Vyāsa-pūjā
1984
Dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda,
Please accept my respectful obeisances. All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda! All glories to Śrī Śrī Rādhā Mādhava! All glories to Śrīdhāma Māyāpur!
On this auspicious day when the world has gifted to have your appearance, I am overflowing with the thoughts of your wonderful personality which constantly reminds me of Śrīla Prabhupāda and Śrī Śrī Pañca-tattva.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, “The real saint is he who is most addicted to Śrī Kṛṣṇa”. W hen your voice resounds in the Candrodaya Mandir hall “Nitāi Gaura Premānande Hari Hari bol! I remember these words. You are fully absorbed in the pastimes of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu and you are distributing that premānanda to everyone freely.
When I see the Gurukula children running to see you with garlands in their hands and big smiles on their faces, a great hope swells in my heart about the golden tomorrow of Vaiṣṇava samūha.
Your kīrtanas, your lectures, your stories-everything-give a wonderful experience, reminding us the glorious saṅkīrtana līlās of Śrī Gaurāṅga Mahāprabhu.
Please accept my respectful obeisances a thousand times more at your lotus feet on this great day.
All glories to Śrīla Ācāryapāda!
Your humble servant,
Ātmatattva Dāsa
Gurukula, Śrīdhāma Māyāpur.
Fame, fortune, distinction, obsession with flaunted desires;
Mirrored with shame, misfortune. And ultimate extinction.
With education, exploring new realms; honoured shackles now cleanly severed
What care is there for revered temporal existence?
Flashes of light as our train scream by;
Tender caresses of family and friends,
Now, ice-cold carcasses and pale blue faces;
New love replacing old as bold adventures strike our course —
Timid youth automatically expelled.
As the whistle blows the journey unfolds.
How man imposes so God disposes.
On the train of spiritual quest, one sees flickering images on the window of the mind.
Watch as the procession of humanity pays the passage of time.
Due to human fragility, we forget our position.
A warrior has to continue his fight.
Impatience spells weakness and confusion in flight.
A stead fast nature helps bridge lifeless gaps.
Watch the people; they come and go,
Almost all unable to see the goal.
So many stops confusing the soul.
Excessive attachment, unless anti-material, places the Supreme as merely ethereal.
Expectations curtailed, desires derailed,
A frustrated goal unless one fixes on the Supreme Absolute Soul.
What am I doing? Why am I here?
So often we hear.
An ongoing rule of truth to behold.
The bonafide source openly unfolds.
At each station a solid foundation; a platform for one is having eyes to see and ears to hear.
Bewildering condition for one afflicted with attachment to these shadowy images.
See victory as conquest facing empty foes; now face yourself, O kṛpana mentality,
lest self-interest grows!
Oh Arjuna, Let us follow your course,
Disregard selfish desire and firmly attach;
A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda is engineering the course.
We beg your service and to allow us to remain, inseparable, always riding your train.
Try and refine, as the mind unwinds.
Constantly reassert the finest line.
Kṛṣṇa is God,
The Supreme Soul and ultimate goal.
Next train is waiting.
Śrīla Jayapatākā is selling tickets and conducting from his onboard role.
O lost souls buy your ticket and grab a hold.
The train is leaving so everyone is being told.
On this train of spiritual quest
the name Ācāryapāda rings with great zest
spreading your mercy over the land.
We see you in passing, a burst of light, costantly in flight.
Your name is always flashing,
Please grant us passage through the night.
Śrīla Ācāryapāda is benediction distributing the light.
Thank you.
Your worthless servant,

Vyāsa-pūjā offering to His Divine Grace Jayapatākā Goswami Śrīla Ācāryapāda.
Appearing in direct disciplic line,
The right to preach on God’s behalf in thine.
To make your purpose and your interest mine-That is my duty.
Within this world, I can no worth in any action find
Than falling at your lotus feet, eternally resigned,
Begging your mercy!
In the nestle of your lotus feet,
The soul, whose sufferings are great, Refines his long-forgotten place, Regains his former beauty.
You are a mine of Grace Divine,
You are an ocean of mellow sweet,
In love of Kṛṣṇa all complete - Pure devotee.
Falling at your lotus feet,
I humbly beg your forgiveness for any offences and cry for your mercy,
Your servant,
Citraketu Dāsa
Dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda,
Please accept my humble obeisances, all glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.
That you are an empowered pure devotee of Kṛṣṇa can be judged, not by your title or position, but by the qualities which enable you to execute your duties in that position. Some of them are:
1. Your constant absorption in spreading the Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement.
2. Your special attachment to Śrīdhāma Māyāpur as “Prabhu-dattadeśa”
3. Your becoming ecstatically excited in performing Kirtan of elaborating the pastimes of Śrī Śrī Nitāi Gaurāṅga.
4. Your finding of good qualities in people, bringing them out and engaging them in Kṛṣṇa consciousness.
5. Your generously relishing the activities of Kṛṣṇa consciousness, beginning with chanting, dancing and feasting on Kṛṣṇa prasāda.
6. Your being simultaneously simple as a child and deep as an ocean.
7. Your exceptionally considerate personal dealings.
8. Your associating with everybody you come in contact with, so as to help them advance in Kṛṣṇa Consciousness.
9. You rushing from temple to temple, country to country, to give yourself to the devotees and Kṛṣṇa consciousness to the world.
10. Your renunciation of personal comport and sufficient rest in doing so (do you ever take a break?).
11. Your no fatigue in doing so, which is truly astonishing, being impossible for an ordinary person.
12. Your deep concern for the well being of ISKCON.
13. How you perform your guru ship in a spirit of service to Prabhupāda and to your disciples, with never the slightest tinge of enjoying mood.
14. Your readiness to preach Kṛṣṇa consciousness at any time of the day or night.
15. Your unlimitedly extending mercy to all classes of men. Some places you go to, even other gurus wouldn’t like to go.
16. Your perfect example of tridaṇḍi sannyāsi, especially in regard to eating habits and associating with women.
17. Your non-neglect of, rather your expertise in worldly dealings necessary for spreading the Kṛṣṇa Consciousness movement.
18. Your being devoid of the least trace of material desire.
I am so fortunate to be getting your intimate association now and then. However, I know that I am often neglectful in ordinary dealings. So Vyāsa-pūjā day gives me an opportunity to beg forgiveness for offenses; and, equally important to seriously meditate on how to increase my love for you. Even after being in your zone for over 6 years, 1 have very little to offer you beyond these words. When I bring at least one devotee then some devotees, and then many devotees to surrender at your lotus feet, then at last I may be able to feel that I have done some substantial service.
Despite my inability, I am still aspiring to join you in your eternal fourteen-worlds-preaching-tour, safe at prabhupad’s lotus feet.
Yours Servant,
Ilāpati Dāsa,
Malaysia
JAYATU ŚRĪLA ĀCĀRYAPĀDA
Today is a day of pleasure,
The appearance day of our beloved Godbrother;
Unto the lotus feet of his spiritual master
He surrenders his life forever,
With divine knowledge, pure intelligence,
He is saving the human race;
He can navigate the ship of devotional service —
All the glory to His Divine Grace.
Namhatta, the priceless gift of Nityānanda,
The holy name of Kṛṣṇa gives us Mahānanda,
Founding the Nāmahaṭṭa Saṅgas, village to village,
He is fulfilling Nityānanda’s divine desire in this age
To all living entities, whoever they may be,
He does not deprive anyone of his mercy,
He attracts everyone with his divine quality;
May this fallen soul serve him with purity.
You’re most fallen servant,
Jalatala Devī Dāsī god Sister,
Calcutta
My Dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda,
Please accept my humble obeisances, all glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.
As the time passes and you continue to permit me to serve you, I repeatedly realise tan you are a pure devotee.
The fact that you continually put my spiritual interest first, regardless of your benefit, shocks this dull animal, but much more such conduct is an important practical example of your purity.
You have, like Śrīla Prabhupāda, earned my heart and soul. Please continue indefinitely to use me as you see fit.
By His causeless mercy His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivendanta Swami Prabhupāda has given this hopeless criminal a true friend.
Sincerely,
Dr. Maheśvara Dāsa
Executive Secretary.

