Hare Kṛṣṇa, Dear Guru Mahārāja,

Please accept my respectful obeisances at your lotus feet on the very auspicious occasion of your 76th Vyāsa-pūjā.

All glories to Jagad-guru Śrīla Prabhupāda!
All glories to you, Gurudeva!

My Dear Gurudeva,

First of all, I would like to humbly admit that glorifying you is not only difficult—it is truly beyond my comprehension. Your glories are innumerable. How you are able to engage and uplift countless souls around the world, inspiring even those of us far away to feel your presence so closely, is simply miraculous.

I am insignificant, yet I attempt here to give words to the blessings I have received from you and your senior disciples.

As shared in my recent emails, I have been engaged in the preaching service of IYF junior girls at ISKCON Chandigarh. While composing one of those mails, my heart held many small questions, but I consolidated them into one:
"How to encourage the girls to chant and read regularly, especially since they are school and college students struggling to manage their time?"

True to what everyone says—that the Guru knows the heart of the disciple—you not only answered this question but went beyond it. You guided me to connect with your dear disciple Her Grace Śrīmonī Mātaji, serving in Śrīdhāma Māyāpur. Opening my heart to her, I poured out the many small yet troubling questions cluttering my mind. She guided me with such clarity and care. I remain ever grateful for her guidance—and your mercy in orchestrating it.

You also expressed your desire to receive a video report of the preaching efforts so that you could bless all the young girls with your glance. With great enthusiasm, we created one! The girls were joyful to introduce themselves, and for me, it felt as though I was flying all the way to Māyāpur to give you a personal report.

When you replied saying that seeing people happy in Kṛṣṇa consciousness makes you happy, I realized what a profound blessing it was to be a part of bringing even a small smile to your heart. This gave me renewed determination to continue in sādhana and service with even greater sincerity.

At times I doubt whether it's possible for me to go back to Godhead in this very life. But, Gurudeva, your birthday message to me changed everything. You wrote:

“I am sending my blessings for your birthday. Kṛṣṇe matir astu! May this be your last birth in the material world. I pray for you regularly in front of the Deities. You are my dear dīkṣā daughter, Premeśvarī Haripriyā Devī Dāsī, and I would like to see that you always practice Kṛṣṇa consciousness your whole life and go back to Godhead.”

Reading those words, I made a vow to myself: “If my Gurudeva is praying for me to go back to Godhead, then I must take this goal with the utmost seriousness.”

Gurudeva, I pray to Gaura-Nitāi to always bless you with strength and robust health so that you may continue serving Śrīla Prabhupāda’s mission. I also pray to Lord Narahari to always protect you.

On this glorious day, I beg for your blessings and mercy so I may perform all my responsibilities with enthusiasm and sincerity. Kindly bless me that we may expand our preaching activities manyfold.

Thank you, Gurudeva, from the bottom of my heart, for accepting me under your divine shelter.

Your eternal servant and daughter,
Premeśvarī Haripriyā Devī Dāsī
