All Glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda! All Glories to Guru Mahārāja's vyāsa-pūjā!

Guru Mahārāja…

Śrīla Prabhupāda's books and also having contact with Prabhu Hara Kānta Dāsa Brahmācarī's programs meant the beginning of a new life for me, and such mercy was immensely increased when I received the grace of being accepted as a disciple by Guru Mahārāja.

In this new life that we receive by accepting vaiṣṇava dīkṣa we have the opportunity to associate with the most incredible people among all, the devotees of Lord Kṛṣṇa.

Even within the Vaiṣṇava context, it's an enormous grace to be connected with ISKCON, which has the mood of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu and is the home of Śrīla Prabhupāda and his service to Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Prabhupāda.

And even within the context of ISKCON, it's special to have the opportunity to receive the mercy of taking shelter at the lotus feet of a pure devotee of Lord Kṛṣṇa, such as Guru Mahārāja, who is so surrendered and loyal to the mood and to the lotus feet of Śrīla Prabhupāda.

Śrī Nāthjī Prabhu, from Mumbai, many years ago declared in a class that he witnessed Śrīla Prabhupāda enthusiastically exclaim among many devotees that "Jayapatākā Dāsa Brahmacārī" (at that time) is an associate of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, who has accepted birth in the West to help him at ISKCON.

Such statement from Śrīla Prabhupāda has been proven by the transcendental activities of Guru Mahārāja since the beginning of your appearance on Earth.

How can we adequately describe the glories of a mahā-bhāgavata?

We may only try and also be sincerely and deeply grateful for your protection in this world of miseries and threats to a life of purity and culture.

Therefore I try to invoke within my weak heart all feelings of gratitude that I'm capable of to thank you for this special grace, Guru Mahārāja.

Guru Mahārāja instructed me to serve His Holiness by remaining at the service designated to me by Hara Kānta Prabhu, which is, above all, the distribution of Śrīla Prabhupāda's books. Due to my weakness, I couldn't remain fixed in this service throughout the years, and presently I'm not able to gather enough strength to dedicate myself to this service as I should and as I would like to, and so I've been busy mainly in other services also designated to me by Hara Kānta Prabhu.

Also under his instruction, recently I've moved with my wife, Tungavidyā Premā Devī Dāsī, and our children, Seva-priyā and Sarasvatī Rādhā, from the Curitiba temple to the temple at Itajaí, which is also among the set of temples conducted by Hara Kānta Prabhu.

I'd like to beg for your blessings, Guru Mahārāja, so that I may overcome all grave difficulties that disturb my service and trust in our culture; so that I may also adequately surrender at your lotus feet, Guru Mahārāja, and at the lotus feet of Śrīla Prabhupāda, by becoming more loving, meek and humble towards the Vaiṣṇavas in general, my wife and children and all living entities; and also so that I may ever more understand and assimilate the preaching mood desired by Śrīla Prabhupāda, Guru Mahārāja and Hara Kānta Prabhu.

I beg for your blessings, Guru Mahārāja, to Hara Kānta Prabhu, who is so neglected and misunderstood by the leadership in Brazil, so that Lord Kṛṣṇa, if He desires so, may make his preaching, which is so loyal to Śrīla Prabhupāda, to be recognized and expanded as it's deserves.

I beg for forgiveness for all my offenses, Guru Mahārāja, and also for the blessings so that I may redeem from all my offenses towards other vaiṣṇavas.

Again, thank you very much for all the mercy, From your spiritual son who needs your mercy,

Ekacakra Prāṇa Dāsa (Dīkṣā)

Itajaí, Brazil.