Dear Jayapatākā Mahārāja,
Please accept my prostrated obeisances millions of times in the dust of your lotus feet. All glories to our eternal father and spiritual guide Jagat guru Śrīla Prabhupāda.
Today I was reflecting on the inner spiritual nature of our ISKCON institution, the grand family of devotees fathered by Śrīla Prabhupāda and his spiritual children. And within this family I could see that certain elder brothers were especially empowered in different ways. And amongst all I considered that you, Śrīla Ācāryapāda, are particularly empowered as an ever-present voice of unity.
Śrīla Prabhupāda told us that the measure of our love for him will be seen in how we cooperate together. Thus, I can deduce that your love for Śrīla Prabhupāda must be great indeed as I have personally seen how you have strongly endeavored to create cooperation in all circles of ISKCON. Of course, there are unlimitedly more transcendental qualities that you possess, but this one in particular stands out as I think of the auspicious day of your Vyāsa-pūjā celebration.
I pray at the lotus feet of Śrīla Prabhupāda that I may increasingly obtain the special mercy of your association in service to Śrī Māyāpur Dhāma and Saṅkīrtana movement of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu. Although I am unworthy. I feel hopeful my prayer will be fulfilled, as I know you are certainly the friend of the most fallen.
Your fallen servant,
Pañcaratna Dāsa
Dear Śrīla Jayapatākā Swami Ācāryapāda, one of the best disciple of Śrīla Prabhupāda,
How merciful you are!
How tolerant you are!
Despite of all the difficulties,
You are pushing on the faulties.
Without any caste or creed, you are Distributing love of God.
You are disseminating the knowledge of Bhakti-yoga, breaking and cutting the Knowledge of speculative yoga.
You are preaching vigorously, vigorously thinking and meditating on Lord Gaurāṅga Constantly.
You are preaching in the countries of South America, Nepal, Bangladesh, India, thus the nectar of devotional service is overcoming them from the deadly area.
You are the representative of Śrīla Prabhupāda; therefore, kindly help us Śrīla Ācāryapāda.
The whole world is in the darkness of māyā, no understanding of spiritual life, but māyā.
Uplift this fallen soul!
Show them the real goal,
The aim of human life. Who is the master of this life?
What is his name?
And show us his glories and fame!
Hare Kṛṣṇa!
Your insignificant godbrother and servant,
Prabhava Dāsa,
Calcutta.
My dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda,
Hare Kṛṣṇa. Please accept my humble obeisance’s. All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.
I am not a very eloquent speaker, even less of a good writer. Yet on this most auspicious occasion of your Appearance Day, I am duty bound to say a few words. If I can somehow glorify the preaching activities of Namahatta, then I feel this will directly glorify you.
In the Goudruma Kalpaṭavi Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura writes: “Whenever and wherever a pure devotee accepts birth he takes up and continue the pastimes of this marketing of the Holy Name.” You are that pure devotee as you have introduced within ISKCON the very preaching of Namahatta as originally conducted by Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura. The vision of the pure devotees is indeed very broad. Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura’s son Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Prabhupāda. Although stressing mainly the printing and distribution of books, did not leave out the third and oress (our B.B.T), by distributing devotional scriptures (our Saṅkīrtana) and by spreading Namahatta (our congregational programs) one can serve Māyāpur perfectly. “These are thus the three pillars for solidly establishing the Divine Mission of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu. Śrīla Prabhupāda, seeingin you the seed of a pure devotee, entrusted from the very beginning the development of Māyāpur in your very hands: “I have given you the kingdom of God, now you develop it.” And although in recording Śrīla Prabhupāda has apparently never used the terminology ‘Namahatta’ his preaching mood was totally in this line and his revelations on this last phase are to be found in the 50% of the unaccomplished task which he referred to in the latter days of his physical presence with us.
I have not a single doubt of the timely need for this preaching program. Especially for Bengal, it had to be firstly introduced as only Bengal had this unique congregation of devotees. But now gradually as congregations are built up around the world, the natural step will be to similarly introduce this same program with minor adjustments. So although at present so many limitations are there I feel very much indebted to you for having this foresight and for thus allowing such as unqualified person as myself to serve you and Śrīla Prabhupāda. Kindly excuse all the innumerable faults and blunders of all of us engaged in this preaching work.
Your servant,
Rāghava Paṇḍita Dāsa (Now Bhakti Rāghava Swami)

“A PERFECT ĀCĀRYA”
A pure devotee in the line of disciplic succession, who came down on this earth with love and devotion, you distribute divine blessings without discrimination this is your beauty in my estimation.
Under the expert guidance of your spiritual master, planting the devotional seed as an expert gardener, you are a truthful person who never breaks His word of honour. This is your beauty, we love forever. When we see you in joyous SAṄKĪRTANA, We forget everything except your Śrī Caraṇa. You weep for Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī; beyond caste and creed you preach GAURA VĀṆĪ.
O,My beloved Godbrother,
How nicely you serve Krishna, hour by hour. Your lotus face is a newly blossomed flower, You are my ever well-wisher.
The sincere soul will carry out your message:
This is the only way to cut out the material bondage.
You distribute the ‘Highest Prema’, even in this age.
Your devotion and dedication for Prabhupāda is put of range.
Śrīla Ācāryapāda, my desire is to serve you better.
I am fully dependant on your power.
I do not know how to serve my spiritual master:
Please mould this fallen soul as you desire.
Your most fallen Godbrother,
Saṅkarṣaṇa Dāsa
ISKCON Public Affairs, Calcutta
I heard the name of Jayapatākā Swami Before I ever came to India.
That mention of his name brought forth mental pictures of India;
And he seemed to be the epitome of the 'experienced devotee’.
Indeed, he was practically the first
Of Śrīla Prabhupāda’s disciples to preach there.
He developed Śrīdhāma Māyāpur first, and,
With his straw hat, worked the earth, planted the first seeds,
And harvested the first fruits.
That’s not an ordinary thing!
Śrīdhāma Māyāpur is not an ordinary place!
Lord Caitanya was watching
And instilled in him an immovable
Dedication.
Thus, in the spiritual Cintāmaṇi Dhāma of Gauḍadeśa,
Śrīla Ācāryapāda nourished his devotion and in turn,
Sustains and nourishes the devotion of others.
Such totality of faith in the predecessor Ācāryas evoked in him
A great energy and capacity to render devotional service.
Planting, harvesting, building expanding, protecting, glorifying and having anxiety about,
The Holiest of all Dhāmas in this age, Śrī Gaurakṣetra, non-different From Caitanya Mahāprabhu.
Thus Śrīla Ācāryapāda serves the Lord and the disciplic succession.
As his supreme master,
Is familiar with the dhāma as his supreme friend,
Is concerned with the future of Māyāpur
As a responsible parent,
And is truly the lover of devotional service to Śrī Śrī Gaura-Nitāi.
He speaks of nothing else
but the glories of Śrī Pañca-tattva, therefore,
He is worthy of all glories himself.
All Glories to Śrīla Ācāryapāda!
Satadhanya Swami
I offer my respectful obeisances to Śrīla Jayapatākā Swami Ācāryapāda, who whenever I meet him, crushes me in a great “bear-hug” and lifts me off my feet.
I offer my humble obeisance’s to Śrīla Ācāryapāda, who is a powerful preacher of Kṛṣṇa consciousness, and who has no desire in his heart except to carry out the will of Śrīla Prabhupāda. Śrīla Prabhupāda told him to travel all over the world and preach Kṛṣṇa consciousness, and therefore he is wonderfully doing that.
I offer my humble obeisance’s to Śrīla Ācāryapāda, who is the embodiment of the desire of the previous Ācāryas for a vital preaching mission coming out of Māyāpur India. He is very courageous and surrendered, and therefore he has been empowered to make hundreds and hundreds of people devotees of Kṛṣṇa through the Nāmahaṭṭa program.
All glories to Śrīla Jayapatākā Swami Ācāryapāda, who is one of the staunchest defenders of ISKCON in the GBC. Even when others may forget the instruction of Prabhupāda that we must work together as an entire GBC congregation, Śrīla Ācāryapāda does not forget. Thus he is always reminding us and keeping the GBC members in check as Vaiṣṇava gentlemen and law-abiding ISKCON citizens.
All glories to Śrīla Jayapatākā Swami Ācāryapāda, who always remains considerate and pure in his dealings with the Vaiṣṇavas. He is also renowned for his incredibly enthusiastic lectures about Lord Caitanya and His associates. These talks and lectures are always memorable and enthuse all devotees on many different continents in this world.
There are many, many more glories and achievements of Śrīla Ācāryapāda, beyond my recounting or comprehension. I am honoured to be serving in ISKCON in the GBC along with him, and I pray that he will consider me his servant and friend. His name means victory flag, and we all feel confident of ISKCON’s onward march when we know that Śrīla Ācāryapāda is leading the way.
Your humble servant,
Satsvarūpa dāsa Goswami
Dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.
On your most auspicious appearance day, please accept my repeated obeisances. Please forgive my offenses.
I always remember our first meeting. The police sirens were roaring, and they arrested you, (rather only tried and must always fail), you were; as usual greatly disturbing the slumber of the sleeping souls.
This is the mood of our beloved Spiritual Master, Śrīla Prabhupāda. It was through seeing this mood so nicely exhibited in Your Divine Grace that I took shelter in you. Although I myself have no qualification or ability, in any sphere to engage in devotional service, I want your kind mercy and help and guidance to do so. You are fully perfect in pleasing Him. I have come here to learn the art of rendering devotional service from you. If I could have one “anu” of your devotion to Śrīla Prabhupāda, I would be satisfied. Kindly allow me to offer some activities which will be a contribution to pleasing our most beloved eternal father, Śrīla Prabhupāda. Just as a little brother becomes inspired when he sees the service his sincere brother renders to their father, yet the younger has himself nothing to offer, so similarly, being inspired by Your Divine Grace, I am begging from your spiritual assets for something to offer, in imitation, to Śrīla Prabhupāda.
Your servant,
Tejas Dāsa
“Offerings on the eve of Vyāsa-pūjā”
Dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda,
First of all, on this auspicious ‘Vyāsa-pūjā’ day, please accept our humble and respectful obeisance unto Your Divine Grace. We were born in the darkest region of ignorance, but you are the spiritual masters who have shown us the light of transcendental knowledge. To that spiritual master we offer our respectful obeisances.
O Lord! Your Divine Grace is the friend of the fallen and the ocean of the mercy. Your Divine Grace is very dear to Lord Caitanya and to Lord Nityānanda as well. Therefore please situate us eternally at your lotus feet and please mercifully grant us the right to serve you.
In the past, an evil-influence swallowed the entire Gauḍīya-maṇḍala in the form of a bad community, and only by your mercy have we got an opportunity to get free from that evil influence. Please never let us forget your lotus feet for that.
Your divine grace has appeared on this earth only to deliver the fallen by distributing the pure holy name of the Lord. So, we pray unto you to please deliver us from this dreadful ocean of sins and from the darkness of ignorance as well. Please make us able to glorify the lotus feet of Their Lordships Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Mādhava and to perform devotional service and preaching activities. Please bestow your mercy upon us so that we can continue to serve your lotus feet and not be allured by the illusion of Kali.
O Śrīla Ācāryapāda, your glories are boundless, please deliver us from the clutches of māyā.
You’re most fallen devotees ISKCON,
Dhaka Centre, Bangladesh.

