Vyāsa-pūjā 2025

Shweta Indirala (Sydney - Australia)

Hare Kṛṣṇa, Dear Guru Mahārāja,

Please accept my respectful obeisances at your divine feet! All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda! All glories to you, Śrīla Gurudeva!

Guru Mahārāja, I had the pleasure of seeing you in Māyāpur last month and listening to your divine lectures on the Lotus rooftop. What a pleasure it was to see you face to face and observe how enthusiastic you are to bless all your devotees despite many constraints. On the day you had long meetings and dialysis, you still gave a class in the evening, which teaches us to have unwavering dedication and commitment to serve the Guru’s instruction at every moment of our life. Despite the pain and hurdles, you keep us motivated and enthusiastic in Kṛṣṇa consciousness.

I have recently completed the Bhakti-vṛkṣa course, and with your mercy, I am hoping to enroll soon in the Bhakti-śāstrī course under the guidance of Ānandamaya Gopīnātha dāsa Prabhu and Śrīguru Bhakti-devī dāsī Māta jī.

I am struggling a lot to manage my daily sādhana, Guru Mahārāja. I always feel that if I concentrate on one task, I rush through the others, not delivering my duties sincerely and failing to manage time effectively. Please bestow your mercy upon me so that I may fulfill my daily devotional service properly. By your mercy and the guidance of my mentors, I have started teaching children and leading kīrtanas within our Bhakti-vṛkṣa groups and Dāmodara home programs—something I never thought I would do.

By your mercy, Guru Mahārāja, I have tried many new recipes and cuisines for Bhakti-vṛkṣa devotees and for offering Chappan Bhoga. I am constantly learning and experimenting with different ways to serve you, dear Guru Mahārāja, and the Divine Lordships in Kṛṣṇa consciousness.

Listening to your transcendental lectures has inspired me to read Śrīla Prabhupāda’s books daily and to correct my behavior and thinking from time to time according to your instructions. I particularly felt your strong presence with me while I was in India, surrounded by my non-devotee relatives who were unhappy and confused about my regulative eating habits. My young children always ensured that I carried a photo of you in my purse wherever I went, and we felt your protection at all times. With your mercy, we were able to escape unfavorable situations and stay strong together as a family, choosing the Kṛṣṇa conscious path and transcending the mundane world.

Guru Mahārāja, thank you for always blessing us and bringing us closer to Kṛṣṇa. My sincere prayers to Lord Narasiṁhadeva for your divine protection and well-being.

Your lazy, sheltered disciple,
Śvetā Indiralā
