Dear Spiritual Master,
Please accept my respectful and heartfelt obeisances at Your divine lotus feet.
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!
All glories unto You!
All glories to Your mercy!
All glories to Your auspicious appearance day!
My dear Gurudeva, Your glories are infinite. I feel unqualified to glorify You.
You are the representative of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī and the carrier of Śrī Nityānanda Prabhu’s mercy. I am the most fallen in this world. Only by Your mercy have You given me Your divine shelter. You are trying to save me in so many ways, but I am such a fool that I can’t help You in any regard. I am committing many offenses at Your lotus feet regularly. I can’t follow Your divine instructions because of my ignorance. In spite of all this, You are showering Your mercy and showing me the path all the time.
I may not have enough sukṛti—that I haven’t gotten the opportunity to have Your darśana physically yet.
My dear father, on this journey of Kṛṣṇa consciousness, I am trapped by lust, anger, greed, and other bad qualities. They have tied me down with the weight of my past mistakes, and I feel powerless against them. Caught in their grip, I am struggling and suffering. In this helpless state, I call out to You for protection.
Oh Guru Mahārāja, my heart is full of selfish desires, my mind is deceitful, and my senses are uncontrolled. Yet, even in this troubled state, I fail to seek refuge at Your divine lotus feet, which alone can fulfill all desires.
My dear spiritual father, please bless this foolish daughter of Yours so that I may always remain at Your lotus feet, serve You sincerely, and carry forward Your mission with dedication. May I never become a burden, but rather a worthy disciple—striving to make You happy with every step I take.
I humbly pray for Your blessings and forgiveness for all the offenses I have committed, knowingly and unknowingly.
Your unworthy, insignificant servant,
Sonu (sheltered)