Respected Gurudev Śrīla Ācāryapāda,
On this most auspicious day of your Vyaspuja I beg to offer you prostrate obeisance, unlimited times.
bhārata-bhūmite haila manuṣya-janma yāra
janma sārthaka kari' kara para-upakāra
(Cc. Ādi 9.41)
Though we have taken birth in Bhārat-bhūmi (India), we did not know how to do para-upkāra (helping others). By Your Divine Grace, we learn how to do the highest para-upkāra. Chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa Mahā-mantra is the highest para-upakāra of all, which can break rebirth and leads towards Kṛṣṇa and His Dhāma (residence), Vaikuṇṭha, where a soul will get eternal peace and bliss. I have learnt this Mahāmantra by your causeless mercy. You made a path to Goloka Vṛndāvāna from all sinful conditioned souls by re-establishing Nāmahaṭṭa Saṅga, which Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya Mahāprabhu inaugurated five hundred years back. Thus a fallen soul like me can easily find the way to eternal peace.
Keep me at your lotus feet, always serving your desire. Jai organiser of Nāmahaṭṭa Saṅga, Śrīmad Ācāryapāda Śrī Jayapatākā Swami Guru Mahārāja ki Jai! Jai! Jai!!!

My dear Spiritual Master Ācāryapāda,
Please accept my humble obeisance’s at the dust of your lotus feet. All glories to your Divine grace. All glories to Śrīla Prabhupad, who has given you to pick up us from this hellish planet.
On this auspicious day of your Divine Grace’s appearance, I offer my humble and respectful obeisance’s at you lotus feet.
Actually I am so fallen a conditioned soul that I cannot understand your divine power, also I am unable to understand your Divine Grace. You are so merciful, therefore you accept me as a Dāsa.
You are fulfilling Prabhupāda’s desire to deliver the Holy name around the world. Prabhupāda gave you such power, to spread Kṛṣṇa Consciousness around the world, also you are fulfilling the desire of the Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu, He says in Caitanya Caritāmṛta:
‘pṛthivīte āche yata nagarādi grāma
sarvatra pracāra haibe mora nāma’
Prabhupāda took this message from his Spiritual Master, he spread the message around the whole world, and then he gave order to you for spreading this message. Actually you are a great devotee of Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu. Because Caitanya Mahāprabhu says in Caitanya caritāmṛta:
śuno śuno nityānanda, śuno haridāsa,
sarvatra āmāra ājñā koroha prakāśa,
prati ghare ghare giyā koro ei bhikṣā,
bolo kṛṣṇa, bhaja kṛṣṇa, koro kṛṣṇa śikṣā
The great ācārya Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura took this order and opened the ‘Nāmahaṭṭa’ programme. This programme is giving this opportunity and is enabling all types all classes of men to congregate under the Victory flag of Śrīla Caitanya Mahāprabhu’s Harinam Saṅkīrtana movement. You reopened ‘Nāmahaṭṭa’ not ‘only in India, but you spread this programme around the world. Therefore thousands of thousands of fallen souls are saved by your Divine power.
In this age of Kali, everybody feels that preaching is very difficult, but you never feel that way. Recently you came to Orissa for preaching. So I got the biggest opportunity to associate with you. Nobody wants to go there, but you went, and distributed nectar to fallen souls when people saw you and heard vāṇi your amṛta “NāMAHAṬṬA” immediately people agreed to open NĀMAHAṬṬA saṅga, the people were crying and saying we are so fortunate to “Darśana You”.
O gurudeva, I pray to Your Divine Grace that please grant me mercy, I will be able to free myself from this temporary miserable world and can re-establish my lost relationship with the eternal personality of Godhead, Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa. Also I pray unto you, Divine grace, to please let me remain as your servitor life after life.
Jaya Śrīla Ācāryapāda Your unworthy Servant,
Pratāpa Rudra Dāsa
O my Supreme Worshipful Master,
On this auspicious appearance day of your Divine Grace, I offer my respectful obeisance’s at your lotus feet and also offer millions and millions of obeisance’s to them whom you have accepted as your material Father & Mother. Because on this auspicious day they helped sākṣād paraṁ brahma to come to this planet, by whose mercy (yours) the people of every part of the world are chanting Mahā-mantra.
I am so foolish that I do not have enough intelligence to glorify your activities, because “ācāryaṁ māṁ vijānīyān nāvamanyeta karhicit / na martya-buddhyāsūyeta sarva-deva-mayo guruḥ”. Śrīmad Bhāgavatam says Guru is exactly like the Supreme Personality of Godhead. As the activities of the Supreme Personality of Godhead are acintya, the activities and pastimes of the spiritual master are also acintya. So I am fully unable to glorify your activities.
O my Supreme worshipful Master, patita-pavana, deliverer of conditioned living entities, Ocean of Mercy, you have given me the chance to see your lotus feet and without any hesitation you have accepted me as a disciple. There is nothing more fortunate for me because.
brahmāṇḍa bhramite kona bhāgyavān jīva
guru-kṛṣṇa-prasāde pāya bhakti-latā-bīja
O patita-pāvana, Ocean of mercy, I have no intelligence to understand your activities, so how I will understand Kṛṣṇa and what sevā will I do to HIM? So by remembering your lotus feet and by chanting the Mahā-mantra with my family, I am living happily in this material world. By your mercy I am able to read.
On this auspicious day, this is my prayer at your lotus feet. O Ocean of forgiveness, forgive all my aparādhas and give me a chance to see your lotus feet, which are the most auspicious things in my life.
Jaya Śrīla Ācāryapāda,
One of your fallen servant,
Rama Lakṣmaṇa Dāsa Adhikārī
oṁ ajñāna-timirāndhasya jñānāñjana-śalākayā
cakṣur unmīlitaṁ yena tasmai śrī-gurave namaḥ
Dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda,
Please accept my humblest obeisances at your lotus feet on this magnificent day of your merciful appearance; I pray that you constantly award me service at your lotus feet.
Śrīla Ācāryapāda, you personify the unlimited ocean of mercy. You are always in the presence of Śrīmati Rādhārāṇī and assisting the gopīs, who always at different times make different tasteful arrangements for the perfection of Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa’s conjugal loving affairs within the groves of Vṛndāvana. Although dwelling in Vṛndāvana, and always merged in transcendental ecstasy, relishing the mellow of pure devotion, you have descended for the welfare of fallen souls, and you are preaching the divine love Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa and delivering the whole planet from the darkness of illusion.
Śrīla Ācāryapāda, you are the abode of loving devotion to Kṛṣṇa; Dust from your lotus feet is conducive to devotional service, while service to you is itself the supreme perfection and the root of the tender creeper of divine love. Please place me in the ocean of joy by bestowing upon me happiness in the mellows of service at the feet of Śrīmati Rādhārāṇī in the groves of Vraja Dhāma. There is no one except you who can purify the fallen souls. All the śāstras therefore advise,
'sādhu-saṅga', 'sādhu-saṅga'—sarva-śāstre kaya
lava-mātra sādhu-saṅge sarva-siddhi haya
Even by a little association with you, the conditioned souls can get out of this miserable material condition. Your heart is always the resting place of Lord Govinda. I desire the dust of your holy lotus feet in every birth I may take. Please be kind upon me.
Śrīla Ācāryapāda, Kṛṣṇa is yours. You are able to give Him to me, for such is your power. I am indeed wretched and simply run after you. Crying, ‘KṚṢṆA! KṚṢṆA!’
Jaya Śrīla Ācāryapāda!
Your insignificant servant,

“Service by Service” “Service by service” “Service by Service”
My most beloved and most merciful Śrīla Jayapatākā Swami Ācāryapāda. I beg to know from Your Divine Grace how can I serve, how I can carry out your desires and follow your divine orders and instructions, the way Your Divine Grace wants me to.
By the mercy of Your Divine Grace Śrīla Ācāryapāda, all the previous Ācāryas, Śrī Śrī Nitāi Gaurāṅga, the Hare Kṛṣṇa mahā-mantra and Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa the Supreme Personality of Godhead, I have come to the conclusion that the formula to overcome all impediments on the path of devotional service is to simply render service after service to your lotus feet. Then only can I hope to achieve your causeless mercy. My service rendered is rewarded by your engaging me in further service. Let this be my only reward. Let me have “Service by Service" birth after birth, eternally without any condition, and without any attachment to wealth, strength, fame, knowledge, renunciation and beauty, because everything ultimately belongs to Your Divine Grace.
O Vaiṣṇava Ṭhākura, O ocean of mercy, O Gurudeva, O mercy incarnation of Lord Nityānanda, be merciful to this slave of your servants, so that I can beg Your Divine Grace to plant this seed of “Service by Service” in the core of my heart on the occasion of this most blessed event, the Appearance Day of our beloved spiritual master, His Divine Grace Śrīla Jayapatākā Swami Ācāryapāda.
By offering this Vyāsa-pūjā homage and accepting the “Victory Flag” of Śrīla Jayapatākā on my head.
I desire to become a slave of the servants of Śrīla Ācāryapāda,
Narasiṁha Tīrtha Dāsa Adhikārī
His Divine Grace Śrīla Ācāryapāda,
I beg you to please accept my humble obeisances at your lotus feet.
Given this opportunity, I address Your Divine Grace to thank you so much for all that you have done for me, teaching by example a simple, healthy life, with an objective, for which to live without hate or resentment.
Your presence causes joy, optimism, determination and strength to carry on the life, of celibacy.
Your Divine Grace, I know that you would like me to surrender to your lotus feet, to help expand this Movement of Saṅkīrtana Yajña, but I don't have any intelligence to accept this great gift offered by Your Divine Grace.
Your Divine Grace, I will do my best to integrate myself the Movement and in that way to satisfy what Your Divine Grace so much wants.
Your Divine Grace, maybe these words don’t have much value in relation to what Your Divine Grace has given me, so the only thing I can say is,
Thank you very much!

Dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda,
Please accept my most humble and respectful obeisances in the dust of your divine lotus feet.
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda, whom there are not enough words to glorify.
All glories to His Divine Grace Śrīla Ācāryapāda, who is very merciful to all the fallen souls.
I am not qualified to glorify you properly, with nice words. I can only offer this little service, full of faults that Kṛṣṇa allows me to render in Bolivia Temple; you are very merciful, accepting me as your disciple.
Beloved Master, please give us always your protection and give us a drop of your mercy. It is a great privilege for me to be engaged in your service.
Beloved Master, excuse my offenses and my constant faults, but not eternal because my desire is to serve you purely, through your causeless mercy. This is my most sincere desire.
My dear Master, please bestow your blessings upon me, to make me able to understand you and increase my service.

My dear spiritual guide,
Please accept my humble obeisance’s at your lotus feet. I don’t have proper words to glorify you... Please forgive me. You are the only way to get the desired goal: pure love for God.
My Gurudeva, I am feeling your mercy in my heart and I can understand our eternal relaionship; it’s so beautiful to have found you. Without your guidance I won’t be able to realize my infinite spiritual life.
My life and soul is to serve you. Please be merciful upon this fallen soul who has been conditioned life after life. Only you can save me from this material existence.

O beloved Spiritual Master!
Please accept our humble obeisances at your lotus feet.
All glories to the magnificent and transcendental personality of Gurudeva!
All glories to the Saṅkīrtana Movement!
It is because you descended from a spotless disciplic succession and humbly serve Śrīla Prabhupāda teaching us with your life what actual purity is, that we surrender our lives to serve you for good. The run is long but the goal we shall get is great, and our pastimes when we are under the shelter of your lotus feet are nectarine.
Dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda, it was not long ago that you came to this part of the world, but you already have hundreds of disciples, souls that have been blessed by Śrīla Prabhupāda to have as father his pure disciple.
You are an expansion of Śrīla Prabhupāda, because with purity and complete surrender you serve him, keeping and continuing the great work he began in this demoniac age of impersonalize.
All the enthusiasm you give us whenever you come reminds us the importance of chanting the Holy Names that you have given to us. This is a treasure sometimes we do not know how to take care of. You told us that this chanting will solve all troubles on the earth.
We pray that some day we can clearly understand what to glorify the Lord means.
Our higher desire is to folow you and helps you in your mission of giving all thirsty souls the mantra for liberation you mercifully gave us in this age of Kali-yuga.
We are so grateful that now we only want to live to serve you.
All glories to the Saṅkīrtana Movement of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu! All the glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda! All the glories to Śrīla Ācāryapāda!

Dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda,
Please accept my most humble obeisances at the dust of your lotus feet.
On this most auspicious day of your appearance, I wish to put my life at the service of your servants. Everyone wants to achieve life’s ultimate goal, but due to being absorbed in the material energy we waste our time with sense gratification. Through the study of Vedic literatures one comes to KṚṢṆA consciousness. Thus one engages in devotional service, abhidheya. We are always in a distressed condition of life, and an intelligent man naturally becomes inquisitive. Vedic literatures are meant to free the conditioned soul from the miserable conditions of material existence. Please Śrīla Ācāryapāda blesses me with your mercy so that I may always remain fixed distributing Śrīla Prabhupāda’s books until the day I leave my body. Only through your mercy can this be possible, by pleasing you only, can I please KṚṢṆA. All of my works, efforts and labour are useless 0’s if they don’t become attached to the number 1 of pleasing you.
All glories to you patita-pāvana Śrīla Ācāryapāda! The saviour of the most fallen and wretched souls like me. This servant of your servants prays at your blessed lotus feet.
You’re most fallen servant,
Arca Avatāra Dāsa Brahmacārī
His Divine Grace Śrīla Ācāryapāda
Please I beg you to accept my most humble obeisances at you lotus feet.
This time I address Your Divine Grace for thanking you very much for what you do for us, teaching by your example a simple life of purity in order to reach the top and attain the great kingdom of KṚṢṆA.
Your presence is, for me and all my family a cause of great happiness, because you give us the chance to offer you again our obeisances and to surrender at your lotus feet, purifying more myself and all my family. This causes us happiness, dear Spiritual Master.
It is for the complete change in life and the purification that you have wrought in us that we are grateful, and I hope that everybody is grateful towards you for the benefit of all the persons that have faith in your spiritual purity.
Surrendered at your lotus feet,
Bhakta Javier

Please accept my most respectful obeisances at the dust of your lotus feet. I thank you very much for giving me so much mercy. You are the most merciful. You can make us reach the lotus feet of Kṛṣṇa.
Śrīla Ācāryapāda, you teach us that the real goal of life is the Supreme Personality of Godhaed, Kṛṣṇa.
You have all the qualities that even the most perfect one in the world cannot have.
When will my eyes be filled with tears; while chanting Kṛṣṇa’s names and while saying: Jaya Śrīla Ācāryapāda?
Please Śrīla Ācāryapāda gives me the shelter of your lotus feet.

All glories to Śrīla Ācāryapāda!
Eleven months ago I came to know the Movement, and it was through one of Śrīla Prabhupāda’s books; and how could I imagine then the radical change in my life? It filled my life in such a manner, arising finally the answers to so many questions about the purpose of life, of mankind; my mind became clarified and as never before, I could understand that I had been submerged so long in darkness. I thought that some things were wrong in myself and therefore I was not able to find peace nor happiness. I understand now that all was wrong, and this change took place thanks to your infinite mercy, due to your unspeakable purity that makes you so strong, even as to convert such a fallen spiritual soul as myself.
Remembering your voice, your glance, your smile is going to give me strength to go ahead in the devotional path, and in this way to be able to receive someday your mercy, at your lotus feet.
Please accept my most humble and respectful obeisances at the dust of your lotus feet.

My dear Guru Maharaja,
Please accept my most humble obeisance’s at your lotus feet. You are always anointed with the nectar of causeless mercy.
All glories to my Gurudeva, the most merciful among the Acaryas. The topmost scholar, who submerges himself in the transcendental themes of
Śrī Caitanya Bhagavata, Śrī Caitanya Caritamrita and all the pastimes of Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu.
Every līlā executed by Lord Caitanya is yours also and you elaborate from such pastimes the eternal nectar for the soul’s. surrendered at your lotus feet. All glories to my Gurudeva, who with melodious voice enlivens almost all the souls, already dead by suffering, ignorance and pride. My real pride is to have the most glorious father in the three worlds and who is honoured, respected and glorified by everybody.
All glories to your garland, bestowed of the greatest emotions. Just by smelling the aroma, all the stone-hearts melt and just by seeing it, I wonder at the greatness of My Spiritual Master. All glories to all his paraphernalia, very appreciated, beloved and respected by everyone. All glories to his disciples, who are not ordinary persons.
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda, the most beloved grandfather of all the surrendered hearts to my Gurudeva. All glories to this appearance day that is the satisfaction of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu. My dear Gurudeva, I want to be next to you in distance and time... How can I get you?
Once again I offer my most humble obeisance’s at the lotus feet of such a Spiritual Master.
Your eternal servant,
Eka-niṣṭha Dāsa Brahmacārī
Dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda,
Please accept my most humble obeisances at your lotus feet. On this glorious day of your appearance, let me dedicate this little offering at the dust of your lotus feet.
All glories to Śrī Nityānanda Prabhu; Narottama Dāsa says: Unless one takes shelter under the shade of the lotus feet of Lord Nityānanda, it would be very difficult for him to approach Śrī Śrī Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa... and whoever does not establish a relationship with Nityānanda, is simply wasting the benediction of this human form of life.
Without elevating oneself to Kṛṣṇa Consciousness through the mercy of Lord Caitanya and Lord Nityānanda, life simply wasted in the animal propensities of sense gratification.
Even though Śrī Caitanya is Kṛṣṇa Himself, He simply says; Take love for Kṛṣṇa Similarly, you, Śrīla Ācāryapāda, like Nityānanda Prabhu tell us; “Chant Hare Kṛṣṇa and be happy.”
You are the guru of infinite mercy who acts just like Lord Nityānanda, saving all Jagais and Mādhais and travelling to all corners or the world, beating our hearts: Jīva jāgo, jīva jāgo... “wake up sleeping souls...” With your association you remind us that we are eternal servants of Kṛṣṇa. Please bless me to be the servant of your servants and wake up in this way a little intelligence to preach Kṛṣṇa Consciousness.
Your stupid servant,

Let there be all glories to His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Śrīla Prabhupāda. All glories to the ISKCON Ācāryas! And all the Vaiṣṇava devotees of the Lord.
Oh Śrīla Ācāryapāda, you are always absorbed in the pastimes of Śrī Śrī Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa, always absorbed in the pastimes of Śrī Śrī Gaura Nitāi, teaching us How to serve better His Lordship. Śrī Kṛṣṇa, imparting to us the best of spiritual knowledge with the greatest love and affection that only your person can manifest.
That huge ocean of mercy that you are pouring over all the fallen souls, the liberation of going back to home, back to Godhead, has become the most auspicious for this soul, willing to serve the lotus feet of my Gurudeva. What other happiness can there be? To serve you despite all difficulties and troubles.
Oh Śrīla Ācāryapāda, you are the savior of the most fallen,
Your lowest servant,
Garbhavāsa Dāsa Brahmacārī
Śrīla Ācāryapāda,
Please accept my humble obeisances at your lotus feet.
Oh beloved and merciful Śrīla Ācāryapāda, the dust of your lotus feet is sanctifying all that is. Not a single word, nor a verse, nor any poetry emanating from my polluted being is worthy for your glorification. In this dark blindness and the perplexity of my mind, I’m trying to remember every motion and transcendental sound originated from your lotus mouth. This is the shelter and the treasure that everybody is hankering for.
Your presence is just like a cloud over the desert and the rain of your merciful glance appeases the thirst of the thirty; whenever this cloud leaves to go on its eternal and lovely task, my life then pushes me to wander and once again my hope is lost.
You are non-different from Kṛṣṇa, therefore to get your benedictions is the goal of human life, but what will I do to be worthy of that? The conclusion is that I’m lost...
HARE KṚṢṆA HARE KṚṢṆA KṚṢṆA KṚṢṆA HARE HARE / HARE RĀMA HARE RĀMA RĀMA RĀMA HARE HARE.

Dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda: Once upon a time, when I was enclosed within a dark womb and suffering because of different acids that irritated my skin, and, because of the discomfort of my posture; because I knew you could help me I was asking you for relief.
Dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda, after that, when I found myself again in this material world and suffered from miseries, ignorance and the pain I found at every step, because I knew you could take care of me I asked you for protection.
Dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda, then, when I started to suffer the frustration of not being able to get the egotistic whims of my body and false ego, and completely confused and would consider if it was worth it to keep on living in this miserable placer because I knew you could orient me I asked you to tell me what I should do.
Dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda, in the beginning of my youth, being very desirous to find the truth, I submerged myself in the study of biblical texts and suffered not finding any spiritual realization in myself nor in the “revelations” of “brothers” who imagined receiving messages from God along with me, because I knew you could save me from this foolish sentimentalism I asked you for illumination.
Dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda, after that, when being bewildered by a false sense of solidarity towards society I started fighting for social justice and the rights of the poor, defrauded by discovering that my political companions were a bunch of liars and cheaters and that the myth of the people was a great farce, because I knew you could help me to get out of this romantic illusion and the farce of the political fights, I asked you to show me the true way to happiness.
Dear Śrīla Acaryapad- then when I converted myself into a speculator who was looking for false prestige and knowledge in the dry ways of sterile esoterism and mysticism, and I tried to enlarge my vision (and my imagination) with horrible intoxicants, suffering; because I knew you could save me from this dangerous position, I asked you to appear and to give your mercy.
Dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda, at the end, when by your words and your presence I was convinced that I’ve suffered the past because I was disconnected with you, and when I understood that there is no way to learn anything from persons who are not Kṛṣṇa conscious; because I was sure that you are my eternal father and spiritual master, I asked you to give me spiritual initiation.
And due to your inconceivable causeless mercy, dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda, I was saved from running like a dog looking for pleasure in this world where there is only misery. So I was blessed with the wonderful fortune of being able to serve His Divine Grace Śrīla Ācāryapāda, though I never had any qualification, neither I have it now.
Therefore Śrīla Ācāryapāda, on this day of your transcendental appearance, I proclaim that you are the personified mercy of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu and I ask all the living entities to glorify this Vyāsa-pūjā day and the divine qualities of His Divine Grace. By my side, because I don’t have any intelligence or devotion to glorify you, I beg you »dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda, please let me offer my insignificant service unto your beautiful lotus feet. You have told me that I must serve the transcendental propaganda of the holy names of the Lord, and you have ordered me to spread the glories of the saṅkīrtana movement; and though I am very lazy and fallen, I still promise you that I will work vigorously to make this temple of La Paz Mandir a real source of diffusion of the glories of ISKCON and the Harināma saṅkīrtana because I know that I will have the power of your instruction, while I remain under the shade of your lotus feet.

Dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda,
Please accept my most humble obeisance’s at your sublime lotus feet. All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda’s! All glories to your Divine Grace, who with his transcendental karatālas is constantly announcing spreading the congregational chanting of the Holy Name in every town and village.
Today is the most auspicious day in all the three worlds, because we remember the magnificent appearance of your Divine Grace. There is a festive atmosphere and the souls of the devotees are full of the nectar from your lotus mouth, which narrates the pastimes of Nitāi Gaura so expertly and vividly.
Just a moment of your association is enough for being purified and making spiritual advancement. We are so fortune that we have the great mercy of your constant association which makes us sure of going back to the Supreme Abode. Thank you... thank you Śrīla Ācāryapāda. I don’t have enough intelligence to write a nice Vyāsa-pūjā offering to you; neither, I have any qualification for serving you. Please excuse my offenses. I just beg for your causeless mercy. Please let me stay always under the shade of your lotus feet.

Without doubt, the path of spiritual life is difficult, but Kṛṣṇa is so merciful to us, that he sends us a pure devotee, to guide us to our real home and who is an eternal associate of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, namely Śrīla Ācāryapāda.
Dear spiritual master, you are mercy and kindness personified, the words that could be used are not enough to describe how great you are.
With your kindness, you are saving millions of conditioned souls. You were so merciful accepting me as disciple, which the only thing I want in my life is to serve you eternally.

Please accept my most humble obeisance’s at your divine lotus feet.
My beloved Gurudeva, I offer you this tiny offering, although difficult for me, having not a the least bit of intelligence there flows not a single word to properly praise such an exalted personality; I’m so useless that I cannot describe your unlimited qualities rebounding with so much potency, that I wonder, without proper understanding of your identity, and I ask myself : What a great soul has come to this miserly world to give me his causeless mercy, and what did I do to have such a kind and wonderful father as you?
Oh my beloved Master! you are so pure, just like clear water, brilliant as the sun, and when I meditate upon you beloved face I feel very happy, your blue eyes are as beautiful as the immense sky, plenty of purity in which I wander and they are so wonderful because with them you are seeing the original transcendental form of Lord Kṛṣṇa. From your beautiful lotus mouth flows the nectar amongst nectars telling the pastimes of Lord Nityānanda and Lord Caitanya; words that reach my heart, penetrate my ears, deaf due to mundane gratification, words in which I would like to be absorbed. Your body is so wonderful and transcendental that I do not understand it in its real form, but in the core of my heart I know that you are my eternal and beloved spiritual master and real father.
My beloved Śrīla Ācāryapāda, When will I leave once and forever this ocean, of the material world, full of darkness? It causes me much suffering when I immerse in this material world, therefore my mind is constantly bewildered and my body drags me towards material gratification and I am so foolish that I let this go on; but, by your grace I will be freed from it. Therefore I ask and I beg from you to help me to leave this material world.
JAYA NITĀI GAURA

“The Spiritual Master is to be honoured as much as the Supreme Lord, because he is the most confidential servitor of the Lord. This is acknowledged in all revealed scriptures and followed by all authorities. Therefore I offer my respectful obeisance’s unto the lotus feet of such a Spiritual Master, who is a bonafide representative of Śrī Hari (Kṛṣṇa).
Oh Gurudeva, through infinite births and deaths, I’ve been engaged in sense gratification, therefore I feel undeserving to offer a glorification that your sublime person is worthy of. Any offering or service that I could render to you are insignificant in comparison with what you are giving me... The chance of taking part in the Saṅkīrtana Movement of Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu!!!
Dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda, by your mercy a blind can see the stars, a deaf and dumb man can give eloquent speeches, a lame man can cross over mountains, and all the Jagāis and Mādhāis of this age, including myself, can become Kṛṣṇa conscious and in this way, be able to participate in the most glorious and sublime activity : Saṅkīrtana Yajña.
Just as the water delivers the forest from the devouring fire, likewise you have delivered us from the suffering in the material world, engaging us in devotional Service. Oh Gurudeva! You have all the energy to spread the Saṅkīrtana Movement of Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu. Only with your help can we have the strength, purity and determination needed to preach the glories of the Supreme Lord in every town and village.
My dear spiritual father, please give me your mercy to increase my service and, with enthusiasm and ecstasy, remain in the Saṅkīrtana Movement.
You’re most fallen and eternal servant,

My dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda,
On this wonderful day of your appearance, all the fallen souls of the material world rejoice because of your presence in this world, we can taste the happiness that a lost child tastes in the darkest night upon finding his beloved father. A great personality is worthy of worship, but I do not find words to glorify your unlimited qualities. Oh eternal father! Give me strength to follow your instructions.
Before knowing you, my life had no sense. I was alone and bewildered this material world. Thanks to Kṛṣṇa’s mercy, you have appeared in my life and now it has an actual meaning. Please. Merciful Master, give me shelter under the shade of your lotus feet.
Your causeless mercy is reaching all living being, just as the rain refreshes the fields during drought.
All glories to this wonderful day of your transcendental appearance, that Lord Gaurāṅga.

If you want to get the mercy of Lord Caitanya and Lord Nityānanda, you have to be Śrīla Ācāryapāda disciple.

My dear master,
I know that following your instructions I will get love for Kṛṣṇa, because that is what you want for humanity at large and especially for your disciples.
What a great fortune we have! Our spiritual master is the incarnation of the mercy of Lord Nityānanda!
On this Vyāsa-pūjā day Lord Caitanya and His associates are doing a huge kīrtana with big karatālas and mṛdangas, and flowers are raining on this transcendental feast!
My dear master, please forgive me for not knowing how to glorify you properly; I am very foolish.

“My dear Vaiṣṇava, to see a person like you is the perfection of one’s eyesight, touching your lotus feet is the perfection of the sense of touch, glorifying your good qualities is the tongue’s real activity for in the material world it is very difficult to find a pure devotee of the Lord.” (CC Madhya-līlā 20.61)
My dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda, Please accept my most humble obeisance’s at your lotus feet. All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.
My dear spiritual master, you are that pure devotee of the Lord who is very difficult to find in this world.
Śrīla Ācāryapāda, I remember the first time when that, by a great mercy of Kṛṣṇa, I had the great good fortune to see your powerful figure, radiant as the sun appearing at the airport. To see a person like you causes great shivering in the heart of all living beings, even more in that of your servants.
Your lotus feet are the only way by which we can attain pure devotional service, and to touch them is the perfection of the sense of touch. I prostrate myself unto your lotus feet with great respect and reverence.
Thanks to your mercy, I could find the true sense of living in this material world, thanks to your mercy I can now listen from your lotus mouth the merciful pastimes of Lord Gaurāṅga, which you tell us so vividly filling the atmosphere with the cry of Haribol! Haribol! Rousing karatālas which make us wake up to our true identity.
Dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda, to glorify your great qualities is to taste pure spiritual nectar and the perfection of the real activity of the tongue. Jaya, Śrīla Ācāryapāda! All glories to you, my dear spiritual master, on the day of your transcendental appearance for the pleasure of Lord Gaurāṅga. Please give me a drop of your mercy so that I can serve you better.
You accepted me as your disciple, but I am so fallen that I do not represent at all the true meaning of a disciple, I am an unworthy servant of yours that begs to be able to serve you. When will I be able to serve you and meditate upon you constantly? Please forgive all my offenses at your lotus feet.

