is your greatest compassion upon humanity.

Śrīla Prabhupāda, at the time of your appearance, neither India nor the Western world were favorable to the propagation of devotion. India was undergoing a struggle for independence, while the West was experiencing excess freedom. In such difficult circumstances, you accepted the responsibility of spreading sanātana-dharma on the order of your guru and fulfilled it successfully through great struggle.

Śrīla Prabhupāda, you received Vaiṣṇava saṁskāras from your father. Your guru, Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura, instructed you to preach Kṛṣṇa consciousness to the Western world. Though India was under foreign rule, your guru directed you to free people from the bondage of māyā. This instruction became a great blessing for humanity. You liberated countless souls from true bondage.

Śrīla Prabhupāda, the beautiful temples you established worldwide are one of your greatest contributions. Their cleanliness, management, decoration, worship, and Deity service are unparalleled. Today, millions are attracted to ISKCON temples and are learning the teachings of the Bhagavad-gītā and Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam. These temples have become a global inspiration.

Śrīla Prabhupāda, the prasādam served in your temples is another great attraction. Your instruction that no one should remain hungry has borne fruit. This sattvic food is reaching many, even as midday meals in schools. Many people are becoming devotees through prasādam.

Śrīla Prabhupāda, your books are one of your most important contributions. You translated scriptures written in Sanskrit into simple English, making them accessible to all. You presented pure Vedic knowledge and revealed deep spiritual truths in a simple way. Your books answer countless questions and act as a guiding light for the world. Humanity will always remain indebted to you.

Śrīla Prabhupāda, you lived a life full of struggle. At that time, devotion was challenged by philosophies like Māyāvāda, impersonalism, and voidism. You removed these obstacles and created a clear path, allowing conditioned souls like us to progress easily.

Śrīla Prabhupāda, before leaving this world, you gave us many pure disciples who continue your mission. Through them, your divine service is expanding globally.

Śrīla Prabhupāda, at the age of 70 you undertook the difficult journey on the Jaladuta to fulfill your guru’s order. Despite physical, financial, cultural, and environmental challenges, you continued preaching. Your life is an inspiration for every spiritual seeker.

Śrīla Prabhupāda, you accepted hardships to connect souls with the Lord and uplift humanity through Kṛṣṇa consciousness. Your contribution is a debt that can never be repaid.

Śrīla Prabhupāda, in Baramati, a center is serving with your blessings. Through youth programs, Bhagavad-gītā courses, pilgrimages, festivals, satsaṅgas, book distribution, and prasādam distribution, we are trying to serve society. We pray that your blessings always remain upon us.

Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to you.
With a heart full of gratitude, I turn to you to express my deepest appreciation for your incom-
parable sacrifice and mercy.
Despite all the difficulties – your advanced age, lack of resources, and the uncertainty of suc-
cess – you crossed the ocean with unwavering faith in the instructions of your spiritual master and
Lord Caitanya’s mission.
Thanks to your courage, millions of souls, including us, have received the most precious jewel:
Kṛṣṇa consciousness.
When I reflect on your dedication and tireless struggle, I feel such inspiration and admiration.
You faced challenges that would have discouraged anyone, yet you never lost faith in the words of
Lord Kṛṣṇa and the potency of the holy name. Your example is my greatest inspiration, and yet I
see how far I am from the necessary level of dedication and purity.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, in these times of so much global instability and generational change, I feel
deep concern for the continuity of the movement. The new generations seem increasingly distant
from spiritual institutions and are immersed in a world that promotes materialism, distraction,
and skepticism. It pains me to see that so many souls are losing the opportunity to receive this
transcendental knowledge.
I beg you to grant us your grace to develop the capacity to inspire others in the mission of
Kṛṣṇa consciousness. May we serve with sincere hearts, intelligence, and determination, and may
we help, even in a small way, to continue your glorious mission in this world.
Without your mercy and Kṛṣṇa’s, I know I have no qualifications, but I trust that with your
blessing, anything is possible. Please, Śrīla Prabhupāda, allow me to be an instrument in your
hands.

Our most dear and worshipful A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda, all glories to you.

From Shadow to Service: Our Lives Awakened by Your Mercy

From time without beginning, we wandering jīvas
turn upon the wheel of our own choosing,
misdirecting that fragment of freedom,
turning away from our natural harmony with the Divine.

Covered by the ever-changing conditions of material nature,
we pass from one body to another,
sometimes rising, sometimes falling,
yet always mistaking the temporary for the eternal,
the reflection for the substance.

Thus, in ignorance, we too have wandered,
chasing fleeting shadows of happiness
across the vast expanse of repeated birth and death,
embracing again and again
that which can never satisfy the soul.

Bound by action and reaction,
and influenced by the three modes of material nature,
we have remained forgetful of our eternal identity
and of our loving relationship
with the Supreme Lord, Kṛṣṇa.

But you, O Śrīla Prabhupāda,
did not come into this world
under such conditions.
You did not arrive driven by karma,
nor compelled by the forces that bind the ordinary soul.

