Vyāsa-pūjā 2023

Citra Vilāsinī Devī Dāsī (China - China)

My dear Guru Mahārāja,

Please accept my respectable obeisances. All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda. All glories to Your Divine Grace.

On your auspicious 74th Vyāsa-pūjā day, I beg to take this opportunity to glorify Your Divine Grace, although I am not qualified.

The Vedic culture is so nice that the disciples worship and honor the guru as a bona fide spiritual representative of the Supreme Lord. Disciples have nothing to do but surrender to the spiritual master. Śrīla Prabhupāda gave the example that if an iron rod is put in the fire, it will eventually become hot, until finally it acts as fire.

Śrīla Prabhupāda said the relationship of guru and śiṣya is not within this world. Only a bona fide spiritual master can impart the Supreme Truth. Your Divine Grace is so magnanimous and certainly you fulfill the part of a spiritual master, despite the inconvenience of your body.

“If by chance a servant falls down and goes somewhere else, glorious is that spiritual master who captures him and brings him back by his hair.” (Cc. Antya-līlā 4.47)

Dear Gurudeva, please forgive any of my offences and allow me to serve you incessantly for the rest of my life.

I pray for your improving health and long life.

Your insignificant servant,

Citra Vilāsinī Devī Dāsī