My dear Spiritual Master,
Please accept my humble obeisance’s at your lotus feet. Who except yourself could give shelter to the fallen souls of this Universe?
Certainly nobody can properly describe your transcendental qualities, because these are unlimited. Without your mercy, nobody in this Kali-yuga would be able to know the pastimes of their Lordships Śrī Śrī Gaura-Nitāi. Only your Divine Grace can inject devotional service to Lord Caitanya.
Please be merciful upon me and accept me as your own servant, otherwise I could not live anymore.

My dear Lord, be merciful unto me, because who accept your Lordship can be more merciful within the three worlds? My dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda, be merciful on me. Who apart from His Divine Grace can be more merciful within these three worlds?
Dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda, your work in this world has no parallel, because nobody can spread Kṛṣṇa Consciousness as you are doing. Therefore, you are glorified as the best Saṅkīrtana man.

I offer my respectful obeisance’s to His divine Grace Śrīla Jayapatākā Swami Ācāryapāda, who is always absorbed in the Sankirtan movement of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu. By His Divine Grace’s mercy we are getting love for Kṛṣṇa.
Today on your appearance day, I have a lot of thoughts in my mind and I understand that this day is so warm and gentle. Since there is nothing that I can give you, I just hope to get through the distance a drop of Kṛṣṇa’s causeless mercy, which is being delivered very especially today.
Your insignificant servant,
Phaṇirāja Dāsa Brahmacārī
Dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda,
Please accept my humble obeisances in the dust of your lotus feet. All glories to our beloved spiritual predecessor, Śrīla Prabhupāda! All glories to Your Divine Grace on the day of your transcendental appearance! Actually I am quite unfit to write a Vyāsa-pūjā offering for Your Divine Grace because fallen and foolish as I am, I hardly even know the true meaning of the Vyāsa-pūjā Celebration.
When Śrīla Prabhupāda left to the Supreme Abode, he asked you all to remain here and continue initiating disciples into this holy paramparā. You have taken this order as your very life and soul and getting so much experience by living in the holy dhāmas, and through your pure love to Śrīla Prabhupāda and Śrī Caitanya and Nityānanda, you have accepted the task to come all the way to this last corner of the world and do what Śrīla Prabhupāda told you to. For us this is a great wonder and at the same times a cause of celebration.
Thank you for allowing me to serve you in a close relationship with your disciples. To serve them and to take care of them is, for myself the only way If can actually advance and maintain myself in the fire of preaching and serving.
I beg you to please always consider and keep this fallen soul under the shade of your lotus feet, instructing me and chastising me as you like.
I wish to remain your servant,
Prahlādanātha Dāsa
Dear Spiritual Master, my gratefulness is eternal for everything that you have done for me I will always carry, recorded in my deepest self, your sublime figure, and imperishably I will glorify your name.

Dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda,
Please accept my most humble obeisances at the dust of your holy lotus feet. Please bless this unfortunate fallen soul so that he may understand your inconceivably exalted personality, and let this foolish son glorify his divine father on this most auspicious appearance day of Your Divine Grace in this material world.
Lord Caitanya wanted to distribute the topmost jewel, the nectarine fruit of love of God, Kṛṣṇa Prema, all over the world. What a merciful Lord!
pṛthivīte āche yata nagarādi grāma
sarvatra pracāra haibe mora nāma
“In as many towns and villages as there are on the surface of the earth, My Holy Name will be preached.” [Caitanya Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.126]
Out of His causeless mercy, He felt divine anxiety to deliver all fallen souls. His dear associates were then also anxious to calm the transcendental anxiety of the Lord.
Many great souls descended from the spiritual sky to prepare a very very great effort of massive preaching. So, in a most glorious disciplic succession, through such exalted personalities as the six Gosvāmīs of Vṛndāvana, Śrīla Narottama Dāsa Ṭhākūra, Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura, Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura, the great ācārya His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda and you appeared to command the greatest mission, the topmost dream: A worldwide Society of Vaiṣṇava devotees meant to fulfill Lord Caitanya’s prediction.
Most of Śrīla Prabhupāda’s godbrothers thought of this as an impossible task and after the departure of their spiritual master engaged in mundane dispute, forgetting Śrīla Bhakisiddhānta’s will and instructions. But, despite confusion, in order to help Śrīla Prabhupāda, Lord Gaurasundara sent the jewel amongst His servants:
The clever boy,
always looking for his Lord,
The jewel was born.
The unavoidable departure of Śrīla Prabhupāda took place, the mood of service turned to vāṇi, transcendental connection through the instructions. Most of the disciples felt discourged, but anyway, the true devotees did not leave the battlefield. Instead, they fiercely took their spiritual master’s instruction as their life and soul…
“Please help me to push forward this movement...”
“If you really love me, work together cooperatively…”
Amongst the few highly advanced disciples, Lord Gaurasundara’s jewel was given the task.
Lord Caitanya’s leading followers spread His glories, and in the same way, close devotees of Śrīla Prabhupāda made him glorious, and these confidential devotees cannot be other than the ones sent by the Lord at help glorify the pure Vaiṣṇava, the great ācārya, founder of ISKCON, cream of the nectar of genuine Vaiṣṇava associations, supported by four strong statements:
Books are the basis
Preaching is the essence
Purity is. The force
Utility is the principle
Higher taste we develop hearing the nectarian CAITANYA-LĪLĀ. Without drinking this nectar emanating from the lotus mouth of Lord Gaurasundara’s jewel, the powerful ISKCON ācārya ŚRĪLA ĀCĀRYAPĀDA, what is the chance of attaining detachment from the mundane so-called taste? All glories to Śrīla Ācāryapāda!
Higher taste we develop when His Divine Grace so purely chants the Holy Names, pouring this nectar in ecstasy with the powerful vibration of his great karatālas, shaking our hearts immersing us in the unknown ocean of happiness, revealing the wonderful ecstatic sweetness of the HARINĀMA SAṄKĪRTANA. All glories to Śrīla Ācāryapāda!
Deeper faith we develop with the amazing spread of the NAMĀHAṬṬA program, which is literally fulfilling the Lord’s prediction... “In every town and village...” Śrīla Ācāryapada’s success fully established the NĀMAHAṬṬA, satisfying the inner desire of Śrīla Bhaktivinoda. Let us postrate ourselves before the great ISKCON ācārya! All glories to Śrīla Ācāryapāda!
Great realization we attain drinking the nectar of the glories of the Holy Dhāma. ŚRĪ MĀYĀPUR DHĀMA is being revealed by the causeless mercy of Śrīla Ācāryapāda. Who else is giving this matchless gift? Let us postrate our heads before the great ISKCON Ācārya, the associate of ŚRĪ MĀYĀPUR DHĀMA. All glories to Śrīla Ācāryapāda!
Great inspiration we get upon seeing the JAYAPATĀKĀ flag flying vigorously, announcing Lord Caitanya’s all round victory! Śrīla Ācāryapāda is imposing around the world Nitāi-Gaura’s victory for the benefit of all the fallen souls. All glories to this most merciful Ācārya! All glories to Śrīla Ācāryapāda!
Oh dear transcendental physician, dear Spiritual Master and real friend! I find no limit to your countless qualities, or to your always expanding glories.
Oh great ācārya that makes from the difficult path an overwhelmingly sweet nectar, not only for your fortunate disciples, but for anyone that accepts your bonafide advice! Dear Vaiṣṇava ācārya, please bless me with a drop of your faithful service to your Spiritual Master in deep separation! To carry on your divine instructions despite difficulties!
Please bless me with a drop of your infinite mercy to help you with my childlike effort to push forward this movement just like an atom strongly sheltered under your Holy Lotus Feet! Kṛṣṇa’s mercy is found only through Nitāi-Gaura’s mercy, but without Your Divine Grace’s mercy, even the most merciful Lord’s mercy cannot be attained!
Before meeting your Divine Grace I had nothing but your Divine Grace gave me true life at your lotus feet!
I want this Vyāsa-pūjā offering to be not just words, but a reaffirmation of a lifetime works at your lotus feet. I feel myself like a piece of coal that Your Divine Grace is trying to clean. So wretched! Please do not kick out this fool, let me try my best. Make me an instrument to help you in your glorious mission. Please dear Master, bless me to develop nicely this year in Bolivia your dearest programs. Let this rascal duck associate with the swan-like devotees of your Divine Grace!
Oh dear Spiritual Master, please on this most auspicious day of your mercifully appearance in this world let this foolish son broadcast in my childish way the glories of Your Divine Grace.
I wash and drink the water of the feet of the great souls that have taken the secure shelter of Śrīla Ācāryapāda’s lotus feet. On this glorious day, I also invoke the blessings of the most fortunate devotees that have taken as their life and soul the service of Śrīla Ācāryapāda.
All glories to His Divine Grace Jayapatākā Swami Ācāryapāda, the dearest associate of Śrīla Prabhupāda and their Lordships Śrī Śrī Gaura Nitāi!
Dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda please accepts once again my postrated obeisances at the dust of your holy lotus feet.

All glories to Śrī Śrī Guru and Gaurāṅga! All glories the saṅkīrtana movement!
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!
All glories to the ISKCON Paramparā!
Beloved and patient Śrīla Ācāryapāda: What can I give? What can I do, if all that I do is wrong? If everything I give doesn’t have the purity or the humility enough for addressing your Divine Grace?
Oh Śrīla Ācāryapāda! Thank you, thank you for having so many good words for me; thank you for giving me such a simple solution to my problem of having a material body.
Oh my beloved guru mahārāja, please excuse me for not having any qualification for adressing Your Divine Grace. All glories to the representative of Śrī Gaura Hari; all glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda’s pure disciple; all glories to my guru mahārāja, he is lSKCON.