You were sent,
sent by the Supreme Lord Himself
as an instrument of His divine will
to awaken those who had forgotten Him.

An ever-liberated soul,
untouched by illusion,
you appeared among us as if one of us,
walking, speaking, acting within this world,
yet always established in transcendence.

An eternal servant of the Lord of Vraja,
a resident of Goloka Vṛndāvana,
you came to fulfill the deepest desire
of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu
that the holy names of the Lord
be heard in every town and village,
and that the sleeping souls of this age
be awakened to their eternal life of devotion.

Carrying forward the current of divine grace
revealed by Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura,
and powerfully established by
Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura,
You crossed oceans, cultures, and boundaries,
planting the seed of devotion
in hearts that had never before heard the name of Kṛṣṇa.

O Śrīla Prabhupāda, all glories to you,
At a time when our hearts were awakening
from the barren landscape of misunderstanding,
we found ourselves suspended in a strange emptiness,
caught in the painful grip of illusion.

Having wandered without direction,
having acted in ignorance,
we remained deprived of our eternal relationship
with Him – the Absolute Truth,
the Supreme Beauty.

Ignorant of His form, His abode, and His pastimes,
we found no true happiness
in this chaotic and suffering world.

In that helpless condition,
with all our hearts, our entire being, we prayed,
that someone who truly knew Him,
who had seen Him,
who lived in devotion to Him,
might come and guide us.

And by your causeless mercy,
you came.
Without delay,
you revealed the Supreme Person, Śrī Kṛṣṇa,
not as an abstract conception,
but as the all-attractive Lord of the heart.

You revealed Rādhā,
the highest embodiment of divine love,
and through your teachings,
you opened before us
the vision of an eternal spiritual family
we did not know we had lost.

You revealed the path of devotion,
not as sentiment,
but as the eternal function of the soul,
and by your mercy alone,
we came to take shelter
at your lotus feet.

Yet, O most merciful Śrīla Prabhupāda,
the shadows of illusion do not disappear at once,
and still, your compassion never diminishes.

Conditioned since time without beginning,
our hearts could not at once
cast off the coverings of forgetfulness,
yet you never abandon us.

For such is your mystic kindness:
that even through the movements of this world,
you guide, you arrange, you transform.

The experiences come,
sometimes gentle, sometimes severe,
yet never without purpose,
never beyond your care.

For you are always there,
not only as the instructing master,
but as the unseen guide of our lives,
quietly directing, carefully shaping,
leading us toward Kṛṣṇa step by step.

Even when we cannot understand,
your hand is ever present,
orchestrating each circumstance
with perfect wisdom,
knowing precisely what our souls require
to gently loosen the shackles
of material existence.

What we mistake for difficulty
is, in truth, your higher mercy.
What we perceive as loss
is your divine and compassionate arrangement
for our eternal gain
and the gentle dissolution of our false ego.

But more than freeing us
from the futility of this temporary world,
you have revealed to us
the reality of the spiritual world.

You have opened the path
of eternal devotion,
as illuminated by Rūpa Gosvāmī,
and granted us shelter
at the feet of our revered guru-varga.

Through your teachings,
you gently awaken within our hearts
a deep and sacred attraction
for the divine service
of Śrī Śrī Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa,
the eternal Divine Couple,
the very essence and ultimate conclusion
of all Vedic revelation.

You unveiled not only philosophy,
but the inner current of devotion,
a glimpse of your own heart,
absorbed in loving service.

And by your causeless mercy,
our hearts have begun, however faintly,
to turn in that same direction.

Now, by your mercy,
Only service to Kṛṣṇa holds meaning.
Only the realm of divine love appears real.
All else slowly fades,
like a dream at dawn.

In this way, O Śrīla Prabhupāda,
you have given us everything –
purpose, direction, identity,
and the hope of one day rendering loving service
under your guidance
at the lotus feet of
Śrī Śrī Rādhā and Govinda.

And if there is any way
to bring even a moment of satisfaction
to your compassionate heart,
we pray, with complete submission,
under the shelter of your divine lotus feet

That, though without qualification,
by your mercy alone,
we may assist, even in the smallest way,
in carrying forward your mission,
the eternal mission of
Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu,

that the holy names of Kṛṣṇa
will resound throughout this world,
awakening the wandering souls
to their eternal identity
as servants of the Absolute Truth.

You have given us everything –
knowledge, shelter, direction,
and the awakening
of a higher aspiration.

Still, we remain dependent,
at every step,
upon your continued grace.

We can only pray,
that we may never forget you,
that we may never turn away
from the path you have revealed,
and that we may remain always
under the shelter of your lotus feet.

Let our hearts be purified.
Let our intentions be made sincere.
Let our lives gradually become aligned
with the current of your mercy.

And if you so desire,
may the aspirations you have awakened,
one day mature
Into the genuine service
of Lord Caitanya and Nityānanda,
in the line of your eternal service.

For in truth,
we have nothing else to ask.
You have already given everything.

Let us simply remember this,
and remain always
your eternal servants.