By the mercy of the spirital master one receives the benediction of Kṛṣṇa. Without the grace of the spiritual master, one cannot make any advancement. Therefore I should always remember and praise the spiritual master. At least three times a day I should offer my respectful obeisances unto the lotus feet of my spiritual master.
Oh saviour of the fallen souls, this useless and fallen servent cries out in the holy day of the Appearance of His Divine Grace “Śrīla Ācāryapāda Ki Jaya!!!”

Beloved spiritual father,
Let me prostrate myself unto the prints of your lotus feet.

All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda and the chain of disciplic succession.
Just as the brightest star of the dimensional cosmos illuminates with its refulgence this planet and all its continents maintaining its luminosity in all corners of the world.
Like that, in a mundane date and at the same time eternal, descended to this world a golden paramahaṁsa, an intimate associate of the Supreme Lord, one of those very few ones, of whom it is revealed in the śāstras as the knower of the mystery of the absolute Truth, the eternal lover of Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa, who with the transparency of his glance ignites in the core of the hearts the torch of devotion, who is permanently in the joy of bliss, who makes us penetrate in the nectar of his transparent words and his silent smile at the joy of the different humours in the pastimes of Lord Kṛṣṇa.
Because He is the eternal enjoyer of the sublimate of the “LĪLĀ PURUṢOTTAMA” that glides down like melodies of the heart and colours of the rainbow.
The supreme father who, through the benediction of the initiation transports us to the magic threshold of the service in the Kingdom of God overwhelming us in the light of the sacred laws emanated from the divine heart illuminating in this way the understanding of the “SAMBHĀṢAṆA” who transports us from the mundane verge of false ego fighting for power in this perishable world. Someone who has divine vision and at the same time the tenderness and innocence of a child.
In this way, the master of mercy receives his children in order to ignite in them the sacred flame of our original position as servants of the Supreme and to disentangle us from the inferior energy, penetrating to the mellows of the transcendental pastimes, with the joy of the heart.
How many feelings can one express love to the protector of the fallen souls, who rescues us from the ocean of illusion... to that incarnation of Divine Love who, like Lord Caitanya and the Gosvāmīs enjoy of the feelings of separation from Kṛṣṇa and Radharani and of the perfection of devotional service.
Let me prostrate myself once again to his lotus feet and thank him for having descended to this world and let me follow his instructions continuing in the sublimity of the “chanting of the Holy Name” of the Lord and the offering of the dance.

Thank you for making your transcendental appearance, so auspicious in this world in which we are not worthy of so much mercy. Because you are so kind, now we can enjoy the nectar of Devotional Service executing wonderful Sankirtana, by which we can get your mercy and Kṛṣṇa’s.
You are the ācārya that brought to us, from your Spiritual Master, all the benedictions to carry on the pañca-rātriki-viddhi, I mean the regulations stated by Nārada Muni for the Vaiṣṇavas’ Devotional Service.
Śrīla Ācāryapāda, please allow me to taste the nectar emanating from your mouth and please let me take shelter under the shade of your beautiful lotus feet.
Your eternal servant,

To my dear Spiritual Master,
All glories to Śrīla Ācāryapāda, who mercifully, like Lord Caitanya, is giving freely Pure Love for Kṛṣṇa.
All glories to my dear Gurudeva, who following the footsteps of Śrīla Prabhupāda is spreading Kṛṣṇa Consciousness in every town and village.
All glories to him, by whose grace one can leave this ocean of material suffering.
I offer my respectful obeisances a thousandtimes to the prints of his divine lotus feet.
My dear Master,
On this auspicious day of your transcendental appearance, I'would like to glorify your unlimited activities, as great, exalted Vaisnavas do, but I am so insignificant and fallen, that I’m devoid of intelligence to do so; I just want to express my deep gratitude for the causeless mercy that you gave me even though I am full of bad qualities and imperfections.
Please, I ask you to bestow your blessings upon me in order to develop some humility, determination and strength by which I could serve you better and advance in the right path of Devotional Service.

Beloved Spiritual Master, on this unforgettable day of your appearance, please receive my most humble, sincere and respectful obeisances as I fall at your blessed lotus feet, although unworthy, being myself the most fallen, offensive and undeserving.

O Spiritual Master! This is a day of great jubilation for all your disciples, because your appearance is the most auspicious event in the three worlds.
O Spiritual Master! Your appearance is most auspicious because, without your mercy, we can never reach Kṛṣṇa, for without the Guru it is not possible to escape the clutches of material existence.
O Spiritual Master! Your appearance is the greatest good fortune that a disciple can know, because it is by your example that we are shown the way to the spiritual world.
O Spiritual Master! You are the example and palpable proof that we can reach pure devotional service to Lord Kṛṣṇa and speak with the Supreme Personality of Godhead face to face and participate in His transcendental pastimes.

IT is a great and wonderful opportunity to be able to address you, my dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda, on this day of your Vyāsa-pūjā and it is only due to your causeless mercy.
I am a conditioned soul, attacked by the three modes of material nature, with a covetous, lusty and envious mind, gripped in the talons of illusion. I try to take shelter in your service, but the illusion drags me and it is for this reason that I cannot see that you are protecting me.
Please, Śrīla Ācāryapāda, be merciful unto me, you, who are savouring the honey-like taste of devotional service to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Śrī Kṛṣṇa, free me from the shakles of illusion, so that I may be of some assistance to you in your great mission of imparting Kṛṣṇa consciousness to the suffering souls.
Your insignificant servant,
Avadhūta Nitāi Dāsa
Please accept my humble obeisances at your lotus feet. All glories to you on this most wonderful day of your transcendental appearance.
Being most fallen and possessed of little intelligence, I cannot find suitable words to glorify you on this most auspicious celebration of your appearance.
O Śrīla Ācāryapāda, when will I be able to serve you sincerely with great love, without offences; I am not able to think of you constantly and am limited in my capacity to serve you; it is only when I am frustrated in sense gratification that I remember Lord Kṛṣṇa and seek shelter at your lotus feet.
I am unworthy of your mercy, but yet I am anxious to always be a particle of dust under your divine lotus feet, for thus I may escape from Māyā.
Take me as a sincere spiritual aspirant, always dependent on your mercy.
Your fallen servant,
Balarāma Dāsa
nama oṁ viṣṇu pādāya kṛṣṇa preṣṭāya bhu-tale
śrīmate jayapatākā swamin iti nāmine
Please accept my most respectful obeisances at you lotus feet.
My dear master,
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!! It was a little over a year ago, when I had the great good fortune of coming to know Your Divine Grace and since that time I always cherish in my heart of hearts the vision of you, an icon of compassion, wherever I may go. I know and I feel, in difficult moments, that you are always with me, even though I am so fallen.
I try every day to build up my sons’ Kṛṣṇa consciousness, so that they may get the blessing of initiation and your compassion. My life will grow in auspiciousness, as my Kṛṣṇa consciousness grows in humility and service without check.
Your eternal servant,
Ekāṅgi Devī Dāsī
nama oṁ viṣṇu pādāya kṛṣṇa preṣṭāya bhu-tale

Your Divine Grace, Śrīla Ācāryapāda,
Please, accept my most humble obeisances at your divine lotus feet, I am so fallen that I can’t describe the transcendental glories of a great soul, Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya’s pure devotee for your infinite mercy we can taste drops of sublime nectar of the Śrī Caitanya and Nityānanda’s mercy and pastimes.
I only wish your causeless mercy, and May I serve you forever and not wish anymore to serve my tongue and my body.
I am feeling very happy because I can glorify the most magnanimous and truthful soul in the three worlds: who is giving the most valuable present, the supreme present of the human life: to return to Kṛṣṇa. By the unique form that exist the pure devotional service under the guidance of our spiritual master Śrīla Ācāryapāda ki jaya! Accept my most truthful obeisances at your lotus feet.
The most insignificant of your servant,
Hemāṅga Vijāya Dāsa Brahmacārī.
Dear Gurudeva Śrīla Ācāryapāda!
Please allow me to offer my most respectful obeisances at your lotus feet.
The entire lifetime of the spiritual master is glorious, but this particular day is most glorified because on this day you descended into this material world in order to reclaim the fallen conditioned souls. I am one such fallen soul and my senses are continually dragging me to Māyā’s camp.
I do not have any intelligence, and it is only by your grace that I somehow or other remains in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, although my bad qualities and behaviour constantly check my advancement in spiritual life.
My dear spiritual master, please grant that my actions may not be egocentric, but rather cantered on service to you and Lord Kṛṣṇa. You are bestowing your mercy on everyone without cause; therefore it is hardly necessary to make a special request. Please pardon my disturbing you with my unlettered expressions and lack of perspicuity.
The pure devotee is glorified in the three worlds and is most dear to all.
All glories, all glories, all glories to my beloved spiritual master Śrīla Ācāryapāda!
Please accept this diminutive offering from the most useless servant of your servants.
Maṇi Mañjarīka Devī Dāsī
My dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda,
Please accept my humble obeisances at your lotus feet
nama oṁ viṣṇu pādāya kṛṣṇa preṣṭāya bhu-tale

Oh, Master! How to get the most beautiful words to glorify your divine qualities. I am a profane and I haven’t any intelligence.
Oh, Kṛṣṇa’s representative! I want to sing about your glories, fame and pastimes. But I am so contaminated I don’t understand them.
Oh, patita-pāvana! I constantly want to serve you at your lotus feet but I am without power and intelligence for does it.
Oh, Lord and Master! How can I repay the mercy that you have poured over me? I don’t have anything. It’s impossible!
I want to glorify you, sing about you and serve you; but I am a profane contaminated, without intelligence and I cannot repay your mercy.
But in the spite of your being good and merciful like Kṛṣṇa Himself and your accepting me as your disciple, in spite of that, I am not worthy and I between tears, I pray at your lotus feet.
Perhaps Kṛṣṇa was irritated with you because you have accepted me as your disciple. In the darkness of my ignorance, sometimes I cry and say “I am so fallen perhaps my Guru accepted me as his disciple because he believed that I may serve him, but, poor me! I am so low that I simply cry and cry in my heart, my unfortunate situation.”
When Māyā attacks I look at one of your photos, I join my hands and, between tears, I pray at your lotus feet, asking you to please give me an insignificant place in the immence ocean of your merciful heart.
You’re most fallen and low disciple,
Padma Hari Dāsa Brahmacārī
All glories to the most sublime spiritual master in the whole universe, His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda.
All Glories to his most exalted disciple His Divine Grace Śrīla Jayapatākā Swami Ācāryapāda.
Dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda
Throughout the whole year, this is the most sweet and beautiful day of all, because on this day you took your birth on this planet, thrilling with happiness all the conditioned souls, amongst whom am I. You are always absorbed in the pastimes of Lord Caitanya; your mind is always absorbed in spiritual bliss.
Śrīla Ācāryapāda, you are the light which floods the most dark, hidden places, by the rays of your mercy. I cannot boast that this year I have offered such and such service, nor can I lie theft now I understand what is devotional service and that I have developed pure love for you. Therefore I begs and implore you with all humility and shame - please give me your mercy. My intelligence is full of faults and my mind is mad. It is known to you that I am the most fallen lustful, envious, contaminated amongst all your disciples.
Dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda, you are the dearest disciple of Śrīla Prabhupāda, you are the friend of the conditioned souls, and you are always calm and serene.
I offers my obeisances to you, who are my eternal Guru.
Jai! All glories to Śrīla Ācāryapāda!
Your insignificant servant,
Sudhāmṛta Devī Dāsī
Dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda,
Please accept my most humble obeisances. All Glories to you, Śrīla Jayapatākā Swami Ācāryapāda! All Glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda, who is extending his unlimited causeless mercy by giving you as my spiritual master. If I could conceive of your compassion for me, the worst of the mad women in the Kali-yuga prison, then. I could describe this quality of your personality. But I am inadequate in the description of just one of your glories. Your compassion is far beyond my comprehension and analysis. What I can say is that I am happy only because of your compassion. You never said: “No, you are useless, I won’t save you” even though I am worthless. Instead, you said in your letter, “Actually it was simply my desire that you should somehow be nicely situated in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, happily and firmly.” So, by your compassionate desire, I am feeling relief from the anxieties which I uselessly tried to solve by my own miniscule intelligence. As I have said many times, without your compassion, my life could not continue.
You have given me the opportunity to dedicate my life for the highest purpose service to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Kṛṣṇa. To express some gratitude, are there any words that will equal my steady dedication to serving you? I pray that my actions will speak as loud as my words at initiation. I must bring others into your flood of friendliness, so they too can experience their first genuine relationship on this planet, the relationship which can satisfy all desires.
Let begging for your compassion be my only mode of approaching you, and let serving you be my only source of pleasure.
The very lowest of your most fallen servants,
Dhīra Devī Dāsī
My Dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda,
dui-guccha tṛṇa duṅhe daśane dhariyā
prabhu dekhi’ dūre paḍe daṇḍavat hañā
Seeing the Lord from a distance, the two brothers put two clumps of straw between their teeth and immediately fell down on the ground like rods offering Him obeisances, nama oṁ viṣṇu-pādāya kṛṣṇa-preṣṭāya bhū-tale śrīmate jayapatākā svāmin iti nāmine, following the example of Śrīla Rūpa Gosvāmī and Śrī Vallabha (Anupama Mallika) I offer my respectful obeisances unto the Lotus feet of His Divine Grace Jayapatākā Swami, Śrīla Ācāryapāda, who is very dear to Lord Kṛṣṇa and Lord Caitanya, having taken shelter at Their Lotus feet.
On this your Vyāsa-pūjā day, your disciples all around the world will be chanting your glorious adventures and discussing your transcendental qualities, I meditate this day on those times when you have allowed me to serve you. I feel great happiness seeing you arrive at the airport and trying to please you while you stay with us. Awaking you in the morning, serving you throughout the day and seeing you take rest at night; I can only pray that I may do things better the next day. The hardest part of serving you is the intense separation I feel on seeing you walk down the concourse to your plane, ready to travel to other temples to further preach the glories of chanting the holy-name. At such a time, I can only pray for your safe trip and swift return to New Pānihāṭi Dhāma.
Your servant,
Jita-krodha Dāsa
Śrīla Ācāryapada,
As Śrīla Prabhupāda had said: you are an associate of Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya Mahāprabhu, delivering souls having American, Indian, Spanish or any type of body; delivering souls from material entanglement is more important to you than booking at the type of body they may be embodied in.
You are so merciful that you load more mercy on the soul than he deserves, making no discrimination among your disciples, whatever insignificant work he does. Inspite of your busy schedules and long long travels around the world, you have time for everybody, even though it means insufficient rest for you.
New devotees like me, struggling to come out of ‘Māyā’ can only gather hope from observing your personal example, as you believe in “Example is the best precept”.
As Śrīla Prabhupāda used to say: he does everything to please His Guru Mahārāja. I was ecstatic when you accepted me as your disciple on behalf of Śrīla Prabhupāda, to please him. Otherwise, I had no hope at all, as Śrīla Prabhupāda is no more on this planet and I do not know how to travel to the planet where He may have appeared. By your mercy, I am able to serve Śrīla Prabhupāda every day. Like Śrīla Ācāryadeva, you are determined to spread the ISKCON to all sections of society, from beggar to Governor, from illiterate to intellectuals, by giving your vision of how to solve the financial and managerial problems any temple might face so that ISKCON can reach out to all without any exception.
You are the only hope for the East or the West and for the North or the South.
All glories to you and Śrīla Prabhupāda.
Your disciple,
Pūrṇadeva Candra
Dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to you. All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda. Just as the preceding acaryas have chanted the Holy Names and bestowed their causeless mercy upon the conditioned souls, you are continuing as only a true spiritual master can.
It is the duty of each disciple to assist the spiritual master in this effort to spread Kṛṣṇa Consciousness to every town and village, as Lord Caitanya desired; I beg that I may help in some insignificant way.
One becomes Kṛṣṇa Conscious by the mercy of Guru. Please give me your mercy, and intelligence to follow your instructions, it is your encouragement that is making me more serious about the path of self-realization.
Your humble servant,
Vasudha Devī Dasī
I offer my most respectful obeisances in the dust of the lotus feet of my exalted spiritual master, His Divine Grace Śrīla Jayapatākā Swami Ācāryapāda Mahārāja. I pray I can offer these obeisances carefully.
My dear Śrīla Ācāryapāda,
I feel unable to properly praise you, who are so unfathomable to the mundane mind. ‘sādhu-mārgaṇa-gamana’ doesn’t mean imitating the same activities as the great souls, rather it means accepting their mission and goals and striving with whatever god-given means are available, with all the intelligence and determination at one’s command, to accomplish them. So, in this way, you are doing something wonderful for Kṛṣṇa. Kṛṣṇa told Arjuna on the battlefield of Kuru-kṣetra:
mayaivaite nihatāḥ pūrvam eva
nimitta-mātraṁ bhava savya-sācin
It is already accomplished by the Lord’s supreme potency and desire. So you have taken this mission seriously.
Śrīla Ācāryapāda, you are an expert cowherd man who knows how to most skilfully use the rod to prod us onwards by poking us in our false egos. Please push me on. Please reach into my heart and take hold of theiiard knots of material attachments and illusion and twist them, as a dentist pulling teeth, and uproot them with a swift motion. Surely, I’ll be shocked, pain? - Yes!, but, like the removal 'of a bad tooth, most beneficial.
As you are so capable of seeing the hidden potentials of your disciples, I want to be capable to offer you what potential I have, as you wish to use it. During times of offering praise at your lotus feet, I wish to speak words mouth, like so many crackers falling from a box, will never please you, even if they are packaged in the most modern sophisticated terms. If I can succeed in actually offering you appropriate words of praise, then I may increase your bliss, for such words can be made only of a transcendental realization of the importance of your mission and your means of attaining it. Please help me to understand. I need your tearful explanations to keep me under your wing. I have only a block on my shoulder-stone. I honestly can say that I’d be most excited with a glimpse of what you want of this great ISKCON and what exact role you would have me fill within it.
I hope I will tearfully fall on the floor before you and say, in great ecstasy, “Śrīla Ācāryapāda, I understand, I fully understand.” I think that then I will fully know the import of your mission here on this planet and will then be able to glorify you in words fully befitting your divine position as the most perfect representative of the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
Your eternal servant,
Viśvamūrti Dāsa.
nama oṁ viṣṇu pādāya kṛṣṇa preṣṭāya bhu-tale
śrīmate jayapatākā swamin iti nāmine
My Dear Guru Mahārāja,
Please accept my humble obeisances. I never saw your Divine Grace in person, but I completely surrendered unto your lotus feet just after listening to your “CRY FOR KṚṢṆA” Immediately after hearing the cry I felt as if you were directly exhorting me to CRY for Kṛṣṇa. I began with 4 rounds and jumped on to 16 within 30 days. By your grace I am able to chant 32 comfortably. Sitting on my altar besides Śrīla Prabhupāda, You guide me day by day to become pure and surrendered.
I was like a dog in the street before coming into association of your pure devotees. Let me now become a faithful dog at your doorstep. A dog that will remain alert in the service of his master even at the risk of being poisoned or shot.
Your little servant,
SD Jñanendra
